Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  Pengaruh Nutrisi AB mix Terhadap Pertumbuhan Tanaman Bayam Merah (Amaranthus tricolor L.) secara Hidroponik, pada bulan Juni 2019 sampai Agustus 2019 di Workshop Fakultas MIPA Universitas PGRI Palembang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh pemberian dosis nutrisi AB mix terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman bayam merah (Amaranthus tricolor L.). Metode penelitian adalah eksperimen dalam Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), menggunakan 5 perlakuan 4 ulangan yaitu P0 (kontrol/tanpa nutrisi), P1 ( 5 ml nutrisi AB mix), P2 (10 ml nutrisi AB mix), P3 (15 ml nutrisi AB mix), P4 (20 ml nutrisi AB mix), dianalisis dengan Analisis Sidik Ragam (ANSIRA). Parameter yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun dan berat basah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian dosis unsur hara AB mix berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun dan berat basah tanaman bayam merah (Amaranthus tricolor  L.). Perlakuan terbaik P3  dengan  dosis 15 ml dengan tinggi tanaman 24,2 cm, jumlah daun 13,25 helai dan berat basah tanaman 18,825 gram, hasil terendah pada perlakuan P0 dengan tinggi tanaman 5.65 cm, jumlah daun 8,5 helai dan berat basah tanaman 0,375 gram.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian Toksisitas Ekstrak Daun Srikaya (Annona squamosa Linn.) Terhadap Jamur Fusarium sp. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara in vitro dengan tujuan untuk menngetahui toksisitas ekstrak metanol daun sirsak terhadap jamur Fusarium sp penyebab layu kecambah pada tanaman. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 6 perlakuan 5 kali ulangan. Ekstrak metanol daun srikaya yang dipakai yaitu konsentrasi 0%, 2%, 4%, 6%, 8% dan 10%. Hasil analisis sidik ragam menunjukkan bahwa pemberian perlakuan ekstrak daun srikaya berpengaruh nyata terhadap jamur Fusarium sp. Ekstrak daun srikaya bersifat toksik terhadap pertumbuhan jamur Fusarium sp. Toksisitas ekstrak daun srikaya terhadap jamur Fusarium sp berbanding lurus  antara konsentrasi perlakuan dengan persentase penghambatannya. Pada konsentrasi ekstrak daun srikaya sebanyak 2% sudah bersifat toksik dalam menghambat pertumbuhan Fusarium sp.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Lake Toba is the largest lake in Indonesia with an area of 113,000 hectares of water. Lake stock assessment activities carried out to see the current Lake Toba fishery stock. This is necessary as one of the right efforts to maintain the sustainability of fish resources to be maintained, even the production can beimproved. This research estimated the standing stock in Lake Toba by using hydroacoustic method. The tool used is the echosounder BIOSONIC DT-X which is placed as transduser divided bim (split beam echosounder) 200 KHz. The calculation results obtained standing stock seen from the density / total fish density in the waters of Lake Toba, which is  40 kg / ha. When converted to the extent of Lake Toba 113,000 hectares, the standing stock of Lake Toba is 4,520 tons. proportional to the production of fishermen catches of 4,236.56 tons. This value decreased from previous years.Therefore, the management of capture fisheries in Lake Toba, such as the establishment of a conservation zone with good supervision and fish-glass control in order not to become invasive species. Keywords: Toba Lake, density, hidroacoustic, standing stock ABSTRAK abstrakDanau Toba merupakan danau terbesar di Indonesia dengan luas perairan 113.000 hektar. Kegiatan  kajian  stok Danau dilakukan untuk melihat stok perikanan Danau Toba saat ini.  Hal ini diperlukan sebagai  salah  satu  upaya yang  tepat  untuk  menjaga kelestarian  sumber  daya  ikan supaya dapat dipertahankan, bahkan  produksinya dapat  ditingkatkan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengestimasi standing stock di Danau Toba dengan menggunakan metode hidroakustik. Alat yang digunakan adalah echo sounder BIOSONIC DT-X yang ditempatkan sebagai transduser bim terbagi (split beam echosounder) 200 KHz. Hasil perhitungan didapatkan standing stock yang dilihat dari densitas/kepadatan ikan total di perairan Danau Toba, yaitu 40 kg/ha. Apabila dikonversikan dengan luas Danau Toba 113.000 hektar, maka standing stock Danau Toba adalah 4.520 ton, sebanding dengan produksi hasil tangkapan nelayan sebesar 4.236,56 ton. Nilai ini mengalami penurunan dari tahun-tahun sebelumnya. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengelolaan perikanan tangkap di Danau Toba, seperti penetapan zona konservasi dengan pengawasan yang baik dan pengendalian ikan kaca-kaca agar tidak menjadi spesies invasif. Kata kunci : Danau Toba, densitas ikan, hidroakustik, standing stock

Abstract

Research on motor vehicle noise reduction has been carried out with natural barriers in the form of plant cluster lengths. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of plant cluster length as a natural barrier to reduce motor vehicle noise levels. This study uses a purposive sampling method, where in the study of noise level measurements carried out at selected points and determined in accordance with existing plant clusters at the study site. The tools used in this study are sound level meter, stopwatch, roll meter and tripod. Sound level meters are placed in front of plant clusters and behind plant clusters at a height of 120cm above ground level. The noise level in front of and behind the planting cluster is measured simultaneously for 30 days during the daytime measurement activity. The data obtained were analyzed using one factorial variance analysis in the form of plant cluster length. The results showed that the noise reduction by the cluster of cape, bungur, Tembesi, mahogany and palm clusters with a cluster length of 25m was 10.5 dB; 8,6dB; 9,1dB; 5,4dB and 5,2dB, the length of the 20m plant cluster is 9.5 dB; 7.5dB; 6,4dB; 4.0 dB and 4.4 dB, the plant cluster length of 17.5 m is 5.9 dB; 5,8dB; 5,1dB; 3,4dB and 3,8dB, the length of the 15m plant cluster is 4.2 dB; 3,5dB; 3,9dB; 2,9dB and 3,1dB, the length of the 10m plant cluster is 3,8dB; 3,3dB; 2,7dB; 2,3dB and 2,7dB, and the 7.5m plant cluster length is 3,08dB; 3,1dB; 1,6dB; 1.7dB and 1.8dB. From BNT test with 99% confidence level showed that the greater difference in plant cluster length has a very significant effect on noise level reduction.

Abstract

Penelitian yang mengkaji perbedaan struktur komunitas plankton pada tata guna lahan yang berbeda  di kawasan sungai Cisadane Kota Tangerang  telah dilaksanakan pada Juni sampai September 2019. Penelitian menggunakan metode survey, pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara  purpossive sampling. Sampel diambil dari tata guna lahan yaitu kawasan pemukiman, kawasan pabrik dan kawasan tangkapan ikan. Setiap tata guna lahan ditentukan 3 stasiun.   Analisis plankton dilakukan di Laboratorium Biologi Universitas PGRI Palembang. Hasil  penelitian ditemukan 19 jenis fitoplankton dan 10 jenis zooplankton.  Kelimpahan fitoplankton dan zooplankton tertinggi ada pada stasiun 1 (kawasan taman kota) dengan nilai masing-masing 16,88 ind/liter dan 8,75 ind/liter. Indeks dominansi plankton di setiap stasiun memiliki nilai di bawah 1, sehingga dapat dikatakan tidak ada individu plankton yang mendominasi di perairan tersebut. Indeks keanekaragaman fitoplankton dan zooplankton di ketiga stasiun dikategorikan sedang, dengan nilai 1,71 – 2,41.

Abstract

Nursery is a places for buying, selling transactions and plants care in the urban. This study aims to reveal the diversity of plants that are traded in the Kranggan nursery, Bekasi, West Java. This research was conducted by surveying and interviewing nursery owners and managers to find out the types of plants being traded. Reponden was determined by purvosif sampling with criteria namely having a nursery of at least 100 m2 or having worked at the nursery for at least 2 years. The data obtained was analyzed descriptively statistically. Plants that are traded in Kranggan nursery vary greatly between one trader and another, namely between 93-140 species of plants. A total of a total of 197 plants were traded in the Kranggan nursery which were included in 158 genera and 76 families. When viewed from the habitus, most of the traded plants (86 species) are herbs, followed by trees (69 species), shrubs (36 species) and lianas (6 species). Mango (Mangifera indica), klengkeng (Euphoria longana), guava (Psidium guajava), are plants very potential to be developed because its favored by buyer. Bonsai plants such as anting putri (Wrightia religiosa) and Korean banyan (Ficus campanulata) have great economic and conservation potential because it has a high selling price and high fruiting frequency.

Abstract

Indonesia has 176 species and 24 genera of bamboos, around 11.5% of the total bamboo species in the world. In Lombok, there were found 6 genera, 15 species and 8 varieties. Bamboo has an important role on the river banks, it can prevent erosion of the river cliffs. The purpose of this study was to identify the species of highland bamboos, at the border of the Trengwilis river, Rinjani Mount National Park, Lombok. This research was conducted by descriptive explorative method, on July - April 2019. The Collecing data was used line sampling methode, with exploring the river border, 50 meters from the left and right edges of riverbed. Data collection in the field was carried out by recording 72 bamboo characters. The results were found eight species of bamboo which were included in five genera, e.g. Bambusa vulgaris Schard., Schizotachyum sp., Dendrocalamus sp. Dendrocalamus asper (Schult) Backer, Gigantochloa sp., Gigantochloa atter (Hassk.) Kurz., that were found at an attitude 623m-660m asl.; Gigantochloa apus (Schult.) Kurz. that grew as long as the Trengwilis riverbed at around atitude 623m-729m asl.; and Dinochloa sp. was found at an atitude 716m asl. Genus Dinochloa was a new record in West Nusa Tenggara Region.

Abstract

Pulau Salah Nama adalah perairan rawa yang dipengaruhi pasang surut.  Disekeliling Pulau tersebut ditumbuhi oleh beberapa jenis vegetasi riparian tanaman air, dan  terdapat juga pemukiman penduduk. Pulau tersebut dikelilingi daerah aliran Sungai Musi sehingga aktivitas penangkapan ikan selalu terjadi dengan menggunakan beberapa alat tangkap yang tidak ramah lingkungan khususnya empang dan jaring.  Daerah aliran Sungai Musi terindikasi mengalami penurunan kualitas lingkungan perairan. Aktivitas yang menyebabkan kerusakan tersebut antara lain penggunaan alat tangkap yang tidak sesuai atau tidak ramah lingkungan dan penambatan kapal (adanya dermaga kapal ilegal). Beberapa jenis biota air dalam kelas avertebrata dapat digunakan sebagai indikator untuk menilai kondisi perairan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi, kelimpahan dan keanekaragaman avertebrata yang ada di perairan Pulau Salah Nama. Penelitian dilakukan di Perairan Pulau Salah Nama pada bulan Agustus, November 2016 dan Januari 2017.  Lokasi pengambilan sampel ada 5 stasiun.  Metodenya menggunaka metode purposive sampling.  Pengambilan avertebrata menggunakan serok, hasil serok dimasukkan dalam plastik, diberi pengawet dan dibawa ke laboratoriun untuk diidentifikasi menggunakan buku identifikasi. Hasil identifikasi ditemukan  bahwa ada 3 kelas avertebrata yang ditemukan yaitu Gastropoda, Insekta dan Malacostraca. Komposisi tertinggi terdapat pada kelas gastropoda.  Kelimpahan avertebrata air berkisar 99,08-1047,5 idv/cm2, nilai indeks keanekaragaman berkisar 1<H<3. Nilai ini menandakan kondisi perairan di Pulau Salah Nama masih dalam kategori sedang dan stabil.

Abstract

Research on the Consumption Preference for Rice Beetles (Sitophilus oryzae L) in Several Rice Varieties was carried out from March to Mei 2019 at Laboratory Science Center of PGRI University. The study aims to determine the consumption preferences of several rice varieties caused by rice beetles. The study used the Experimental method in a completely randomized design (CRD) with five treatments and five replications, namely white, red, black, white sticky rice and black sticky rice varieties. Based on the analysis of fingerprints, the treatment of white sticky rice varieties significantly affected the amount of lose weight rice and rice beetle consumption preference, then continued with the BNT Test. The treatment of varieties D (white sticky rice) was not significantly different from the treatment of varieties E (black sticky rice), treatment E (black sticky rice) significantly different from the treatment of variety C (black rice), the treatment of variety C (black rice) was not significantly different from the treatment of variety B (brown rice), treatment of variety B (brown rice) was significantly different from the treatment of variety A (white rice). Based on the BNT Test, rice beetle consumption preferences seen from the weight reduction of rice in D rice varieties had the greatest weight reduction of 6.6 grams and the lowest weight reduction was white rice varieties of 0.9 grams, while for red, black and Black sticky rice has an average weight loss of rice each of 4.1 grams, 4.2 grams and 5.7 grams. Based on the percentage of preference (preference) for rice beetle consumption, it was found that the highest percentage was found in white sticky rice varieties at 6.6% and the lowest in white rice varieties at 1.5%, while for brown rice varieties at 4%, black rice 4.2% and black sticky rice 5.6%.

Abstract

Anthracnose disease caused by Colletotrichum gloeosporioides is one of an important fungal pathogen on mango fruits during the pre harvest or post harvest stage. The use of chitosan as an alternative method to control the disease is necessary due to its biodegradable, biocompatible and non-toxic effect. Chitosan tripolyphosphate (C-TPP) showed higher inhibition to C. gloeosporioides compared with that of low molecular weight (LMW) chitosan as affected by its particle size. The best of disease inhibitory activity was revealed by C-TPP B [0.2% LMW : 0.1% TPP; (5: 2)] and C [0.2% LMW: 0:08% TPP; (5: 1)] treatments based on  in vitro and in vivo test. Because of the concentration of chitosan and TPP may affect to particle structure, hence the C-TPP formation needs further to be optimized so that the size is getting smaller and stable.
