Abstract

This research was motivated by the fact that so many children in elementary schools having low manipulative skills, which can be related to teacher's low attention to these skills. This study was directed to improve arm manipulation skills by using a game format on movement education model, using a classroom action research. GPAI (Games Performance Assessment Instrument) and field notes were employed as the instrument. The samples of this study were 34 student, consist of  (17 boys and 17 girls).  There was 9,54% improvement that can be detected from the results of the pre test to the end of the cycle. It can be concluded that the game format of movement education model can improve arm manipulation skills of 4th grade students. The implication of this research is that movement education models should be actively occupied in the PE lesson in elementary schools. AbstrakPenelitian ini dimotivasi oleh rendahnya keterampilan manipulatif siswa di sekolah dasar, yang menunjukkan kurangnya perhatian guru pada keterampilan tersebut. Penelitian ini diarahkan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan manipulatif lengan dengan menerapkan model pendidikan gerak berformat permainan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan instrumen GPAI (Games Perfomance Assesment Instrument) dan catatan lapangan. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 34 siswa, terdiri dari (17 laki-laki dan 17 perempuan). Terdapat peningkatan 9,54% dari hasil pre test hingga siklus 2 tindakan 2. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran model pendidikan gerak berformat permainan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan manipulatif lengan terhadap siswa kelas 4.

Abstract

The aim of the research was to find out the improvement of students games performance by using of  tactical approaches and practice sytle on futsal learning. It’s used class action research. The instrument used were the observation sheet and assessing students during learning with a sample of 32 students. The result of research shows that students games performance increased that can be seen from the pretest (31%). Cycle I action 1 (46%), cycle I action 2 (56%), cycle 2 action 1 (65%), and cycle 2 action 2 (81%). The results shows that the application of tactical approaches and practice style improve students’ games performance on futsal. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan bermain futsal siswa melalui penerapaan pendekatan taktis dan gaya mengajar tugas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi dan melakukan penilaian pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung dengan sampel sebanyak 32 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterampilan bermain siswa meningkat yang terlihat dari pretest (31%,) siklus 1 tindakan 1 (46%), siklus 1 tindakan 2 (56%), siklus 2 tindakan 1 (65%) dan siklus 2 tindakan 2 (81%). Dari hasil data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan taktis dan gaya mengajar tugas dapat meningkatkan keterampilan bermain futsal siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to design of  basic jumping movement learning models through modification of traditional games in order to fun, interesting, varied, interactive, effective and help students improve gross motor skills in elementary school student. In this study, researchers used a development model referring to research and development. Learning media required data at 81.25%, learning experts at 75.00%, learning expert models obtained 87.50%, trials with 8 subjects (small groups) 89.84%, first trials with subjects 30 84, 38%, the final product test 83.13%. This reseach conlude that the basic jumping movement learning through the modification of traditional knee games to improve gross motor skills in elementary school student can be used. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat model pembelajaran gerak dasar melompat melalui modifikasi permainan tradisional yang menyenangkan, menarik, bervariasi, interaktif dan efektif dan membantu siswa dalam meningkatkan gerakan motorik kasar pada anak-anak sekolah dasar. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan model penelitian dan pengembangan. Media pembelajaran diperlukan data sebesar 81,25%, ahli pembelajaran sebesar 75,00%, model ahli pembelajaran memperoleh hasil 87,50%, uji coba dengan 8 subyek (kelompok kecil) 89,84%, uji coba lapangan dengan subjek 30 84,38%, uji coba produk akhir 83,13%. Dapat dinyatakan bahwa model pembelajaran gerak dasar melompat melalui modifikasi permainan tradisional lutut untuk meningkatkan gerakan motorik kasar pada anak-anak sekolah dasar dapat digunakan.

Abstract

The study was backed by by the lack of participation of students in studying physical education learning learning material with football. As for the purpose of this research is to look at the influence of the application of the cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) can increase the participation of the students of class 5 in one of the existing primary school in Bandung. In this study researchers use research methods class action (PTK). Data retrieval is performed using the observation sheet. As for the participants in this study is a grade in one of the existing primary school in Bandung. Research results on the stage of pre observation shows the average percentage of 50.82%, on a cycle I actions I shows the average percentage of 60.94%, on a cycle I Act II the average percentage of 66.02%, cycle II action I show the average 70.97% percentage, cycle II Act II there is a significant increase and has already reached the KKM (the criteria of maximum conditions) against the participation of students with average percentage of 83.06%. The conclusion from this study is that the application of the cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) in the subjects of physical education can improve learning participation grade 5 in one of the existing primary school in the city Bandung. AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya partsipasi belajar siswa kelas 5 pada materi pembelajaran sepakbola. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk melihat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dapat meningkatkan partisipasi belajar siswa kelas 5 di salah satu sekolah dasar yang ada di Kota Bandung. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi. Adapun partisipan dalam  penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 5 di salah satu sekolah dasar yang ada di Kota Bandung. Hasil penelitian pada tahap pra observasi menunjukkan rata-rata persentase 50,82%, pada siklus I tindakan I menunjukan rata-rata persentase  60,94%, pada siklus I tindakan II rata-rata persentase 66,02%, pada siklus II tindakan I menunjukan rata-rata persentase 70,97%, pada siklus II tindakan II terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan dan sudah mencapai KKM (kriteria ketentuan maksimal) terhadap partisipasi belajar siswa dengan rata-rata persentase 83,06%. Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) pada mata pelajaran pendidikan jasmani dapat meningkatkan partisipasi belajar siswa kelas 5 di salah satu sekolah dasar yang ada di Kota Bandung.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate  the physical fitness level profile of fourth grade and fifth elementary school students of SD SIKK (Kinablu City School Indonesia Sabah Malaysia) in the academic year 2018/2019. It’s used quantitative method. Data collection used the Asian Committee on the Standardization of Physical Test (ACSPFT) technique for under 12 years old. Data analysis used using descriptive percentages. The results showed that physical fitness profile of fourth grade  elementary school students were excellent 0%, good 7%, fair 46%, poor 20 36%, very poor 11%. The physical fitness profile of fifth grade  elementary school students were very good 4%, good category 20%, fair 47%, poor 22%, very poor category 7%. This reseach conclude that physical fitness condition of fourth grade and fifth elementary school students of SD SIKK was in fair category. AbstrakTujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui untuk profil tingkat kesegaran jasmani siswa kelas IV dan V SD SIKK (Sekolah Indonesia Kota Kinablu) Sabah Malaysia tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Metode penelitian ini adalah jenis Kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik survei tes Asia Commite on the Standardization of Physical Test (ACSPFT) untuk usia kurang dari 12 Tahun. Analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan deskriptif presentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Profil Kesegaran Jasmani siswa kelas IV sebagai berikut, baik sekali 0%, kategori baik 7%, kategori cukup 46%, kategori kurang 36%, kategori kurang sekali 11%. Profil Kesegaran Jasmani siswa kelas V baik sekali 4%, kategori baik 20%, kategori cukup 47%, kategori kurang 22%, kategori kurang sekali 7%. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukan profil kesegaran jasmani siswa Kelas IV dan V SD SIKK Sabah Malaysia rata-rata dalam kategori cukup.

Abstract

The background of this study is the lack of rhythmic movements of students with hearing impairment in BKPBI learning. The purpose of the study was to see the increase in rhythmic movements of students with hearing impairment in at SLB B Prima Mulia Bhakti through BKPBI learning. It’s used experimental method with one group pretest- posttest design, the study was conducted in SLB B Prima Bhakti Mulia Cimahi with 7 students as the samples. The result shows that there is improvement in pretest score and post-test score which indicates the improvements of students rhythmic movements. It concludes that there is an improvement on the students’ rhythm movement trough BKPBI learning. AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurangnya gerak irama siswa tunarungu dalam pembelajaran bina komunikasi persepsi bunyi dan irama (BKPBI). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pembelajaran BKPBI dalam meningkatkan gerak irama siswa tunarungu di SLB B Prima Bhakti Mulia. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest design di SLB B Prima Bhakti Mulia Cimahi. Jumlah siswa sebagai sampel sebanyak 7 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kenaikan nilai dari nilai pretest dan nilai posttest yang mengindikasikan adanya peningkatan gerak irama pada siswa. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada peningkatan gerak irama siswa tunarungu melalui pembelajaran BKPBI.

Abstract

The research method of this study was classroom action research. The data analysis by reducing data and describing data in table form, so that  the average value and percentage of completeness of learning could be found. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students in elementary school student in Bandung. The total of the students were 33 students, which consisted of 17 male students and 16 female students. The results of the study in the first cycle showed that the manipulative movement skillsof students achieved (63.88%), while in the second cycle showed that the manipulative movement skills  increased to reach (80.55%). Abstract

The aim of this research is to assess effectiveness of movement education model and specific feedback provision in teaching locomotor activities to third grader of Elementary School. This research was employing Classroom Action Research approach with involving 2 cycles, each of which using two meeting actions. The instrument to be used in detecting the improvement was a jumping skill performance checklist. The participants for this research were 39 students from third grade of Elementary School. The result indicated that students’ jumping skills were increasing for about 43% from pre-test to the end cycle. It can be concluded that giving feedback in the learning process has optimized students’ improvement in their jumping skills.  AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan model pendidikan gerak dan pemberian spesifik feedback dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani pada siswa kelas 3 Sekolah Dasar dengan maksud untuk meningkatkan keterampilan melompat siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, sebanyak 2 siklus, dengan 2 tindakan pada setiap siklus Sampel penelitian adalah 39 siswa kelas 3. . Untuk mengukur keterampilan melompat, digunakan tes keterampilan performance checklist. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat peningkatan keterampilan melompat sebesar 43% dari observasi awal hingga siklus II tindakan 2. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pendidikan gerak aktivitas lokomotor melalui pemberian spesifik feedback dapat meningkatkan keterampilan melompat siswa kelas 3 Sekolah Dasar di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi mengenai pentingnya feedback dalam mempercepat proses pembelajaran gerak.

Abstract

This study was aimed at discovering Physical Education college students’ fear of failure level and their strategies in dealing with their fear. The study was a descriptive study. The Performance Failure Appraisal Inventory (PFAI) questionnaire and an open-ended questionnaire were distributed to 25 Physical Education students. The data were analyzed by using descriptive data analysis. The result shows that 8% of the students were in the high level of fear of failure, 20% students were in quiet high level of fear of failure, 8% were in the moderate level of fear of failure, 36% were in the low level of fear of failure, and 28% of the students were in very low level of fear of failure. The finding also shows that there were three techniques the participants used to decrease their fear, including relaxation, positive thinking, and focus on the competition. It concludes that most of Physical Education College students’ fear of failure levels do not exceed the moderate level. It indicates that the students might have been able to control their fear by doing the three techniques before competition. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat rasa takut akan kegagalan saat menghadapi kompetisi olahraga mahasiswa Pendidikan Jasmani dan strategi yang mereka gunakan untuk mengatasi rasa takut itu sendiri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Kuesioner Performance Failure Appraisal Inventory (PFAI) dan sebuah open-ended kuesioner disebar kepada 25 mahasiswa Pendidikan Jasmani. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 8% mahasiswa berada pada level rasa takut tinggi, 20% berada pada level cukup tinggi, 8% pada level sedang, 36% berada pada tingkat rendah, dan 28% mahasiswa berada pada level sangat rendah. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga teknik utama yang dilakukan partisipan dalam mengatasi ketakutan akan kegagalan sebelum bertanding yaitu relaksasi, berpikir positif, dan fokus terhadap pertandingan yang akan dihadapi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat rasa takut sebagian besar mahasiswa Pendidikan Jasmani tidak melebihi tingkat sedang. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa Pendidikan Jasmani kemungkinan besar telah mampu mengontrol rasa takut akan kegagalan saat akan bertanding dengan menerapkan tiga teknik tersebut sebelum bertanding.

The result of observations showed that the students’ manipulative basic movement in learning was still low.
