Abstract

The purpose of this study was to design a master plan for the Directorate of Information Systems and Technology, Sumbawa University of Technology (UTS), an educational institution located in Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara Province with an area of 60 hectares, has 32 study programs and has 3,772 active students. Master plan create using the smart campus model adopted from the Garuda Smart City framework. The smart campus model consists of three main models, namely smart people, smart governance, and smart infrastructure, technology and environment. The development of intelligent people includes services to Education Personnel (Tendik), services to teaching staff, and services to students. Meanwhile, smart governance refers to a written document issued officially in the form of a circular letter by the Directorate of Systems and Information Technology. The third model, namely smart infrastructure, technology and environment which includes hardware and software. With the draft master plan for the Directorate of Information Systems and Technology, this is one way to realize good quality, efficient and integrated information technology services for the entire academic community of the Sumbawa University of Technology

Abstract

A web-based academic information system, developed to address the demands of organizations wishing to computerize their educational offerings to improve efficiency, service excellence, competitiveness and the quality of their workforce. The Syarif Kasim Riau Islamic University Animal Husbandry Study Program is one of the universities that has an academic website. This website was launched in 2013 and last updated in 2017, but its quality has never been assessed. This study aims to assess website usability using the System Usability Scale (SUS) test on the Uin Suska Riau Animal Husbandry Research Program website. In this study, usability testing is done by giving tasks to users to complete, and SUS is used to measure user satisfaction with academic websites. Respondents were taken using a random sampling technique with a total of 85 respondents obtained from the slovin formula. In the ranking of adjectives including ok on the class F scale and including unacceptable in the acceptance range category, namely unacceptable websites, the final result is 50.03 according to SUS calculations. The results of this study include 5 recommendations for improvement solutions as a reference for future website development.

Abstract

Coffee is one of the most consumed beverages today. The coffee beans are first sorted by the farmers. This is because there are many types of coffee beans that differ in terms of shape and texture. After sorting, farmers must detect whether the coffee beans are damaged or not. The process is still done manually by coffee farmers so it takes a long time and results in errors due to lack of knowledge about coffee. In addition, efforts are also being made to improve the quality of the coffee beans which will affect the selling value of the coffee beans. Based on these problems, this study aims to design a deep learning model to detect coffee bean damage and evaluate the architecture of ResNet-34 and VGG-16. The classification model built using a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is expected to be able to know a better architecture and be able to detect damaged or normal coffee beans accurately and precisely

Abstract

Alphabet learning educational game is a game that is very popular with children who are new to Alphabet letters. This game uses the process of exchanging the position of the alphabet according to the correct alphabetical order. The problem in this study is the lack of interest in children learning the alphabet quickly, with the game system children who know the alphabet are happier and quickly understand the order of the alphabet. The benefit of this research is to improve the thinking power and creative patterns of children who are new to the alphabet quickly to catch how to memorize the alphabet correctly. This study uses the Ascent Hill Climbing Algorithm. How the Ascent Hill Climbing Algorithm works, namely a. The basic rule that must be done is to move an empty square to the top of the puzzle where if x>1 then (x-1,y) b. The basic rule that must be done is to move the empty square down Puzzle if x<3 then (x+1,y c. The basic rule to be done is to move the empty square to the right Puzzle if x<3 then (x+1,y) d The basic rule that must be done is to move the empty square to the left of the Puzzle if x>1 then (x,y-1). The final result of this study is that it takes 8 iterations to obtain the correct position for compiling the Puzzle so that it matches the goal state order so that the results are finished and terminated.

Abstract

One of the important things in the management of the lecture building is the need for a security system to lock the door. This is necessary to avoid the possibility of theft and negligence in opening or closing the door at certain hours. The purpose of this study is to implement an Internet of Things-based door security control and monitoring system using a mobile device. This system is a substitute for door security that uses conventional locks. The system can be accessed by setting the operating time from 07.00-17.00. If there is a change in operational time, the admin can reset the operational time. Before the operating time ends, the speaker gives an automatic door lock warning, and the door is automatically locked and cannot be accessed. In addition, the system is equipped with a door alarm using a buzzer and a notification is sent via the application when the door is forcibly opened. The door control process starts by reading the operating time and the status of the door lock solenoid. If the initial status of the door lock solenoid is locked, the RFID tag sends data to the RFID reader, then the door lock solenoid opens. The test results show that the response time for opening and locking doors using RFID is 26,22 seconds and 22,25 seconds. The response time to open and lock the door using the application is 5,03 seconds and 5,34 seconds, respectively. The average response time when the door is forcibly opened is 14,83 seconds

Abstract

Borderline Personality Disorder is a type of personality disorder characterized by an overall unstable personality pattern, excessive impulsivity, which often confuses sufferers with their own identity. An expert system is a system developed to assist in making decisions on a particular problem. This expert system aims to help screen symptoms of borderline personality disorder and provide solutions to relieve these symptoms. The method used by the expert system is the certainty factor. The expert system development stage uses the waterfall method and uses the PHP programming language. The results of this study are in the form of an accuracy value of 80% with test data of 10 people, these results are obtained by comparing the results of experts with the results of the system that has been designed

Abstract

The Riau Ministry of Health Poltekkes is a vocational tertiary institution in the Riau province health sector that has implemented a Student Academic Information System (SIAM) that supports management in the academic section, as well as a means of information and communication. But in its implementation there are still some problems, for example errors in several menus in SIAM, there is no interaction between admin staff and students as SIAM users, features that are not yet optimal in SIAM, and information on SIAM is not updated. This study aims to determine the level of student acceptance of SIAM Poltekkes Riau Ministry of Health using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Webqual methods and provide recommendations for problems that arise. Respondents in this study were 93 active students and used SEM-PLS for data processing. From the output of the analysis, it can be stated that the level of student acceptance of SIAM is good, which has a value of 13.374. This is because SIAM is easy to use, makes it easier for students to find academic information, the information is quite detailed and easy to understand, and students feel that using SIAM is the right and wise idea so that students have an interest in using SIAM. The recommendations proposed are, fixing errors in the source code so as to make SIAM easy to access and use for students. intention and interest in student behavior to use SIAM and provide encouragement so that students always use SIAM

Abstract

Data outlier is data that is different from a group of data in a dataset. Data outlier will have an impact on the refraction of data analysis results, if not handled properly. Various approaches can be taken to detect data outlier, one of which is through the clustering method (grouping data). DBSCAN (Density-Based Spatial Clustering of Application with Noise) is a clustering method that is able to find data outlier in a data set. DBSCAN works by determining clusters based on data density, using the parameters epsilon (range) and MinPts (minimum points to form a cluster). This study aims to test several DBSCAN models that have different epsilon and MinPts parameters. The model used consists of 3 models, with details: Model 1 (eps=0,2, MinPts=5), Model 2 (eps=0,3, MinPts=5) and Model 3 (eps=0,4, MinPts =5). The dataset used is a dataset generated through the paint data feature on the Orange Data Mining tool, with 2 variables (x and y), with a total of 1051 data lines of records. The results obtained are that all the tested models found that there is 1 data point that is considered an outlier, namely the data is worth x = 0.370007 and y = 0.410475. In addition, from this research, it can also be concluded that the epsilon value affects the number of clusters formed. The higher the epsilo value, the smaller the number of clusters that may be formed

Abstract

Marketplace is expected to be a solution in streamlining activities between sellers and buyers. Information systems that discuss distribution and sales among batik craftsmen are very rare. Especially information systems regarding the distribution and sale of products from batik craftsmen, the development of information is very minimal in the current era of technology and information. The purpose of the dodolan application Marketplace is a location for buying and selling products where sellers and buyers meet in a place or referred to as an electronic market. By using this system, the craftsmen can inform the results to outsiders quickly through the marketplace concept which will be built using the Business to Business (B2B) concept. Based on the observations of batik artisans in the Trusmi area, the marketing and sales system still uses the conventional one where the craftsmen sell their products to the showroom of their handicrafts, so that the selling price obtained by batik craftsmen is relatively cheaper. In addition, the conventional buying and selling marketing system is considered less effective from the point of view of time because it has to send goods to a shoroom that is quite far away. The result of making the "Dodolan" Mobile Commerce application is to break the sales chain from craftsmen to batik showroom sellers. So that batik craftsmen do not need to sell their results to batik sellers' sorum, with the intention that craftsmen can get greater profits. This Android-based batik "Dodolan" Mobile Commerce application can carry out the buying and selling process that can be accessed by buyers and admins. Buyers can process purchases, while admins can process purchase transactions and can also sell products
