Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui simbol sosial, budaya dan ideologi yang terkandung dalam film Apa Itu Islam. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi semiotika Roland Barthes, hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa pesan komunikasi pada setiap adegan film merepresentasikan radikalisme dan toleransi. Radikalisme dibangun pada beberapa adegan seperti (1) tindakan sekelompok ormas islam melawan aparat keamanan melakukan perusakan fasilitas negara (2) konvoi jamaah habib di jalan raya yang membuat nuansa jalan macet dan mencekam (3) aksi yang tidak menginginkan kegiatan yang dibiayai oleh Amerika karena dinilai sebagai zionis dan musuh Islam. Sedangkan simbol sosial, budaya dan ideologi yang merepresentasikan toleransi yang dibangun dalam film Apa Itu Islam terdapat pada tujuh adegan diantaranya (1) seorang anak bersedih adanya bentuk batasan pertemanan sesuai agama dan tidak adanya toleransi dalam beragama (2) pemahaman anak kecil terhadap doktrin yang diberikan ustadnya mengenai agama yang masuk surga (3) tanaman padi yang menjadi kebutuhan manusia secara jasmani dan agama adalah kebutuhan manusia secara rohani.

Abstract

Political education is one of the important factors in determining the attitude of a voter in the conduct of elections. Beginner voters with low levels of political education tend to have voices that are still floating or called swing-voters. If it is not able to be convinced, the swing-voter can become a golput, but if it can be convinced, the swing-voter can be an additional vote for a candidate or party in the final result of the vote count. The phenomenon of political apathy can be reduced by providing political education to beginner voters, one of the methods is through interpersonal communication. The exchange of values ??that form the basis of interpersonal communication can also occur in the family. This study aims to determine how the role of interpersonal communication in the process of early voter political education. Using the interpretative paradigm and descriptive qualitative research methods, by conducting observations, interviews and documentation studies. The unit of analysis under study is individuals, namely beginner voters at Pramuka Island, Thousand Islands, DKI Jakarta Province. The results of the study show that the role of interpersonal communication in the process of political voter education at Pramuka Island is to conduct discussions, exchange information about politics, and conduct political socialization, this will affect the process of political voter education and political participation in the 2019 Election. Abstract

Power relations reveal hidden things that occur in the Works process between agents in Social practice related to media political economy practices. Media competition requires agents (workers) to compete with innovation and more creatively giving birth to program that are able to attract a large audience. So editors become depressed in producing a program content. Every agents in television media conducts Social practices to channel the relationship between relations which directly or indirectly, or equal or not equal, this indicates the existence of Power. The Research has conducted in the critical paradigma domain, with the Robert K Yin case Study method, where the The of Research was explanatory study regarding the Power relations between manajerial teams and editor Liputan 6 Pagi teams using the theory of Foucault’s Discourse of Power and Knowledge. The Result showed that there were elementer of combination of dominance Power relations and unequal govermentality of Power. Abstract

This study examines the Political News Analysis of the Sovereignty of the People's Sovereignty on Eradicating Corruption as the Independence of the Mass Media in Proclaiming the Performance of the Jokowi-JK Government which focuses on 1 year of its administration (20 October 2014 October 20 2015). This research is based on two things, namely: first, how is the analysis of the political news regarding Corruption Eradication in the local mass media (Kedaulatan Rakyat) in reporting on the performance of the Jokowi-JK government; second, how the independence of the local mass media in reporting on the performance of the Jokowi-JK government in the area of ??corruption eradication. Media independence is seen from the method of Qualitative Approach with Critical Paradigm namely Critical Discourse Analysis; using Teun A. van Dijk's Model Analysis of text production involving aspects of cognition and social context. The production of text in the political news regarding the Eradication of Corruption in Judging the Performance of the Jokowi-JK Government presented by the Kedaulatan Rakyat SKH is a strong text structure. The Kedaulatan Rakyat Daily Newspaper is able to provide detailed Semantic Structure and more coherent relationships between words / sentences. In addition, the Kedaulatan Rakyat Daily Newspaper minimizes graphics and metaphor as rhetorical elements so as to be able to present more real and factual news. starting from text, social cognition and social context. The news on SKH Kedaulatan Rakyat is able to present the factual news objectivity in accordance with the truth and relevance. Not only that, the objectivity of the news about justice is able to be fulfilled by the People's Sovereignty SKH by presenting balanced news and explaining it more neutral without the support of the mass media. Abstract

The existence of radio segmented by women makes new hope for women's public space to form a positive image for women. Through the Santai Siang di Woman Radio program the formation of a positive image of women was developed in the presence of various different topics that were presented to support women's independence in the process of forming a positive image of women in the community. Researching the Sanatai Siang Thursday Financial Edition program program by discussing regulating family finances. Using feminist discourse analysis in the Santai Siang program. The research approach is a qualitative descriptive method developed by Sara Mills, which is also often called critical discourse analysis with a 'feminist' perspective. The results showed that Woman Radio in the Santai Siang program tried to position women into a positive image, women emerged as not inferior to men, but in the domestic sector women still carried out their responsibilities to carry out their roles as working mothers, housewives and wife. Abstract

Crowdfunding is a new method in fundraising activities based online. Moreover, the level of penetration of social media to the community is increasingly high. This makes social activists and academics realize that it is important to study social media communication strategies in crowdfunding activities. There is encouragement to provide an overview of crowdfunding activities. So the author conducted a research on "Crowdfunding Communication Strategy Through Kolase.com Through Case Study on the #BikinNyata Program Through the Kolase.com Website that successfully achieved the target. Abstract

The appearance of @lambe_turah pampers Indonesian people who want to know about the news of their idol artists. From the news delivered in the @lambe_turah account, a lot of it pops up in the comments feature of fans of the artist (loper) and those who don't like the artist (haters). The nitizen comments on the @lambe_turah account lead to negative sentiments, not infrequently using harsh words, provocations, even to the point of using the word sarcasm to thuggery in his comments. This study uses the constructivism paradigm. The nature of this research is descriptive, with a qualitative research approach. Research methods use phenomenology. The theories used in this study are phenomenology theory, constructivism theory and symbolic interaction theory. The results of this study are that there is thuggery in the use of captions which can controversially provoke nitizen comments. The negative comments from the frontiers that lead to the emergence of pramanism on Instagram with the use of harsh and frontal language words resulted in the emergence of thuggery on Instagram. Social media thuggery is displayed in a verbal form, namely the word contained. Social media thuggery happens not because it is intentional, like bullying and ridiculing each other on social media, when there is an argument on social media in the form of discussion or status war in comments, even though there is no physical violence but the social media war can be legal, if one party feels disadvantaged. keywords: Phenomenon, Instagram, Thuggery, Lambe Turah

This study seeks to implement appropriate production management in the production of "Kita Indonesia" public service advertising produced by the broadcasting study program of the University of Bina Sarana Informatika communicating with the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. In this production special production theories are applied that are in accordance with the concept of production of public service advertising.
