Abstract

The Area of Southern part of Pati Basin located in, Jepara Regencyt, Central Java Province was a frontier area. Because of that will held a further research to know about geological condition at this area especially about the subsurface structure geology. In this area expand some phenomena of Quaternary Geology such a fault, earthquake and volcanism, with active and re-activated activities. The regional structure influences on forming the smaller faults and volcanism Quaternary. The faults are Tayu Regional Fault (L-1) with northwest - southeast direction, Rahtawu Fault (L-2) with north – south direction, and Jepara and Bangsri Fault (L-3) with southwest – norteast directions. This regional structure experience the reactivated, and cross the bedrock. The product of this process is magma came out from the crust and formed the volcanism.Based on result of geomagnet interpretation record on territorial waters of Muria Peninsula (Pati’s Bain South’s part) show the existence of breaking structure at Trajectory L-1,L2 and L-3. Predicted by the fault structure is effect from continuity of structures which there are in land

Abstract

Regional structure of West Java influenced by interaction of subduction between India-Australia plate with Eurasia plate. Effect of this subduction, in West Java expand some fault structure which devide to 4 faults, that is north-south faults, northwest-southeast faults, and northeast-southwest faults.Fault of North-South which devide into Sunda Pattern, is representing oldest fault and forming of Paleogen Basin in West Java. Stress system of Sunda Pattern is influenced by transtensional tectonic and as a whole form structure pattern of negative structure flower.Change of tectonics in West Java take place at Plio-Plistosen period. At that moment system of stress influenced by tectonic compression yielding fold structure of wast-east thrust-fault (Java Pattern). At same tectonic period, formed a number of northwest-southwest strike-slip fault (Sumatera Pattern) and northeast-southwest strike-slip fault (Meratus Pattern).

Abstract

Foraminifera analysis taken from 18 surface sample from sandstone unit and siltstone unit, Kali Bentur section, Ngawenan area, Blora.According quantitative analysis, foraminifera assemblages consist of 39 species (218.128 individu) planktonic and 53 species (16.384 individu) bentic , with abundance of Globigerinoides trilobus imaturus, Globigerinoides trilobus trilobus, Globoquadrina altispira, Globoquadrina dehiscens, Orbulina universa, Globorotalia menardii and Bolivina, Batisiphon, Cibicides, Robulus, Planulina, Uvigerina dan StilostomelaForaminifera planktonic distribution indicated tropical zone, warm water(24oC - 28oC ) salinity 34-36 ppm, and based on bentic foraminifera, there were paleoenvironment change that more deep from sandstone unit to silt unit.

Abstract

Fuel needs that keeps on increasing in Makasar can not be fullfilled by the Makasar installation, therefore it is necessary to built Bau-Bau Transit Terminal in Southeast Sulawesi Province. The construction will raise effects towards environment. Hence the needs of EIA study is very crucial to minimize all the effects that will appear in the future to support sustainable development.

Abstract

Geological structure of Muara Tebo area was influenced by subduction between Eurasian and India-Australian Plates. Regional tectonic of this area dominantly yield an amount of fault structure with orientation Northwest-Southeast.Structural pattern of study area dominated by dextral strike-slip and thrust fault, with orientation Northwest-Southeast. The dextral strike-slip fault represent the first structure formed (Early Tertiary) which influenced by transtensional stress. Further, on Neogene Tectonic period the structures influenced by tranversional stress system which affecting inversion. This late tectonic yield an amount of thrust fault.

Abstract

Area of Cianjur Regency is represent the part of west Indonesian tectonic. Regional of west Indonesian tectonics is influenced by two plate, that is Indo-Australa and Eurasia, with plate boundary characteristic is Java Trench at south Java. Regional of Cianjur Regency have potency of geological hazard which need to attention from possibility of tsunami in south coast Java, until possibility of volcano eruption (Mt. Gede) in north region. Early warning system is required to various geology disaster referring to various project or activity which have developed or will expand.
