The ethnography writing was completely based on field (empiric) data. Anthropologist always holds on the present events. This article constitutes a beginning effort to design ethnography writing method using one genre or style in literature. Formerly, ethnography held on bourgeois realism. The writer changes realism in ethnography which doesn’t seem potential and objective with militant social realism literature. The writer labels it “liberation ethnography “. This article just takes a genre spirit of realism-socialist literature as “contrasting literature†to become “liberation ethnography†or “ethnography as a liberation movementâ€. The birth of anthropology with ethnography as its textual product represents the son of imperialist and colonialist. Along with the collapse of imperialist and colonialist, the awakening of ex-colonies to become new countries, entering post colonial era and global culture, the disorder of culture, the appearance of sub culture and counter culture, the foundation of anthropology becomes porous. The purpose of ethnography writing needs to be reviewed because there is an interest to write ethnography as a politi cal practice. Key words: Ethnography, Social Realism Literary, Liberation Ethnography

This article will strive a kind of exploration studies arround multiculturalism and its impact to the dance and performance appearance in Yogyakarta dance tradition. Multiculturalism and its shaping have several elements which support the new kind of creative process. In the case of Yogyakarta dance tradition, it regards to the extra-tolerance sense of the aesthetic authority. Based on these evidences, this article will explore a study of traditional sources from the dance naration texts collected by the palace of Yogyakarta. In fact, it has been strongly emphased on the archi val studies and explanation process through the heuristic explanation. On the other hand, this article would like to examine a relationship between a sense of extra-tolerance inside the dance tradition itself and the creative requirement belong to the new kind ofprocess itself With an arts histori cal approach, this article presents an explorative study of the multiculturalism as ingredients which improve the development of new mainstream of creative process in the field of dance tradition fluently. Keywords: multiculturalism, extra-tolerance, and creative process.

Barang Miring music composition is inspired by the musical gamelan of sekaten, a set of ancient ensamble called Kyahi GunturMadu and Kyahi Guntur Sari of Surakarta Palace. This unique musical gamelan is often used by compésers in their creations. It has also been using sources of creation, creative materials, creativity approach, imitation, etc. Gamelan itself generally accompanies other performance like dance, puppet show, and even the gamelan performance itself Based on this phenomenon 1 would like to examine a gamelan Sekaten as an object of material. Through this article I present the musical creation based on gamelan sekaten tradition and actualize through the new creation called Barang Miring. gendhing Barang Miring of gamelan sekaten will be the main sources because of its uniqueness as a major repertoire of gamelan sekaten. It is performed traditionally after the Adzan Asyhar when the Moslem does their sholat. This article also strive a reason of what kind of concept of Barang Miring (minur) into the concept of gamelan ageng performance. Using reinterpretation approach based on traditional repertoire, this article exists as a representation of a new field of creation in music creation based on karawitan traditional composition. Key words: barang miring, musiccreation, gamelan sekaten,

Experiment research about CCTV under web for security system, is made to design a prototype remote security system. This security system can be develope for remote security system that can be accessedfrom intranet and internet networks. Streaming is an effective methode to send big capacity files like audio and video from intranet or internet networks. The benefitfor using streaming is a very big capacity offile(s) can be shown has no need all parts offile(s) be accessed. Ussually streaming proccess (Windows Media, Real Media, Quicktime and Flash) pass through a crucial phases and need very long time process. Else ussually streaming format needs much bandwidth and very large saving media. Unreal Streaming Server is an under windows streaming software, that has more function like online (live) features and offline (on demand) steraming than old different St reaming software. Unreal Streaming Server is the right choice for developed as CCTV under web for security system. This software needs only 1 Giga Byte / 1 GB to record online/live seasson as long as 1 month. Unreal Streaming Server no needs decode an originalfile that will be used; all offile is streamed as an originalfile format. Player can receive stream, if codec is installed on. Security level can be set from server with security choices like : password, authent~fi cation, session and blocking acccess. Other main facility is CCTVstream can be access from cellular phone (celiphone) that has Windows OIS, Symbian 0/S or Java that can be accessed everywhere. Keywords: CCT1  Streaming, Unreal Streaming Server

The novel entitled Ayat-ayat Cinta is a very good novel with complete contents. It is not only a literature and love novel but also a novel ofpolitics, culture, religion,flkih (laws), ethics, language, and dakwah. The interesting problem which can be raised is the complex culture in Ayat-Ayat Cinta. This research uses qualitative descriptive method and librarial study. The sources used in this research include documents containing data about things or variables covering notes, transcript, books, newspapers, etc. Social background of the novel is described by an Indonesian student who is studying in Cairn, Egypt, with the various norms and traditions. Discussing about packaging is always interesting especially discussing topic of food packaging which grows quite fast at this time. Packaging, at this moment, is not only comprehended as a container~ apackage, orfood protector but also comprehended as a business strategy, sign jfi cation process and an understanding about difference principle of social values and packaging tradition itself. Here is the cultural industry especially an understanding of the consumptive society and packaging becomes one of the interesting objects to talk about. This article talking about a Cangget dance of Lampung society and its identity related to the dance performance itself The Cangget dance and its specific field of its performance because of it was danced by a group of female dancers. Uniquelly the female dancers mostly the daughters of the traditional ethnic leaderand their appearance represents the unappearance of the ethnic leaders. Here! would like to examine through this article in what kind of the Cangget dance and its role as a culktural identity amongs Lampung society furthe rmore the extended role of this dance tradition presently. In other ways this article will also examine the Cangget dance by using sosio-historical approach in order to analyze the Cangget dance and its existence into the pattern of culture, system of value and its norms related to the intercontextualities of cultural diversity. Keywords: Cangget dance, cultural identity, society.

This research try to expose all the kind of human communications in pe,formance art—especially dance. Indeed, human communication is usefulifor creative process of idea exploration. With qualitative approach and interview method to digg various data, this research expose a kind of communication context that built in creative pmcess of dance arts. The Director of one of a masterpiece peiformance art, Kalabendu, HDwi Wahyudiarto, S. Kar, M. Hum. will be the main source.Balancing interaction and adaptation that match with each portion dan responsibility, make creative performance art process so smooth to be done. A democratic culture, full filling in purpose to reach the best, will guarantee a creative independence an searching creativity exploration to gain the beginning aim—that match with the deal in the first outline scenario. Various communication define of seven specific contextual circumstances. That was two persons communication; interview; a little communication group; public communication; organizational communication; mass communication; and inter-cultural communication. Shape of communication that built in art making process more intens to balancing reciprocal communication.
