Silogisme : Kajian Ilmu Matematika dan Pembelajarannya, adalah sebuah jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo (Unmuh Ponorogo) bekerjasama dengan Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. Diterbitkan dua kali dalam setahun (Juni dan Desember), berisikan enam sampai sepuluh artikel dan menerima artikel di bidang kajian ilmu matematika (pendidikan dan murni) dengan metodologi penelitian yang memenuhi standar yang ditetapkan untuk publikasi. Naskah artikel bisa berasal dari para peneliti, akademisi, praktisi, dan pemerhati bidang ilmu matematika.

Abstract

In this paper, we discuss about monoton sequences of self-adjoint operator which bounded. By considering the commutative properties of positive operator, we prove this sequence convergence to a self-adjoint operator. Abstract

This research kind is a research and development. The purpose of this research is to produce module statistical material based PMR-approach for Class XI student of SMK valid, practical, and effective. The developmental research refers to the model ADDIE with the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The field testing subjects is 15 students of class XI of SMK Brawijaya Ponorogo. The data were collected using an sheet module validation, achievement test and questionnaire practicality. The data were analyzed using the analysis of the mean scores and descriptive statistics. The results of this research are summarized valid module with revision. The module is said to be effective based on the results of tests on 15 students with the result that students who meet the criteria of the increase amounted to 86.67%. Modules are also said to be practically based questionnaire practicality filled teacher then analyzed and obtained a mean score of 4.60 or on the criteria very well.Keywords: module, PMR, statistical

Abstract

This paper examines the Partial Differential Equations (PDP) Homogeneous Diffusions on the interval , with Dirichlet and Neumann boundary conditions. Research done by understanding in advance of the general form of differential equations homogeneous diffusions without boundary conditions and find solutions completion. Once the research is done by introducing a common form PDP Diffusions Homogeneous with Dirichlet and Neumann boundary conditions and their completion. In this paper also included examples of the application of PDP Heat homogeneous for both types of the boundary conditions and the analysis.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the 8th grader students’ mistake while working on algebra, the causes of the mistake, and the appropriate process of scaffolding to help the student realize his mistake. The researcher gave the test about algebra to all students on class A and class B to select the subject. After the subjects’ answers were analyzed, they were given the scaffolding and interviewed. The researcher found that the errors students did are in understanding the meaning of variables, carrying out the procedure, and the solving linear equations of one variable. Commonly, students’ mistake were caused by a failure in relating the problems with previous material and the lack of mastering basic arithmetic. To help the subjects realizing their mistake, researcher gave scaffolding level 2, that is reviewing and restructuring.Keywords: error analysis, algebra, scaffolding

Abstract

Warrant is a financial derivative product issued by a firm on its own equity. Warrant is different from call options because the exercise price is paid to the firm and increases its assets and new shares of stock are issued at exercise. In this paper, warrant pricing is obtained using three methods; Black-Scholes, diluted Black-Scholes, and observable variables. Specifically, effect of dilution of warrant pricing would be compared each other with different characteristics of contract.Keywords: warrant, dilution, Black-Scholes, diluted Black-Scholes, observable variables

Abstract

This paper gives an idea of the methods of learning algebra structure using the software GAP (Group, Algorithm, and Programming). Classic theorem is often used in the subject of algebraic structures, including finite abelian group theorem, Lagrange theorem, and isomorphism theorem. Understanding the theorem and the proof is not easy for students. This paper offered a method that can be used by students when studying a theorem through some structured experiments using GAP. Such experiments would eventually lead them to make a conjecture. So hopefully the students can construct an understanding of a theorem, and it will become much easier for them to remember and understand the theorem.Keywords: classic theorem, abstract algebra, GAP, Algebraic
