Abstract

This study aims to explore the potential of forest natural resources in the forest of Taman Gumi Banten, both regarding the potential of ethnobotany and ethnoecology in an effort to develop forest tourism. The location of this research is in the forest of Taman Gumi Banten, Wanagiri Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency. This type of research is included in the type of exploratory research. The population of this research is all plant species in the forest of Taman Gumi Banten, while the research sample is plant species covered by the square. In an effort to utilize the forest of Taman Gumi Banten as forest tourism, interviews, questionnaires, and observations were conducted. Data were analyzed using ecological statistics and descriptive analysis. The conclusion from the results of this study is the potential of forest natural resources in the forest of Taman Gumi Banten, both regarding its ethnobotany and ethnoecological potential, can be used as components that contribute to the development of forest tourism. The existing potential is in the form of information about plant species that make up the forest of Taman Gumi Banten, diversity of plant species, SDR and IV, utilization, processing, and products produced from plant species in the forest, distribution maps of plant species, and forest conservation based on local wisdom.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the design, feasibility, and practicality of a HOTS-oriented flipbook on the human reproductive system material for class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Tegallalang. This research and development research uses the ADDIE development model. The tests carried out in this study consisted of a feasibility test and a practicality test. The feasibility test is carried out by one material expert and one media expert. The practicality test in this study was carried out by students of class XI as many as 3 students for individual trials and 12 students for group trials. The data collection technique was carried out by filling out the instruments in the questionnaire. The instruments used are online preliminary study questionnaires, feasibility test questionnaires and practicality test questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out descriptively to determine the level of feasibility and practicality of the flipbook. The results of this study are 1) the design of a HOTS-based flipbook consisting of an introduction, core material and closing. 2) the feasibility test shows a percentage of 89.99% by material experts and 90.52 by media experts with a very decent category, and 3) the practicality test is obtained from student responses of 92.85% from individual tests and 93.92% from a small group test with a very practical category. The unique of the flipbook is that it is structured HOTS-oriented with features that adapt to different student learning styles. Based on the research, the conclusion obtained is that the HOTS-oriented flipbook on the material of the human reproductive system is stated to be very feasible and very practical to use as an alternative media in learning activities. Abstract

Cacing Sutra (Tubifex sp.) merupakan salah satu pakan alami yang cocok digunakan sebagai pakan larva ikan, baik ikan konsumsi maupun ikan hias air tawar. Kegiatan budidaya Cacing Sutra perlu dikembangkan sebagai solusi untuk mengatasi ketergantungan cacing sutera dialam dan untuk menghasilkan Cacing Sutra yang berkualitas sehingga memerlukan media budidaya yang baik. Limbah kepala udang dapat diolah menjadi tepung kepala udang berdasarkan bentuk fisik tergolong dalam flavor padat (Solid flavouring) yang dihasilkan melalui proses penepungan, setelah sebelumnya melalui tahap pengeringan/penjemuran. Tujuan dari Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan limbah kepala udang dengan dosis yang berbeda untuk pertumbuhan Cacing Sutra (Tubifex sp). Penelitian ini berdasarkan pada rancangan percobaan yang menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas 4 perlakuan dengan 3 kali ulangan. Perlakuan yang di gunakan adalah Kontrol (A) Lumpur 1 Kg, Perlakuan 1 (B) Lumpur 1Kg + Tepung Kepala Udang 200 g, Perlakuan 2 (C) Lumpur 1Kg + Tepung Kepala Udang 400 g, Perlakuan 3 (D) Lumpur 1Kg + Tepung Kepala Udang 600 g. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan selama 20 hari dapat diketahui bahwa dengan dosis media tepung kepala udang yang berbeda dapat mempengaruhi biomassa dan populasi cacing sutera (Tubifex sp). Penambahan biomassa cacing sutera tertinggi pada perlakuan C dengan dosis pemberian media lumpur berpasir 1kg dan tepung kepala udang 400g/wadah dengan hasil biomassa (18.00± 0.31 gram) dan populasi (17826± 311) individu cacing sutera.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are one of the skills that everyone must have to face the challenges of the 21st century. Indonesia's 2018 PISA results are still low with a rank of 72 out of 78 countries where these PISA questions are questions with higher-level thinking skills that cause students' critical thinking skills. Learning model and sex differences are variables that must be considered in an effort to improve critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of Discovery Learning learning model assisted by Google Classroom and sex differences on students' critical thinking skills and to determine whether there is an interaction between learning models and sex differences on students' critical thinking skills on the material of the body's defense system. The results showed that there was no significant difference from the Discovery Learning and Expository Learning learning models assisted by Google Classroom as well as sex differences where the results of the Two WayANOVA Test for the learning model variable were 0.232 and for sex differences 0.270. then there is no significant interaction between the learning model and sex differences on critical thinking skills with a significance value for the interaction between the learning model and sex differences of 0.513.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan bertujuan untuk mengetahui rancangan, tingkat validitas, dan efisiensi dari aplikasi sains play. Jenis penelitian yang dipakai yaitu penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Uji coba validitas dilakukan oleh ahli media dan ahli materi, dengan menggunakan lembar validasi. Uji coba efisiensi dilakukan dengan cara menyebarkan angket respon kepada peserta didik. Uji coba kepada peserta didik dilaksanakan di MTs NU Nurussalam Gebog Kudus. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu rancangan aplikasi sains play yang telah disesuaikan dengan kompetensi inti dan kompetensi dasar pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup, validitas aplikasi sains play yang diperoleh sebanyak 97,5% dengan kategori sangat layak, dan analisis efisiensi didapatkan hasil sebanyak 90,1% dengan kategori sangat efisien. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan, aplikasi sains play sangat layak dan sangat efisien saat digunakan untuk mempelajari materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup kelas VII.

Abstract

Banyak media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan oleh dosen dan mahasiswa dalam proses belajar mengajar. Setiap media memiliki kelebihan dan kekurangan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis media yang sesuai untuk pembelajaran biologi. Peran media pembelajaran dalam proses belajar mengajar merupakan bagian penting yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dari dunia pendidikan. Media pembelajaran adalah segala sesuatu yang dapat digunakan untuk menyalurkan pesan dari pengirim ke penerima untuk merangsang pikiran, perasaan, perhatian, dan minat siswa dalam belajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Objek penelitian difokuskan pada permasalahan media pembelajaran yang digunakan mahasiswa jurusan Biologi Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Subjek penelitian sejumlah 12 mahasiswa biologi semster 5. Teknik pengambilan data penelitian menggunakan teknik wawancara langsung ke responden dan kuesioner terbuka secara online dengan aplikasi google form. Analisis data penelitian meliputi tiga tahapan yakni, pertama reduksi data, display data dan verifikasi kesimpulan. Hail penelitian menunjukan media yang sering digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran terdiri dari Powerpoint, Buku, Video Pembelajaran, Spada, Word, Microsite, Siat, canva, chart dan LSM. Pengunaan media didominasi oleh pengunaan Powerpoint karana dianggap sebagai media yang paling mudah untuk digunakan, selain itu Powerpoit lebih praktis, luwes mudah diakses dimanapun dan kapanpun, dan sangat cocok digunakan dalam kelas besar. Media yang dikembangkan untuk menunjang selama proses perkuliahan Produksi Media Pembelajaran yaitu media yang mudah diakses dari mana saja, media yang berbasis digital serta media yang cara penggunaannya mudah untuk dioperasikan.

Abstract

Sterilization and explant planting practice can help utilize plant parts to regenerate quickly and can be adjusted according to current needs. Developments in the field of education must also accompany the development of science and technology. Because the material discussed emphasizes the process dimension of learning with practical and experimental guidance, it is very suitable for developing students' knowledge and skills and discovering the basic concepts of tissue culture for themselves. This study aims to find out the feasibility of learning media based on android on the topic of sterilization and explant planting in tissue culture subject matter. The study employs an ADDIE-based development study design that incorporates analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The developed media product is a learning media application in the apk. format that is compatible with Android smartphone devices. From April 2022 to September 2022, the survey was carried out. The media expert outcomes for the Learning Media Approval Test showed him accomplishing a score of 90,625 in the very worthy class. The learning media feasiility test, which was administered by experts in teaching materials, gave a score of 95.5 points, which is very worthy to use. The tissue culture lecturer's responses to the learning media received a score of 78.056, which is very good category. The student responses to the learning media were rated "very good" with 91.5 points. It has been well received by experts, a tissue culture lecturer, and biology majors who have used it as an Android-based learning media.
