Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence the Shadow Boxing exercise had on increasing VO2Max in boxing. The method used in this research is experiment. The design used is a One group Pre-test-post test design. The sample of this research was conducted on sixth semester students of Sport Coaching Education, amounting to seven students. Based on the results of the study, the average increase in maximum aerobic endurance capacity or VO2Max is before being given Shadow Boxing training by 24.3 and after being given Shadow Boxing training by 31.78. This proves that the Shadow Boxing exercise gives positive impact on VO2Max. hence, this exercise can be recommended to be added as a special portion of the exercise menu for boxers who have problems with poor aerobic capacity.

Abstract

The research aims to provide a program of influence on the improvement of the dominant physical component in volleyball sports, the dominant physical component in question consisting of arm muscle strength, abdominal muscle strength, leg muscle strength, heart-lung endurance, and leg muscle explosion power. This type of research is experimental research, with the research design of One Group Pre-Test and Post-Test Design. The sample and population in this study were all male volleyball players from FOK-UNG with a total of 15 people. Treatment in this study is an exercise program that includes strength training, and heart-lung endurance performed 24 times. Based on the results of the study showed that there was a significant increase in each variable of the dominant physical component after being given the treatment program treatment.

Abstract

This study aims to improve learning outcomes Reject Bullets through learning tools for modification of tennis balls for VII grade students of SMP Negeri I Telaga by using learning media for modifying tennis balls. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) consisting of two cycles and each cycle consists of three meetings. From the results of data analysis, the average student learning outcomes in how to hold a bullet, put a bullet and reject a bullet has increased. While 1 student did not reach the minimum completeness criteria set by the school, but it was already included in the sufficient criteria in Shot Put learning. This study proves that if a tennis ball modification is applied, the learning outcomes of Grade VII Bullet Resistant students of SMP Negeri I Telaga Gorontalo Regency have increased.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze the speed of side kicks of teenage fighters at the Center for Student Training Education (PPLP) Gorontalo. This research method uses survey research in the form of a 15 second kick test, sit and reach test, standing board jump test. The sample of this study was conducted on 8 PPLP Gorontalo youth fighters. Based on the results of the study, the side kick speed of the Gorontalo PPLP adolescent fighter had a side kick speed performed within 15 seconds on average capable of doing as many as 28 for the right foot included in the excellent category and 26 for the left foot included in either category. In addition, the flexibility owned by Gorontalo PPLP adolescent fighters who were tested using sit and reach test was 45 cm which was included in the excellent category. Meanwhile, the power tested by standing board jump test power is 2.71 m which is included in the excellent category.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Langga as traditional martial arts of the Bone Bolango community. This research is a survey research. The research subjects were Langga teachers, and the surrounding community. Data collection techniques are done using interview techniques by asking questions. The results of this study are that Langga Self-Defense is a typical silat of the Bone Bolango community which was inherited by the ancestors of Bone Bolango who is also a martial art for maintaining security in the territory of the Bone Bolango kingdom. The conclusion is that Langga martial arts is a tradition of the Bone Bolango community. The existence of Langga martial arts had existed in the 1960s which at that time was played by Temeapusa and Syahrul Panipi. In 1993 until now Langga's martial arts began to be rarely played again especially in welcoming the big days.
