Abstract

Abstrak : Sungai Keremit terletak di Joben Resort, Taman Nasional Gunung Rinjani, Lombok, yang memiliki ketinggian 661m-848m di atas permukaan laut, di sungai Keremit terdapat berbagai jenis tanaman, salah satunya adalah bambu yang tumbuh di sempadan sungai, palung, tebing dan tepi sungai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui spesies bambu, kunci identifikasi, deskripsi, hubungan kekerabatan antar spesies bambu, peta distribusi bambu di sempadan sungai Keremit, Resort Joben, Taman Nasional Gunung Rinjani, Lombok. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode garis, mengumpulkan semua spesies bambu di sepanjang sempadan sungai Keremit yang diambil pada area 50 meter dari tepi kiri dan kanan palung sungai. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi ditemukan 4 marga bambu, dengan 6 spesies dan 1 kultivar (cv), di sempadan sungai Keremit, Resort Joben, Taman Nasional Gunung Rinjani, Lombok, yaitu Schizostachyum jaculans, Gigantochloa atter, Gigantochloa apus, Dendrocalamus sp., Dendrocalamus asper, Bambusa vulgaris, dan 1 kultivar bambu, yaitu Bambusa vulgaris cv. Vittata.Kata kunci : Bambu, Tepi Sungai, Taman Nasional Gunung Rinjani, Lombok.Abstract : Keremit river is located in Joben Resort, Rinjani Mount National Park, Lombok, which has an altitude of 661m-848m above sea level, in the Keremit river there are various types of plants, one of which is bamboo which grows on the edge of the trough, cliffs and river banks. This study aims to determine the species of bamboo, identification keys, description, relationship between bamboo species, bamboos distribution map at the border of the Keremit river, Resort Joben, Rinjani Mount National Park, Lombok. Samples collections were conducted using the line sampling method, collecting all species of bamboo in the border of the Keremit river were taken from the area of 50 meters from the left and right edges of the riverbed. Based on the identification results was 4 genera of bamboos, with 6 species and 1 cultivated variety in the border of Keremit river, Joben Resort, Rinjani Mount National Park, Lombok, namely Schizostachyum jaculans, Gigantochloa atter, Gigantochloa apus, Dendrocalamus sp., Dendrocalamus asper, Bambusa vulgaris, and 1 cultivated variety of bamboo, namely Bambusa vulgaris cv Vittata. Abstract

Pangan lokal ubi jalar memiliki nilai gizi yang tinggi dan harga yang relatif murah. Beragam jenis pangan lokal ubi jalar yang ada belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal. Sejauh ini pengolahan pangan lokal ubi jalar hanya secara sederhana yaitu direbus ataupun digoreng sehingga kurang memberi citarasa dan kurang diminati oleh masyarakat. Akibatnya nilai jual pangan lokal ubi jalar sangat rendah. Kelurahan pejeruk merupakan salah satu kelurahan yang ada di kecamatan Ampenan, lokasinya yang berdekatan dengan pusat kota sehingga sangat potensial untuk dijadikan daerah percontohan untuk pengembanagn industri rumah tangga berbasis pangan lokal ubi jalar yang diharapkan akan dapat menunjang perekonomian keluarga dan sektor pariwisata khususnya wisata kuliner melalui penyediaan oleh-oleh khas pangan lokal ubi jalar. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan nilai jual dan nilai gizi pangan lokal ubi jalar melalui penganekaragaman produk olahan. Meningkatkan kemampuan masyarakat dalam membuat berbagai produk olahan berbahan dasar pangan lokal ubi jalar Metode yang digunakan adalah Focus Group Discuss (FGD) dan praktik langsung di ruangan sejak mulai dari persiapan hingga akhir kegiatan. Kegiatan pelatihan kewirausahan menggunakan pola pembimbingan dimana masyarakat dirangsang untuk membentuk kelompok usaha bersama penganekaragaman olahan pangan lokal ubi jalar berbasis masyarakat. Hasil yang diproleh adalah beragam produk olahan pangan lokal ubi jalar yang dapat digunakan sebagai menu pelengkap gizi keluarga. Peningkatan pendapatan keluarga masyarakat melalui wirausaha penganekaragaman produk olahan pangan lokal ubi jalar.

Abstract

Indonesia has 176 species and 24 genera of bamboos, around 11.5% of the total bamboo species in the world. In Lombok, there were found 6 genera, 15 species and 8 varieties. Bamboo has an important role on the river banks, it can prevent erosion of the river cliffs. The purpose of this study was to identify the species of highland bamboos, at the border of the Trengwilis river, Rinjani Mount National Park, Lombok. This research was conducted by descriptive explorative method, on July - April 2019. The Collecing data was used line sampling methode, with exploring the river border, 50 meters from the left and right edges of riverbed. Data collection in the field was carried out by recording 72 bamboo characters. The results were found eight species of bamboo which were included in five genera, e.g. Bambusa vulgaris Schard., Schizotachyum sp., Dendrocalamus sp. Dendrocalamus asper (Schult) Backer, Gigantochloa sp., Gigantochloa atter (Hassk.) Kurz., that were found at an attitude 623m-660m asl.; Gigantochloa apus (Schult.) Kurz. that grew as long as the Trengwilis riverbed at around atitude 623m-729m asl.; and Dinochloa sp. was found at an atitude 716m asl. Genus Dinochloa was a new record in West Nusa Tenggara Region.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of conservation values in both formal and nonformal education and examines their roles in fostering ecological literacy and sustainability awareness among younger generations. Employing a qualitative descriptive design, the research is based on a systematic literature review of relevant scientific publications from the past decade. The findings reveal that formal education incorporates conservation values through curriculum development, institutional policies, innovative pedagogical strategies, and the use of digital technologies that support sustainability-oriented learning. Meanwhile, nonformal education enhances this integration through nature-based experiential learning, place-based approaches, active community participation, and youth involvement in collaborative environmental initiatives. This multi-pathway integration creates a comprehensive learning ecosystem that facilitates the internalization of ecological values across cognitive, affective, and behavioral dimensions. Furthermore, conservation education significantly contributes to improving environmental understanding, nurturing pro-environmental character, and strengthening youth engagement in sustainable practices. In conclusion, conservation education holds a strategic role in advancing inclusive and quality education, as highlighted in Goal 4 of the Sustainable Development GoalsĀ

Abstract

This study provides the role of area-based management in supporting marine ecosystem recovery and advancing the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 14 (Life Below Water). Marine ecosystems deliver critical ecological and socio-economic services; however, escalating anthropogenic pressure including overfishing, habitat degradation, pollution, and climate change, have led to declining fisheries stocks and reduced ecosystem resilience. Employing a literature review approach with descriptive-analytical methods, this study critically analyzes the implementation, challenges, and effectiveness of ecosystem-based spatial management strategies. The findings reveal that the Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries Management (EAFM) constitutes a comprehensive framework that integrates ecological sustainability, socio-economic considerations, and governance structures. Its operationalization through instruments such as Marine Protected Areas (MPAs), Locally Managed Marine Areas (LMMAs), and Other Effective Area-Based Conservation Measures (OECMs) demonstrates considerable potential in restoring fish biomass, conserving habitats, and strengthening community-based resource management. Nevertheless, significant challenges persist including discrepancies between policy design and field implementation, weak cross-sectoral integration, inadequate monitoring and evaluation systems, low levels of compliance, and limited substantive community participation. Accordingly, this study underscores the importance of adopting integrative, adaptive, and collaborative management strategies. Strengthening ecosystem-based approaches, improving governance frameworks, enhancing stakeholder participation, advancing monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, and incorporating climate resilience are essential to ensure effective marine ecosystem recovery and the sustainability of coastal livelihoods
