Abstract

Along with the development of technology at this time some programmers have found a solution to overcome the problem of storing important files that we worried about before the file security by making several applications that we often refer to as online file storage. Files saved to online file storage are usually document files and image files. However, the problem that arises is the image file has a large size and takes up large storage space and requires a long time in the process of exchanging data. To reduce the size of an image file compression techniques can be used. Compression is a way to compress data so that it only requires a smaller storage space so that it is efficient in storing or shortening time in exchanging information. Compression technique has several algorithms, in this study the authors used the Adaptive Arithmetic Coding algorithm. From the results of the study the authors managed to compress a color image file with jpg extension using the Adaptive Arithmetic Coding algorithm. The application produced in this research is a web designed using Dreamweaver CS5 and php programming language.Keywords: Compression, Adaptive Arithmetic Coding, DreamweaverCS5, PHP.

Abstract

Storage space required by an application is one of the problems on smartphones. This problem can result in a waste of storage space because not all smartphones have a very large storage capacity. One application that has a large file size is the RPUL application and this application is widely accessed by students and the general public. Large file size is what often causes this application can not run effectively on smartphones. One solution that can be used to solve this problem is to compress the application file, so that the size of the storage space needed in the smartphone is much smaller. This study describes how the application of the elias gamma code algorithm as one of the compression technique algorithms to compress the RPUL application database file. This is done so that the RPUL application can run effectively on a smartphone after it is installed. Based on trials conducted on 64 bit of text as samples in this research it was found that compression based on the elias gamma code algorithm is able to compress text from a database file with a ratio of compression is 2 bits, compression ratio is 50% with a redundancy is 50%. Keywords: Compression, RPUL, Smartphone, Elias Gamma Code

Abstract

The size of the audio file can affect the time of sending data to be long and can cause waste of storage space. Therefore, compression is performed to compress the contents of the audio file into smaller ones. One of the compression techniques is lossless technique, which is a compression method where the compressed audio file can be returned to the file before it is compressed without losing information on the previous data. This study uses the Interpolative coding algorithm on mp3 audio files. Interpolative coding algorithm is an innovative way to assign dynamic code to data symbols. This method is different from other compression methods, because the code it provides for individual symbols is not static. The design of this system consists of 2 main processes namely the compression process and the decompression process and the process of calculating the performance of Compression Ratio (CR) and Redundancy. The resulting compression results in a new file with the * .ipc extension containing the compressed bit string which can then be decompressed. Application designed only one form, where in the form there is a process for compression and decompression, while the process of compressing the input file has the extension *. MP3 and produces output with the extension * IPC, and the size of the compressed audio file is smaller than the previous file size .Keywords: Compression, Audio File, Interpolative coding algorithm

Abstract

Poor Student Assistance is very helpful for students to meet the needs in learning activities and in completing the students themselves is very supportive in government programs that have to study nine years (preferably up to the upper secondary level), to help smooth the Poor Student Assistance which is directly to students and this does not aim for students who excel because it considers the condition of students. To find out the pattern of determining poor students' assistance recipients can be done by utilizing student data and poor student aid recipient data. Searching for patterns of determining students who receive aid from poor students is expected to be able to analyze the factors that greatly affect the recipients of poor student assistance. The method in accordance with the above problems using the Description Method, Description is one of the uses of data mining to explore and collect a lot of data. Abstract

Leasing companies are financing equipment or capital goods that are used for the production process of a company, both directly and indirectly. Financing through leasing is a very simple financing in the procedures and implementation and therefore leasing that is used as an alternative payment seems more attractive. As an alternative source of capital financing for companies, especially in the credit analyst section. In credit-worthy consumer decision-making activities, a computer-based system model that can provide data analysis, calculation of criteria for credit applicants, and help processing data into information to make decisions from the semi-structured problem is needed. A decision system (DSS) is the right choice to help select credit applicants. The system is designed with the Elimination and Choice Translating Reality (ELECTRE) method which is one of the multi criteria calculation methods based on the outrangking concept map by using paired comparisons of other alternatives based on each criterion. The data used in this paper are in the form of alternative data samples, criteria data, criteria weight, and suitability rating for each alternative to the criteria.Keywords: ELECTRE, Credit Analyst ,Kredit, Leasing

Abstract

Oil palm plants are plantation crops that are cultivated and require intensive care, oil palm seeds are a major factor in the success of oil palm plantation cultivation. Quality palm oil seedlings will provide satisfactory yields, oil palm seedlings should be obtained with superior seed selection and good maintenance, in nurseries carried out by following the existing stages, oil palm plantations are long-term business and maintenance of oil palm seeds must be be considered and managed with incentives to ensure optimal production and business results in the future. This study aims to determine quality oil palm seeds in PTPN IV Bah Jambi Plantation. In the nursery is carried out by following the existing stage, this research uses Decision Support System (SPK) Profile Matching method. This method can be used to solve semi-structured problems by calculating consistency using the Profile Matching method, if consistent values are generated consistently can be used as a reference for ranking quality oil palm seeds in PTPN IV Bahjambi Plantation. For the results of the research it can be produced that it is easier to recommend oil palm seedlings and be an input to the plantation in recommending the best oil palm seeds.Keywords: Palm oil seeds, Decision Support System, Profile Matching

Abstract

Nowadays the use of information technology as a medium of information exchange is developing very widely. Various types of information such as text, images, sound and video can be converted into digital media that allows it to be reproduced or transmitted through various media. One of them is the internet, through the internet we can easily exchange information with other people in various places. However, there are times when information / messages are confidential, where no other party may know the contents of this information other than the sender and recipient. Then we need a security for the message. Steganography is a technique and art for inserting messages or information in a media, such as text, images, audio or video that aims to avoid suspicion from people who are not entitled. Therefore required a software that can insert or hide confidential information on a media that is video. But in doing the insertion of messages on the video using steganography alone is not necessarily safe, so we need a useful method to improve security because it requires the Chinese Remainder Theorem method. The research objective is to apply the Chinese Remainder Theorem method to insert text messages into video files. This is necessary because it often happens that the text message sent is a secret message that should not be known to just anyone. Chinese Remainder Theorem is a useful method for providing benefits in terms of increased security and low computational complexity.Keywords: Security, Steganography, Video, Chinese remainder Theorem

Abstract

The large amount of data that has been stored in memory or hard disk will result in increasing the amount of usage capacity on the storage media. Large file sizes can also affect the time of sending or transferring data between storage media. Therefore humans conduct a study in order to have alternative ways to overcome these problems, one of them is by means of compression techniques. In this research, an image file compression application program was built using the interpolative coding method. In building applications using Visual Basic.Net software. The construction of this application is expected to reduce storage media capacity usage. Abstract

Image file size is sometimes relatively large where the better the quality of the image produced, the pixel shape needed to record the image is bigger. With a very large image file size, at the time of the transfer process the transfer process could fail because the storage space media exceeds its limit. As for the Solution in this problem is how the image file can be compressed in order to accelerate the transfer and storage of image files. compression on image files is done by reducing the shape of the image file by reducing the bit in the image file, but does not eliminate the information data in it. By running compression, large files will shrink in size so that it can save storage space. In this study, the algorithm used is Subexponential Code, by using this method, the compression results from the k value have different results from each value, and the compression results will be advantageous in sending, and transferring image files will be easier.Keywords: image file compression, subexponential code algorithm

Abstract

CV. MITRA JAYA PERKASA is a company engaged in CCTV installation services where demand for CCTV installation is one of the important factors. Therefore it is very important to know the cctv installation request pattern so that it can adjust to the warehouse stock and the cctv goods linkage. With the help of computers can be used as a solution to the problem, where by building a data mining system which is a knowledge-based computer program that provides solutions to problems and get information from large data warehouses. In this case the company can analyze the cctv installation request pattern using the market basket analysis method. It is expected that this data mining can provide information on the cctv installation request pattern and adjust the warehouse stock. The results of this study are an application that can help analyze the cctv installation request patterns and analyze the relationship of goods using the market basket analysis method.Keywords: Data Mining, Market Basket Analysis, cctv installation request patterns.
