Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan sejak Mei 2000 sampai April 2001, dengan menggunakan 3 macam jaring, yaitu jaring insang bermata jaring 1.5 dan 6,5 inchi; tegur bermata jaring 0,5 inchi dan experimental gillnet bermata jaring 1,25, 1,5, 1,75 dan 2 inci. Analisis dilakukan terhadap sex rasio, indeks kematangan gonad, tingkat kematangan gonad dan fekunditas. Kematangan gonad diduga secara morfologi. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa rasio kelamin antara jantan dan betina tidak sama dengan 1:1. Berdasarkan tingkat kematangannya. ikan belanak M. Dussumieri yang memilki TKG III (maturing) dan IV (mature) ditemukan hampir setiap bulan dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa ikan belanak memijah sepanjang tahun dengan puncak pemijahan pada bulan Juni dan Januari. Keadaan ini didukung pula oleli nilai indeks kematangan gonad yang tertinggi baik pada jantan maupun pada betina terdapat pada bulan Juni dan Januari. Fekunditas bervarisi tergantung pada tingkat kematangan dan ukuran yang berkisar antara 27.117-323.20. Penyebaran diameter telur juga bervariasi (0,03-0,63 mm) tergantung pada tingkat kematangan gonad. Berdasarkan pola penyebarannya pada TKG IV didapatkan bahwa pola penyebarannya memiliki lebih dari satu puncak yang berarti partial spawner.ABSTRACTStudy on the reproduction of mullet (Mugil dussumieri) in Ujung Pangkah, East Java was conducted from May 2000 to April 2001, using three kinds of fishing gears such as gillnet (mesh sized 1.5 inches and 6.5 inches, fixed trap net mesh sized 0.5 inches and experimental gillnet mesh sized 1 inch, 1.25 inches, 1,5 inches. 1.75 inches and 2 inches). Collected fish was preserved in formaldehyde 10%, measured for total body length (app. 0.1 mm) and weighted by electeronic balance (app. 0.01 g). Analysis was done to investigate sex ratio, gonado somatic index and fecundity. Gonad maturity stage was estimated according to the morphological characteristics. Sex ratio of the fish varied from 0.4 to 2.4 according to the sampling month and total body length. Based on chi square test, the sex ratio was significantly different with 1:1. According to gonad maturity stage, the fish with mature and maturing gonads increased during June (67% for male and 50% for female) and January (38% for male and 35% for female). These indicate that peak of spawning season were in June and January. This condition is supported by gonado somatic index which was higher during June and January. Fecundity varied according to gonad maturity and size which was from 27.117 to 323.200. Oocyte diameter varied from 0.03 to 0.63 mm according to gonad maturity. Based on the distribution pattern in mature gonad, oocyte distribution have more than one mode indicating a partial spawner.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to explain biology aspect of red rainbowfish that is reproductive biology [sex ratio, gonad maturity, fecundity, spawning season and length at first maturity (L50)]. This study was conducted in Sentani Lake during 5 months (December 2007-May 2008). Sex ratio was higher for female on January-February (1:3), gonad maturity and GSI was higher in station 1, 2, 3 and 6 at December. Fecundity ranges between 910-3122 eggs. Eggs diameter is 0,625-7,125 ^m and spawning pattern is partial spawner and iteroparous.

Abstract

The study on the food habits and ontogenetic changes in the diet of the rough flathead, Grammoplites scaber, in Mayangan Coast, West Java, was conducted in 12 months. The main objectives of the study were to analyze the food compotition and the changes of the food in relation to season and fish length. Samplings were done once in a month, using gillnet and beach seine. Total samples were 795 individuals and the range of total length was between 107-364 mm. Food analysis was determined by using index of preponderance. The result showed that the food of the rough flathead fish could be grouped into four groups. The groups are crustacea, pisces, cephalopod, and bivalve. This fish was crustacivore and the major foods were Portunus, Metapenaeus dan Penaeus. The main foods which were consumed varied each month. Along with the increasing of the fish size, there was a change of the main foods. Smaller fish tend to consume Penaeus; whereas the larger one tends to consume Portunus, Metapenaues and Saurida.

Abstract

This study was held as a fundamental management for silver biddy fish in Mayangan Coast, Subang, West Java, from June to November 2003. The main objective of the study was to determine the sex ratio, gonad maturity development, gonado somatic index, fecundity, and spawning pattern. The result showed that the sex ratio of male and female fish based on total fish and mature fish were unbalanced (1:3.06 and 1:9.26). Based on gonad maturity development it suggested that fish spawned in every month. The first size of maturity for male and female were 115 mm and 105 mm. GSI increased based on total length and gonad maturity development. The fecundity of silver biddy fish was ranged from 1.158 to 219.372 in eggs. Based on the oocyte diameter distribution from the mature fishes, the fish was indicated as total spawner.

Abstract

Penelitian terhadap pertumbuhan ikan belanak di Ujung Pangkah, Jawa Timur, dilakukan sejak Februari 2000 sampai April 2001 serta Desember 2001 sampai Januari 2002, dengan menggunakan jaring insang dengan ukuran mata jaring masing-masing 1,5 inchi dan 6,5 inchi, tegur berukuran mata jaring 0,5 inchi dan jaring eksperimen yang memiliki lima ukuran mata jaring 1 inchi, 1,25 inchi, 1,5 inchi, 1,75 inchi dan 2 inchi. Dari jumlah sampel yang didapat selama penelitian, (N=1739) terdiri atas ikan jantan (n=689) dan betina (n= 1050). Pola pertumbuhan masing-masing untuk jantan dan betina adalah allometrik, dengan persamaan sebagai berikut: W=0,00003759L2-72 (jantan) dan W=0,00001465L2’25 (betina). Abstract

The reproductive biology and length-weight relationship of fourlined tonguesole, (Cynoglossus bilineatus Lacapede, 1802) were examined in the Mayangan Coast, West Java from May to November 2003. The objective research was describe some aspect reproductive such as sex ratio, spawning season, fecundity, and spawning type; and also describe length-weight relationship and condition factor. The total length (TL) of all observed specimens ranged from 80 to 369 mm. Sex ratio of males and females was 1.5:1. Fecundity of this species was estimated at between 2.323 and 225.557 eggs per individual. C. bilineatus is an asynchronous, partial spawner, with are spawning peaks in June and September (for males), July and October (for females). Negative allometric was established in the length-weight relationship (b=2.859). Condition was estimated at between 0.89 and 1.06 for males and 0.84-1.08 for females.

Abstract

Ikan cupang (Betta splendens Regan) merupakan ikan hias bernilai ekonomis tinggi, karena keindahan warna dan naluri berkelahinya. Dalam perkembangbiakanya pakan memegang peranan penting yang terkait dengan fekunditas dan produksi larva. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui umur yang tepat bagi induk cupang untuk dipijahkan serta pengaruh berbagai jenis pakan alarm (Daphnia, Tubifek dan jentik nyamuk) terhadap tingkat fekunditas dan produksi larva. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Instalansi Penelitian Perikanan Air Tawar, Depok dari bulan Agustus sampai Oktober 2000. Metode yang dipergunakan adalah pemberian makan secara ad libitum dengan 90 ekor induk jantan dan 90 ekor betina dengan umur 3-4 bulan. Hasil yang diperoleh dianalisa dengan program SPSS versi 10 menunjukkan bahwa umur dan pakan alami yang memberikan hasil (fekunditas dan produksi larva) paling baik ialah umur 4 bulan dengan pakan Daphnia.ABSTRACTFighting Fish (Betta splendens Regan) is an ornamental fish which has high economic value, it has a beautiful colouration and also a fighting instinct. In extand to hold importand part taken with fecundity and juveniles product. The aims of study are to know right age for parent of fighting fish can to breed and various effect natural food (Daphnia, Tubifek dan Mosquito Juveniles) to fecundity grade and juveniles product. This study was conducted at Instalation Freshwater Fish Research, Depok since August to October 2000. The methods used is food ad libitum with 90 males and 90 females with age 3-4 months. The data to analyse by SPSS ver. 10 resaested that 4 months of age is highest (fecundity and juveniles product) with Daphnia.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to explaine biology aspect of sardine (Sardinella longiceps) that is reproductive biology (sex ratio, gonad maturity, fecundity and spawning season) and growth (growth parameter, length-weight relationship and condition factor). The study was conducted in Sibolga bay during one mounth (August-September 1999). Sex ratio of sardine is balanced. The fish in condition immature most few than mature fish. Fecundity is between 28.973 - 93.573 eggs, with spawning season in July-August. Growth model L =317,6 {1 - e" "-21 <l "'419,J with growth pattern is isometric. Condition factor of male and female fish is between 0,57 - 1,40 dan’ 0,53 - 1,46.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan aspek biologi ikan lemuru (Sardinella longiceps) yang meliputi biologi reproduksi (rasio kelamin, tingkat kematangan gonad, fekunditas dan musim pemijahan) dan aspek pertumbuhan (parameter pertumbuhan, hubungan panjang-berat dan faktor kondisi). Penelitian ini ikan lemuru dilakukan selama satu bulan (Agustus-September 1999) di perairan teluk Sibloga. Rasio kelamin ikan lemuru seimbang. Ikan yang belum matang gonad terdapat lebih sedikit di perairan dibandingkan dengan ikan yang telah matang gonad. Fekunditas ikan lemuru berkisar antara 28.973 -93.573 butir, dengan musim pemijahan diduga pada bulan Juli-Agustus. Model persamaan pertumbuhan L =317,6 {1 - e" "-21 <l "'419,J dengan pola pertumbuhan isometrik. Nilai faktor kondisi ikan j an tan dan betina berkisar antara 0,57-1,40 dan 0,53-1,46.

Abstract

The study was conducted in place of fish auction Labuan, Pandeglang at April-June 1999. The aims of study are to know reproductive biology of Snapper (Nemipterus tambuloides) that is sex ratio, gonad maturity, gonado somatic index, fecundity and eggs diameter. By 210 sample, 100 males and 110 females. Fecundity is between 25,019 - 170,888 eggs with average fecundity 5*4,759 eggs. Eggs diameter is 0.513 mm and spawning pattern is total spawner.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilakukan di tempat pelelangan ikan (TPI) Labuan, Kabupaten Pandeglang pada bulan April-Juni 1999. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aspek biologi reproduksi ikan kurisi (Nemipterus tambuloides) yaitu rasio kelamin, tingkat kematangan gonad, indeks kematangan gonad, fekunditas, dan diameter telur. Dari 210 ekor ikan kurisi yang dilihat jenis kelaminnya, terdapat 100 ekor ikan jantan dan 110 ekor ikan betina. Fekunditas berkisar antara 25.019 - 170.888 butir dengan rata-rata 54.759 butir. Diameter telur berukuran 0,513 mm dan pola pemijahan total spawner.

Abstract

As one of the hard structure in the fish body, the otolith, formed by calcium carbonat and arogonite could be usefull to count the growth and age of the fish. Thes purpose of this study is to know the growth pattern within spotted flying fish (Cypselurus poecilopterus), the relationship between otolith size increments with increments of length, weight of the species. By explorative method the growth data were took up from otolith then observed under ligth    microscope. The results showed that the cirle dark (opaque) and light lines (hyaline) were formed in the otolith. Otolith development of spotted flying showed some kinds of reproductive relationship, and spotted flying otolith showed that the development of this species is slow. Growth pattern of spotted flying is allometrik.ABSTRAKOtolit adalah bagian keras dari ikan yang terbentuk dari kalsium dan arogonit, yang dapat berguna dalam perhitungan pertumbuhan dan umur ikan. Studi bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola pertumbuhan ikan terbang (Cypselurus poecilopterus), hubungan antara peningkatan ukuran otolit dengan panjang panjang dan berat spesies. Dengan metode eksplorasi, data pertumbuhan diperoleh dari otolit yang diamati dengan menggunakan mikroskop. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkaran gelap (opaque) dan garis terang (hyaline) dibentuk di otolit. Perkembangan otolit menunjukkan hubungan reproduksi dan otolit menunjukkan perkembangan spesies ikan ini lambat. Pola pertumbuhan ikan terbang bersifat allometrik.
