Abstract

This study was aimed to design and implement an application that can give early warnings via SMS in case of an outbreak of typhoid fever in the surrounding area. Until now, typhoid fever is still endemic in Indonesia and easily found around us. High body temperature is one characteristic of this disease. The disease was caused by Salmonella typhi bacteria infection that enters the body through the digestive tract. These disease is part of endemic diseases. The concept offered in the provision of a warning message was to consider the extent of the potentially affected by outbreaks of the disease without having to be depended on the complex GIS component, including without involving the position determination like GPS (Global Positioning System) and LBS (Location Based Services). There were three main processes in this system, that were estimating the position of one's home through calculations utilizing triangulation approximation, validating the existence of a fictitious case, and the determination of spreading message radius. The application was developed by using open source Gammu Easy Installer 1.25 as an SMS gateway and PHP 5.2.8 as a programming language. The testing of the system using a fictitious map that created by author. Based on trial results, it is known that the application has been able to give an warning messages of typhoid fever that was built according to design

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada matapelajaran Teknologi Informasi dan komunikasi dengan menerapkan model pembelajaranTeam Assisted Individualization, dan mengetahui respon siswa terhadap penerapanmodel pembelajaran TAI.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Sukasada Singaraja, di manamelibatkan siswa kelas XI IS 2 (28 siswa) tahun ajaran 2011/2012. Desain penelitian iniadalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Data yangdikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar dan respon siswa terhadappenerapan model pembelajaran TAI pada mata pelajaran TIK. Data hasil belajar siswadikumpulkan melalui tes kognitif dan lembar observasi afektif serta psikomotor,sedangkan data respon siswa dikumpulkan dengan lembar angket tertutup.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Terdapat peningkatan hasil belajarsiswa. Hal ini terlihat dari ketuntasan klasikal siswa yang diperoleh pada siklus I sebesar64,29%, dan pada siklus II sebesar 82,14%. Hasil belajar ini mengalami peningkatansebanyak 17,85%. (2) rata-rata respon siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaranTAI tergolong positif yaitu sebesar 44,96. Peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa penerapanmodel pembelajaran TAI pada mata pelajaran TIK dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar danmendapatkan respon positif dari siswa.

Abstract

This research was expected tohelp the community in obtaining information related to the alert warning that the spreadof Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in the area when the reporting of cases.This research was the development of an application was made to build a RegionBased Warning System Of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever Spreading By SMS GatewayWith Haversine Method Formula, where the application will be able to accommodatethe data report of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever, warning Dengue Hemorrhagic Feverdata, and user data that has been registered. The Development Of Region BasedWarning System As The Spread Of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever SMS Gateway BasedBy Haversine Method Formula uses Waterfall model and was designed using the DataFlow Diagram (DFD).The Application Of Region Based Warning System Of Dengue HemorrhagicFever Spreading By SMS Gateway With Haversine Method Formula was implementedusing the programming language PHP and MySQL as the database as well asapplication to run Gammu SMS Gateway. After the testing process, it is concluded thatthe application provides the information Dengue Fever warning alert is sent via SMStext to take into account the coverage area according to the flight range of Aedesaegypti.

Abstract

This study was aimed to design and implement a plagiarism detection application on the Indonesian documents texts using Rabin-Karp algorithm. The input of this application such documents which have text file (*. txt, *. html, *. php, *. xml, *. doc, *. docx, *. rtf) and the output of this application is the percentage of similarity of two documents. The result of this study is an application which is called "PlagiaTor" which was developed by using Borland Delphi 7 programming language. This application was able to detect plagiarism synonym words on Indonesian language document. On the PlagiaTor application there were five processes to detect the similarity of two documents, there were: casefolding and tokenizing, filtering, synonym recognition, stemming and string matching. The testing was done by trying out cutting document in any part of that document then the words were replaced by that synonym of those words and using different k-gram. Based on the testing, could be obtained the result that the application was able to detect plagiarism on synonym word well.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui peningkatkan aktivitas belajar TIK siswa, (2) peningkatkan hasil belajar TIK siswa, dan (3) mengetahui respon siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran dan Komunikasi. Penelitian ini dimana pemahaman siswa mengenai materi ajar rendah serta keaktifan siswa dalam mengikuti pelajaran yang kurang menyebabkan hasil bela Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 1 Sukasada tahun ajaran 2011/2012. Objek penelitiannya adalah (1) aktivitas belajar, (2) hasil belajar, dan (3) respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes formatif, lembar observasi, dan angket respon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran TIK dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif model belajar siswa, (2) meningkatkan mendapatkan respon positif siswa terhadap pembelajaran TIK. Peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa dapat dilihat dari peningkatan rata belajar kelas dari nilai 18,35 dengan kategori cukup aktif pad 20,92 dengan kategori aktif pada siklus II. Sedangkan peningkatan hasil belajar TIK siswa dapat dilihat dari peningkatan nilai rata dengan nilai 67,71 meningkat sebesar siklus II meningkat sebesar pembelajaran CORE daya serap siswa. Ketuntasan klasikal pada siklus I sebesar 71, 82,86% pada siklus II. Daya serap siswa pada siklus I sebesar 73% menjadi 78,89% pada siklus II. Sedangkan untuk respon siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran CORE data 49% siswa yang merespon sangat positif, 37% siswa merespon positif, 14% merespon cukup positif dan tidak ada siswa yang merespon negatif ataupun sangat

Abstract

The purpose of this research are (1) to know the degree of relationship between emotional quotient to ICT learning result at XI class students’ of SMAN 7 Denpasar; (2) to know the degree of relationship between spiritual quotient to ICT learning result at XI class students’ of SMAN 7 Denpasar;(3) to know degree of relationship between spiritual quotient and emotional quotient to ICT learning result at XI class students’ of SMAN 7 Denpasar. The method or approach used in this research was non experiment or ex post facto because the researcher did not use any treatment or manipulation the research’s variables. The researcher only gathered data according to the result of tendency that already existed naturally in the respondents. The research took place at SMAN 7 Denpasar, Jalan Kamboja No. 9, Denpasar. The subject of the research are the XI grade students. Research time was in even semester in academic year 2011/2012. The sample of this research was 233 students.  Based on to the research’s result revealed that emotional quotient and spiritual quotient factor play a role in determining the result of student learning ICT. The analyzes result showed that (1) the relationship between emotional intelligence variables (X1) with learning outcomes (Y) and spiritual intelligence (X2) still has a relationship of 0.303 is considered low, (2) the relationship between the variables of spiritual intelligence (X2) with learning outcomes (Y) with emotional intelligence (X1) still has a relationship of 0.234 categorized as low, (3) the relationship between emotional intelligence variables (X1) and spiritual intelligence variables (X2) with learning outcomes (Y) to have a relationship of 0.611 is considered strong; (4) the presences of significant relationship between   emotional quotient and the result of class XI students learning ICT at SMAN 7 Denpasar is amounting to 33,7 % and the presences of significant relationship between   spiritual quotient and the result of class XI students learning ICT at SMAN 7 Denpasar is amounting to 31%; (5) The common perception that there are significant relationship between emotional quotient and spiritual quotient to class XI students the ICT learning result at SMAN 7  Denpasar together amounting 37,3%

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research andDevelopment / R&D) yang bertujuan untuk (1) untuk merancang Pengembangan Game Simulasi “Tingklik Virtual Music”; (2) untuk mengimplementasikan PengembanganGame Simulasi “Tingklik Virtual Music” Tingklik adalah instrumen perkusi tradisional yang berasal dari Bali, Tingklik terbuat dari sebelas tabung bambu berongga yang menghasilkan suara yang sesuai untuk skala pentatonic. Mentransformasikan alat musik tingklik ke dalam bentuk alat musikvirtual pada mesin game arcade akan mampu memadukan interaksi pemain dengan instrumen virtual dengan amat baik, sehingga menimbulkan kesan inovatif dan futuristik serta yang paling penting adalah menarik untuk dimainkan. Hal tersebut dikarenakan game musik virtual mempunyai keunggulan dari musik tradisional dalam kemudahan interaksi. Pengembangan game ini mempergunakan model pengembangan Waterfall yang menghasilkan produk berupa game simulasi berbasis flash. Game Simulasi “TingklikVirtual Music” layak dipergunakan dari anak – anak sampai dewasa. Game ini menyediakan fitur – fitur menarik, dari pemilihan musik sampai pemilihan avatar –avatar yang menarik. Implementasi game simulasi Tingklik Virtual Music mempergunakan program Adobe Flash CS3 dengan bahasa pemrograman flash Action Script 2.0. Pengujian game dilakukan menggunakan blackbox testing yang bertujuan untuk menguji fungsionalitas perangkat lunak. Hasil pengujian membuktikan bahwa game sudah sesuai dengan alur storyboard dan layak untuk dipakai.

Abstract

Penelitian tentang perbaikan kualitas pembelajaran teknologi informasi komunikasi pada siswa kelas X-7 SMA Negeri 3 Singaraja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas, dengan implementasi improving learning melalui metode drill dan resitasi. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X-7 SMA Negeri 3 Singaraja tahun ajaran 2011/2012 yang berjumlah 27 orang siswa. Objek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran teknologi informasi komunikasi. Data mengenai aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa ini dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif sesuai dengan kriteria penilaian masing-masing aspek. Dengan tindakan yang dilakukan ternyata hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas siswa secara klasikal dalam pembelajaran mengalami peningkatan dari kategori cukup menjadi baik. Hasil belajar klasikal mengalami peningkatan dari 29,92 % menjadi 88,89 %, siswa mencapai nilai ≥ 75. Berdasarkan hal tersebut tindakan yang dilakukan pada pembelajaran teknologi informasi komunikasi dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dengan hasil yang memuaskan.

Abstract

In teaching learning process, the form of teaching learning cooperative typed STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) is able to be done when it is applicated in the school. Media e-learning can be used the teaching learning type STAD and can be done everywhere. E-learning is the conventional of cooperative that is used in digital format though the internet technology. With casting the concept of teaching learning of STAD to the e-learning, it will make e-learning to be more innovative.  This research will be developed in one of media e-learning based on the type of teaching learning cooperative of STAD (Student Team Achievement Division). This research is the fundamental research, so in the implementing use the method of standard in improving that use the method System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with model Waterfall. The improve or expand the software in Waterfall model begins from the level system and move to expansion of the advance steps from analysis phase, desain, coding, operation and maintenance.   The output of research is the media e-learning in teaching learning model of cooperative type of STAD (Student Team Achievement Divison) that has been designed in using DFD (Data Flow Diagram) with the three entities that are administrator, teachers and students. The media has been expanded or built to use the language program of PHP and MySQL as the base of data. This media has been equitable with the step of teaching learning cooperative type STAD so it has been one of media alternative that can simflity the teachers in teaching model of teaching learning cooperative type STAD (Student Team Achievement Divison).

Abstract

Nowadays, Ganesha University of Education, especially the Department ofEducational Information Technology (PTI), is still using manual procedure of presence checking system. Data of students’ presence is still acquired through printed media containing columns of attendance for each course they should take at the moment. This condition allows data manipulations which cause data inaccuracy if appropriate monitoring act is not properly done. Based on those uprising problems, the development of Fingerprint Presence Checking System for Intelligent System Laboratory of Department of Educational Information Technology is needed. In conducting this study, fingerprint sensor technology was applied to presence checking system. Therefore, possibility of presence manipulation was eliminated since students’ fingerprint is a unique personal characteristic. This system was developed using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 in which PHP scripting was used as programming language with MySQL as its database management system. Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 was used in developing desktop interface for students’ presence checking system. Meanwhile, PHP programming script was used in developing web-based application for data administration system. The developed system is capable of utilizing fingerprint as data source on fingerprint sensor which equipped with students’ fingerprint identification system. Therefore, when students are doing registration, this presence checking system may work well. Besides, this developed system is also capable of identifying students’ fingerprints on registration process, managing presence data, and summarizing presence data for reportage purposes. This system is highly hoped to ease up students’ presence management system in Intelligent System Laboratory of Department of EducationalInformation Technology (PTI) in the Faculty of Technics and Vocations Undiksha. Therefore, their presence data is accurate and reliable.
