Abstract

AbstractConditions of air temperature and air humidity as well as  feeding for cats are some of the important elements difficult to monitor by cat keepers when they are not home. As a result, the cats’ feeding pattern and room conditions are not properly maintained. In this research, a system named smart cat room was built to monitor and control the air temperature, air humidity, food residue, and the amount of cat food. The types of cats in this research were Maine Coon, Bengal, and Persian. With this system, users can monitor and control the smart cat room through an Android-based application. The result of the testing of the smart cat room system had an average air temperature value for Maine Coon cats of 25.31°C and an air humidity value of Maine Coon cats is 62.90%. Average air temperature value for Bengal cats is 27.49°C and the air humidity value of Bengal cats is 62.33%. The average value of air temperature for Persian cats is 22.17°C and the air humidity value of Persia cats is 59.05%. According to the results, the smart cat room system shows that the average value of air temperature, air humidity are as according to the standards, with the cats’ skin and fur conditions inside the smart cat room well-maintained. Feeding can also be done at the right time and weight according to the type of cat in the Smart Cat Room

Abstract

Ledimart is a mini market that sells daily necessities. Ledimart is located in Pangkalan Kerinci District, Pelalawan Regency, Riau. The problem faced by the Ledimart minimarket is that this minimarket does not know when is the right time to carry out a promotion. To overcome these problems, this study conducted Association Rule Mining (ARM), in order to find out the relationship between the time of purchase and the goods purchased. The ARM algorithm used is the FP-Growth Algorithm. Based on the experimental results in December 2021, 6 rules were obtained, in January 2022, 6 rules were obtained, and in Ramadan 2022, 12 rules were obtained. By knowing this pattern, it is hoped that it can help Ledimart know when it is the right time to carry out promotions

Abstract

This research aims to build an Android application that uses Augmented Reality (AR) technology as a learning aid about the Solar System. The teaching methods currently used in grade 6 are considered less effective by many students because they use only explanatory theory textbooks and few simple media for practice. Therefore, this AR application is designed to blend virtual objects with physical objects naturally through a computerized process, so that it looks as if the virtual object is actually in front of the user and looks real. The purpose of this research is to develop an AR application that can increase the effectiveness of Solar System learning by providing students with an immersive visual experience. The development method used in this study is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). Application testing is carried out using Black Box Testing to ensure that all application features can run properly according to their functions. The pre-test results showed an average of 57, while the post-test results showed a significant increase with an average of 88. This shows that the use of AR applications in Solar System learning can significantly improve students' understanding. Thus, this AR application is considered an effective and efficient learning medium and is very interesting for users to use as a learning tool. The use of AR technology in learning can provide interactive and immersive learning experiences, increasing students' interest and understanding of the Solar System

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology makes easier for human accessing and exchanging information through digital media like websites. Since 2019, Badan Pengelola Usaha Universitas Sriwijaya started developing student dormitories booking system, namely Fitur Asrama Mahasiswa. This system can be accessed by Sriwijaya University students via bpu.unsri.ac.id. The types of dormitories shown in this feature consist of apartments, flats, and government dormitories. Based on interviews, it was stated that users still had difficulty accessing Fitur Asrama Mahasiswa, especially in user interface and user experience, so it was necessary to improve interface design with aim of making it easier for users to find information and book dorm room. Design improvement of Fitur Asrama Mahasiswa bpu.unsri.ac.id interface carried out through design process usingUser Centered Design (UCD) approach, so thataccommodate user needs. Design process begins with commitment from bpu unsri to involve users in design process through discussion. Then, determine the context of use through interviews, determine user needs and organizational needs through usability testing and interviews, interface designs based on user needs, and evaluate designsthrough usability testing. Using the UCD approach proven that system usability increased which consists of four parameters, namely success rate, efficiency, error rate, and satisfaction. Success rate increased from 52.86% to 94.76%. Efficiency increased from 45.12% to 96.05%. The error rate decreased from 50.12% to 3.69&. Satisfaction increased from 32.5 to 87.33

Abstract

Online transportation is an innovation in emerging technology to solve various problems that arise in conventional public transportation such as in the ease of ordering, availability, and digitization of payments. Maxim is an online transportation company that has been operating since 2018 in Indonesia. As the number of users of the maxim application increases, demands for the quality of application service also increase. In the Google Play Store, reviews and information about an app are stored in text form. One of the processes of extracting text mining information in the text category is Sentiment Analysis to see the tendency of a sentiment or opinion whether it is positive, neutral, or negative at the Maxim application user reviews. The sentiment classification process using the K-NN algorithm produces accuracy, precision, and recall of 90.23%; 90.23%; and a recall value of 72.38% with an experiment using 90% training data, 10% test data, and a value of k = 5.

Abstract

Grape vines are plants that can grow well in lowland areas, especially coastal areas. The very hot weather climate is an inhibiting factor in the growth of grape vines. So it is necessary to help greenhouse media technology with the application of the Internet of Things (IoT) to create the desired conditions in an effort to protect plants as well as temperature and humidity conditions that can attack grape plants, adjusting the parameters needed. Vine testing parameters include air temperature, air humidity and soil moisture. In the system that has been created, the system will monitor the conditions of air temperature, air humidity and soil moisture. In addition, the system will manually and automatically control the fan, mist maker and pump according to predetermined values. The results of the sensor test show an accuracy for air temperature of 95.36%. The result of the test for air humidity is 88.67%. The result of the capacitive soil moisture sensor test for soil moisture is 99.85%.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi berkembang sangat cepat menyebabkan banyak aplikasi yang dibuat untuk memudahkan pekerjaan manusia. Berbagai bidang memanfaatkan pengolahan citra digital yang digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari hari seperti aplikasi pendeteksi buah untuk menentukan jenis kandungan yang terdapat dalam sebuah buah, aplikasi mendeteksi objek menggunakan kamera smartphone. Teknologi tersebut merupakan salah satu bidang dari computer vision yang memanfaatkan teknologi kamera. Dengan adanya teknologi pada bidang pengolahan citra (image processing) maka objek apapun dapat dideteksi dalam bentuk digital yang akan diolah dan akan didapatkan informasi dari objek yang dideteksi. Pada laporan Skripsi ini, akan diteliti tentang pengolahan citra digital khususnya dalam bidang pengenalan pola untuk menganalisa judul yang terdapat dalam cover BUKU secara realtime. Dengan aplikasi ini maka teknologi tersebut dapat melihat Synopsis beserta informasi melalui covernya saja tanpa harus membaca keseluruhan isi buku tersebut. Penelitian ini akan memanfaatkan kamera smartphone yang digunakan untuk mendeteksi objek yang dikhususkan hanya pada cover BUKU untuk melihat isi atau Synopsis berdasarkan cover yang dideteksi.

Abstract

The quality of sapodilla fruit is a crucial factor in ensuring product standards and consumer satisfaction. This study aims to detect the quality of sapodilla fruit using the Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM) method for texture feature extraction and Support Vector Machine (SVM) as the classification algorithm. A dataset of sapodilla fruit images was collected and processed using data augmentation techniques to enhance image variation. Extracted features, including contrast, homogeneity, energy, and correlation, were used as input for the SVM model. The model was developed using a train-test split approach and evaluated based on accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. Experimental results show that the proposed method successfully classifies sapodilla fruit into three categories—raw, ripe, and damaged—with an accuracy of 85%. This model was implemented in a MATLAB-based Graphical User Interface (GUI), enabling users to automatically classify sapodilla quality easily and efficiently.

Abstract

Hearing impairment was considered a significant barrier to understanding verbal communication. Therefore, an alternative communication medium in the form of sign language was required to bridge interactions between Deaf and hearing individuals. One of the sign languages used in Indonesia was the Indonesian Sign Language (BISINDO). The advancement of deep learning technology provided a great opportunity to develop an effective and accurate BISINDO alphabet classification system. This research was conducted to evaluate and compare the performance of two Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architectures, namely ResNet50 and MobileNetV2, in classifying BISINDO alphabet images consisting of 26 classes from A to Z. Model training wa carried out over 100 epochs and was analyzed using metrics such as training and validation accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and confusion matrix. The training process used a dataset that was divided into 80% training data and 20% validation data, and include image preprocessing steps such as resizing and rescaling. The evaluation results showed that ResNet50 achieved 86.42% training accuracy and 98.64% validation accuracy with 98.80% precision, 98.69% recall, 98.57% F1-score, and 31 misclassifications. In contrast, MobileNetV2 showed superior performance with 99.99% training accuracy, 99.65% validation accuracy, 99.69% precision, 99.65% recall, 99.61% F1-score, and only 8 misclassifications. Based on these results, MobileNetV2 was recommended as a more effective and efficient architecture for BISINDO alphabet image classification compared to ResNet50.

Abstract

Router adalah perangkat yang digunakan untuk menghubungkan beberapa komputer untuk berkoneksi dengan internet. Dengan menggunakan router maka akses ke LAN bisa lebih mudah. Tingginya kebutuhan untuk menggunakan internet membuat pengoperasian router sangat tinggi dalam waktu yang lama. Keadaan ini membuat kondisi mesin menjadi turun dan mudah mengalami kerusakan. Router wifi merupakan salah satu mesin yang kompleks dan saling berhubungan satu sama lain, sehingga perlu penanganan ahli dalam memperbaikinya. Sistem pakar merupakan sistem yang berbasis komputer yang mengadopsi cara kerja pakar dalam menganalisa suatu masalah dengan metode yang telah disesuaikan dengan masalah yang ada. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk mendiagnosa kerusakan pada router wifi dengan menggunakan metode Dempster-Shafer untuk menganalisa dan memberikan solusi untuk memperbaiki router wifi tersebut. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sistem dapat mendiagnosa kerusakan pada router menggunakan sistem pakar dengan metode Dempster-Shafer dengan tingkat kepastian yang akurat.
