Abstract

The Haruyan Hilir watershed has an area of 94.41 km2 with a river length of 35.24 km and most of the river basin is forest. The Haruyan Hilir River crosses the Tabudarat Hulu Village, Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency, South Kalimantan. The river border is very densely populated and the Haruyan River is a river that often runs out during the rainy season. This situation is very detrimental to the people who live in the area around the Haruyan Hilir River . There is a need to analyze the existing capacity of the river to find out how high the flooding is .Flow profile analysis is carried out with the application of HEC-RAS 5.0.3, while to analyze the design flood discharge using the synthetic unit hydrograph Nakayasu. The design of the Haruyan Hilir River flood discharge uses a design flood of 2 years return period = 267,100 m3 / sec, 10 years return period = 400,401 m3 / sec, and 20 years return period = 437,188 m3 / sec. In the existing condition at the return of 2 years found 55 overflowing cross-section stakes. With these conditions, it proves that the Haruyan Hilir River is a river that is always flooded during the rainy season.

Abstract

The intersection is a point where various vehicles meet in a movement that is not the samedirection, so that the intersection occurs between the opposing road segments and causecongestion along the intersection arm. Likewise, at the Intersection of Jalan Ade Irma Suryani(West) - Jalan Sarif AL. Qoldir - Jalan Ade Irma Suryani (East) - KHWahid Street congestionoccurs due to reduced road width, parking lots on the road and street vendors (street vendors)which is along the body of the road. At the intersection of Jalan Ade Irma Suryani (West) -Jalan Sarif AL. Qoldir - Jalan Ade Irma Suryani (East) - Jalan K.H.Wahid there was acongestion caused by a side obstacle, which was not matched by adequate infrastructure. So thisresearch aims to analyze the performance of the unsignalized intersections based on the 1997Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI). In analyzing traffic capacity and behavior, field dataare needed in the form of: geometric conditions, traffic flow conditions for two weeks on June24, 2019 to July 7, 2019, with an observation time of 15 hours per day from 06:00 - 21:00 Wita. From the research, the current at peak hours of the first week occurs on Saturday, June 29, 2019at 3:00 - 16:00 West Indonesia Time. With a total vehicle volume of 15692 vehicles / hour or31384 pcu / hour and the current at peak hours of the second week occurs on Sunday, July 72019 at 16:00 - 17:00 Wita. With a total vehicle volume of 14832 vehicles / hour or 27664 pcu /hour. The calculation results show that the capacity of intersections (C) 2472,183 pcu / hour, with a degree of saturation (DS) of 1,329 pcu / hour, which means the degree of saturation thatoccurs ?0.75 of the required. Intersection delay (D) 23.24 seconds / junior high, and the chance of queuing (QP) that occurs is 150% - 78%. The conclusion that can be drawn is the capacity atthe intersection of Jalan Ade Irma Suryani, Klojen Subdistrict, Malang City, an improvementmust be made, namely by widening the road in the direction of Sarif AL.Qoldir street, JalanK.H.Wahid and making a sidewalk for pedestrians.

Abstract

Probolinggo Regency is one of the administrative regions in East Java Province which is located on the north coast, with national roads (pantura lanes) running from Surabaya to Banyuwangi and Bali Provinces, and there is also a national strategic road leading to the Bromo mountain . These road segments have high traffic volume and potential to cause traffic accidents. One of the sections in the Probolinggo Regent attachment decree in 2015 is TongasLumbang-Sukapura section of 25 roads whose authority Probolinggo Regency Government. These urban roads that connect between sub-districts in Probolinggo Regency and have diverse land use conditions, and quite a number of activities, which have the potential to cause accidents. To reduce the level of traffic accidents on the Tongas-Lumbang-Sukapura road, it is necessary to pay attention to the safety aspects of road infrastructure and other factors (natural conditions, design of road segments (vertical and horizontal alignment), pavement damage conditions, driver visibility, sign completeness or indicators roads and local regulations / policies. The aim of this study is to analyze and evaluate the safety on Tongas-LumbangSukapura road section (from the physical / geometrical of the road and infrastructure aspects) as well as efforts to handle and provide alternative solutions. According to regulation no. 22 of 2009 concerning about Road Traffic and Transport Safety, it?s obtained that isn?t safe from Geometry / physical and infrastructure aspects. The sollution is from of road geometry aspect, it needs to be improved in 4 (four) aspects, namely the width of the lane, sidewalks, waterways, road pavement while from the aspect of infrastructure, the addition of road markings, monitoring equipment and supporting facilities.

Abstract

In the construction sector, there are many components inside it. One of them is project management, which can be divided into three parts cost, time, and quality. The budget for a project is called Budget Plan. In general, the cost between budget plan and real implementation is different. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the comparison between budget plan and real cost implementation, to know the cost difference and the factors causing the difference between the budget plan of the project with budget plan of permen PUPR. Permen PUPR 28/PRT/M/2016 serves as the guidelines to calculate the budget plan. Meanwhile, the implementation budget plan is calculated on the field. The research is conducted by observing the work accomplished on the field, which includes the preparation work and wall?s work. The research shows the difference between the budget plan and real implementation on the field. The cost of project budget plan is Rp 13.655.643 and for the permen PUPR is Rp 12.943.589. The difference between the budget plan of permen PUPR and the one that on the project is Rp 712.055. The factors that causing the differences are wages, cost of the materials, cost of the equipment, different implementation, quantity of the material and worker coefficient

Abstract

Local wisdom is an ideas and norm that continuously lives in the society and functioned toregulate the lives of its people. Local wisdom in building architecture is not only related tomystical or religious values that develop in the society. Local wisdom is also a manifestationfrom community's logical thinking about residential or settlement problems. Local wisdom aimsto protect the community and the environment, social-spiritually, economically and physicallyof the community. If sustainable architecture, which is increasingly being developed in thedesign of modern building designs, excavated from the local values of the community certainlywill give an influence on sustainable development. Therefore, this paper aims to learn how localwisdom in traditional buildings accommodates sustainable architectural concepts in terms ofbuilding structure systems; the form, space and material that used in the building; and the useof renewable energy. The method used in understanding this is the theoritical study of Baduy?straditional house Sulah Nyanda and Sundanese?s traditional house in Kampung Naga. Thetheoretical review shows that the local wisdom of the Baduy and Sundanese tribes in traditionalarchitecture has a sustainable architectural concept. This can be an input for designing modernbuildings that are sustainable

Abstract

In structure construction, concrete holds important part. Normal concrete is composed of sands, cement, gravels and water. In general, sands that used to make concrete is mostly came from Lumajang, East Java and because of that the price of it is increased over time. So it is necessary to do research about another alternative for the soft aggregates. Volcanic ash from Kelud Mountain can be one of the solve that can be used to be mixed with Lumajang?s sand. This research determines the effect of the volcanic ash as a partial substitute of the Lumajang?s sand with compressive strength as the comparison. Speciments that used in this research are concrete cylinders with diameter of 150 mm and height of 300 mm. Number of test speciments for each variation are 3 speciments. The results showed that at the 0% substitute variation obtained 29.90 MPa of the average compressive strength, for the 5%, 10% and 15 % obtained 30.02 MPa, 24.63 MPa and 27.54 MPa of the average compressive strength. It shows that the maximum average compressive strength is at the 5% substitute variation at 30.02 MPa. It shows that at 5% variation the compressive strength is increased compared with 0% and then at 10% it is decreased and start to increased again at 15% substitute variation.

Abstract

The land transportation system has two important aspects, namely transportation facilities and infrastructure. If the need for transportation facilities (road transport) is not matched by the availability of transportation infrastructure (road), transportation problems will arise. Transportation problems that can be caused by this imbalance are traffic jams. Singosari is a district in Malang Regency, East Java Province, Indonesia. This sub-district is located north of Malang City, this sub-district is crossed by the Surabaya-Malang main route and is included as the worst traffic jam area in Malang.Malang City is a city located in East Java Province, Indonesia, the second largest city in East Java after Surabaya, and the 12th largest city in Indonesia. The city was founded during the Kingdom of Kanjempuan and is located on a plateau of 145.28 km2 which is located in the middle of Malang Regency. Together with Batu City and Malang Regency, Malang City is part of a unitary region known as Malang Raya. (Source: Surya Malang.Com)With this rapid development also has an impact on traffic activities in the city of Malang. The impact that occurs on traffic activities is congestion on the road, this is because many activities on the highway are used to get to one place to another. One of the frequent traffic jams is on the Singosari road in Singosari District, Malang. From the results of the above analysis, it is known that the characteristics of the Singosari road segment are referred to as a low side obstacle class and have a high enough vehicle volume that is 3404 km / hr.
