Abstract

Currently, the governance process at the UTS Faculty of Engineering is still using a semi-digital system. Based on this, the researchers built a digital governance process management information system in the form of monitoring lecturer evaluations, judicial registration, general administration related to correspondence, and accreditation forms. The research method used is a qualitative method and a System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a Rapid Application Development (RAD) model as a software development method. Programming Language in making this management information system with PHP programming language which is implemented in CodeIgniter framework and MySQL database. At the end of making this information system tested using the black-box method. With this Management Information System (SIM) it can help and facilitate the management of the Faculty of Engineering in carrying out general and academic administration governance for the better. In addition, it can assist lecturers and students in completing the general administrative process related to the preparation of reports and the burden of lecturer performance as well as judicial registration for students who have completed their final assignments effectively.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to design a master plan for the Directorate of Information Systems and Technology, Sumbawa University of Technology (UTS), an educational institution located in Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara Province with an area of 60 hectares, has 32 study programs and has 3,772 active students. Master plan create using the smart campus model adopted from the Garuda Smart City framework. The smart campus model consists of three main models, namely smart people, smart governance, and smart infrastructure, technology and environment. The development of intelligent people includes services to Education Personnel (Tendik), services to teaching staff, and services to students. Meanwhile, smart governance refers to a written document issued officially in the form of a circular letter by the Directorate of Systems and Information Technology. The third model, namely smart infrastructure, technology and environment which includes hardware and software. With the draft master plan for the Directorate of Information Systems and Technology, this is one way to realize good quality, efficient and integrated information technology services for the entire academic community of the Sumbawa University of Technology

Abstract

The Android-based Sumbawa Early Childhood Education Game was successfully built using Adobe Illustrator for graphic design, Unity for the game engine, and Visual Study Code as a text editor. This educational game has two main menus, namely the learning menu with nine sub-category menus and the second main menu, namely the quiz menu. Games that are designed with attractive images and interactive audio are built using prototype software development methods and application testing using black boxes. Based on the results of application testing, all the features contained in the application run well and according to their functions. Interactive applications such as educational games are a means that can be optimized to improve children's motor development. Thus, this Sumbawa Indonesian learning educational game can be a means for parents to introduce Sumbawa language to children and become an interactive learning tool for teachers to students at school. Therefore, having an Android-based Sumbawa Indonesian educational game for early childhood is one way to introduce and preserve the local language

Abstract

Dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pengajaran, seorang pendidik dituntut agar dapat membuat media pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik dan pendidik sendiri merasa nyaman dalam menjalankan pengajaran guna mewujudkan tujuan pembelajaran dengan baik. Salah satu jenis media pembelajaran adalah video pembelajaran yang dibuat menggunakan Canva yang dapat diakses oleh guru menggunakan email belajar.id sehingga semua fiture dapat diakses secara gratis. Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan pada SDN Kokarpit dan SDN Lekong guru masih kesulitan membuat video pembelajaran dan belum mengenal Canva. Oleh karena itu, adanya permintaan kerjasama antara Fakultas Rekayasa Sistem Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa dengan kedua SDN tersebut dalam program pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa pendampingan pembuatan video pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Canva. Peserta dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 16 guru dari SDN Kokarpit dan SDN Lekong dan terdiri dari 7 dosen pendamping. Pendampingan dalam pembuatan video media pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan ceramah, demonstrasi serta adanya latihan yang disertai tanya jawab. Kegiatan pendampingan dievaluasi menggunakan model evaluasi Kirkpatrick dengan indikator reaction, learning, behaviour dan result, hasil evaluasi menunjukkan skor 89,71% yang menunjukkan peserta sangat puas dengan kegiatan pelatihan. Selain itu, berdasarkan hasil pre test dan post test menujukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pemahaman pemahaman peserta membuat video media pembelajaran serta adanya peningkatan jumlah video media pembelajaran peserta setelah sebulan mengikuti pelatihan

Abstract

This research aims to introduce Sumbawa culture to blind disability based android smartphone applications that can utilize feature reader screens and barcodes on objects historical. Output from application This is information in the form of audio details of cultural sites in the Inner Palace Loka, Bala Kuning Palace, Bala Puti Palace, Bala Datu Ranga, and the Sumbawa Museum. This research is quantitative method with build uses waterfall method and design with UML models with test six aspect appropriateness to application. The resulting average value for the attractiveness p ax is 1.90 and the average score for as a perspicuity peak of 1.77. Third aspect from UEQ, efficiency value with an average of 1.61 and dependability aspects with value 1.55. Whereas the stimulation aspect on the UEQ model is 1.49 and the novelty aspect with the average value is 1.39. From testing aspect perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation and novelty show quality application are excellent. Whereas the attractiveness aspect generates very good value. Application literacy culture for blind disability is something effort in preserving culture and can be accessible on google play store.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) ini adalah untuk meningkatkan akses informasi dan pengelolaan sumber daya desa di Desa Semamung. Desa Semamung saat ini masih menggunakan sistem manual dalam pengumpulan dan distribusi informasi, yang menyebabkan banyak permasalahan, terutama terkait dengan publikasi potensi sumber daya desa yang belum terpublikasi dan ketidakmampuan untuk mengetahui informasi tentang aset desa. Implementasi sistem informasi desa mungkin menghadapi kendala teknis, seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur IT, koneksi internet yang tidak stabil, atau kekurangan pengetahuan dan keterampilan teknis di kalangan warga desa. Hal ini dapat mempengaruhi keberhasilan dan penerimaan sistem informasi desa yang dikembangkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, dan implementasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan sistem informasi desa dapat mengatasi permasalahan yang ada dan Sistem informasi desa membantu dalam pengelolaan data aset desa. Data mengenai tanah, infrastruktur, keuangan desa, dan aset lainnya dapat dikumpulkan, dikelola, dan diperbarui secara efisien melalui sistem ini. Hal ini memungkinkan transparansi dan akurasi yang lebih baik dalam pengelolaan aset desa. Akses informasi yang mudah bagi warga desa: Sistem informasi desa memberikan akses informasi yang mudah bagi warga desa. Melalui sistem ini, warga desa dapat mengakses informasi terkini mengenai kegiatan desa, pelayanan publik, peraturan desa, dan hal-hal lain yang relevan. Hal ini memungkinkan peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pembangunan dan pengelolaan desa.. Sistem informasi desa yang dibangun mencakup, publikasi potensi sumber daya desa, pengelolaan data aset desa, dan akses informasi yang mudah bagi warga desa. Penelitian ini memberikan manfaat penting bagi Desa Semamung dalam meningkatkan akses informasi dan pengelolaan sumber daya desa. Diharapkan sistem informasi desa ini dapat digunakan sebagai acuan bagi desa-desa lain dalam mengadopsi teknologi informasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dan pengembangan desa.

Abstract

The dictionary is one of the solutions for learning about vocabulary and translating it. The use of dictionaries in the form of books is less effective and efficient, so it is necessary to develop electronic dictionaries in the form of dictionary applications available on smartphones. This study aims to develop an Android-based three-language dictionary application, namely Bima, Indonesian, and English, which includes a speech to text  feature. The software development method uses the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. This method has four main stages: requirements planning, design, construction, and cutover. Data collection methods in this research include observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis of data resulting from observations, interviews, and literature studies. The application was built using the Flutter and Codeigniter frameworks. In the final stage of dictionary application development, testing was carried out on the application's functionality using the black box method. The results of the test show that the application runs very well; all buttons and features work as they should after fixing bugs and problems found in the final test before launch.

Abstract

This research aims to design and build a tourism system in Sumbawa Regency. In this research is using a qualitative approach that used model of rapid application development (RAD) for system development life circle (SDLC) method. Overall the first stage is system planning, next stage is analyzing tourism data and information that would be presented on web and android technology based. In addition, for users interface display is the attractive database design. The final stage is coding the system and produce a prototype for the implementation which is presenting on the web pages and google play store for android smartphones. The system presented could be used for evaluation, monitoring and facilitating of tourism transaction and promotion processes in Sumbawa Regency.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Desa (SID) awalnya bernama SIDESA, adalah aplikasi berbasis Open Source (Open Sid 1811) dirancang untuk mendukung pemerintahan desa dalam pengelolaan dan dokumentasi data desa. Keterhubungan aplikasi ini dengan data demografis yang disimpan oleh Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil, termasuk Nomor Induk Kependudukan (NIK) dan Nomor Kepala Keluarga (KK), sangat baik dalam meningkatkan efisiensi pelayanan publik. Menyikapi keterbatasan penerapan teknologi di desa dan kelurahan saat ini, banyak lokasi masih mengandalkan prosedur manual yang membebani masyarakat dalam mengakses layanan. Sebagai solusi, metode pengabdian masyarakat seperti Open Sid atau Meraja Sev diadopsi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik di desa dan kelurahan. Partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengembangan dan pemeliharaan SID dan kontribusi mereka dalam pembaruan data dan pengawasan sistem memainkan peran penting dalam penguatan tata kelola publik dan pembuatan keputusan yang inklusif. Di era digital saat ini, internet menjadi prasyarat dalam menyediakan pelayanan publik. Namun, di Desa Tatede, sistem manual masih mendominasi, menyebabkan tantangan terkait akses informasi tentang potensi sumber daya desa dan data asset yang belum dipublikasikan. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat, kami akan mengedukasi masyarakat tentang Sistem Informasi Desa berbasis web, yang memudahkan aparatur desa dalam pendataan dan penyebaran informasi desa.
