<![CDATA[Land and Building Tax is a potential source of revenue for the region as one of the direct taxes. Land and Building Tax is a central tax because the object is in the area, then the region gets a bigger share. In Gorontalo Regency, mainly Tolagohula Sub-district, as in other parts of Indonesia, the land and property tax (PBB) is one source of local revenue. The management of the land and building tax (PBB) in Tolangohula sub-district is expected to lead to the welfare of the people in Gorontalo Regency.The purpose of this study is to determine how the effectiveness of tax revenue Earth and Building (PBB) in District Tolangohula Gorontalo District. Using the Ratio of the effectiveness of Land and Building Tax revenues (PBB) shows the ability of local governments in mobilizing Land and Building Tax (PBB) in accordance with the targeted. The ability to obtain Land and Building Tax (PBB) is categorized effective if this ratio reaches at least 1 or 100%. Overall, the acceptance effectiveness of Land and Building Tax (PBB) in District Tolangohula Regency Gorontalo during the period of 2012 to 2014 is in the effectiveness category.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of Total Population on Rice Consumption in the District of Asparaga Gorontalo Regency can be fulfilled. The data used in this study Primary data obtained directly from the object of research either through interviews or from the observation (observation) in the community in District Asparaga Gorontalo and secondary data that is sourced from documents in related institutions in District Asparaga Regency Gorontalo. The method of analysis used is simple regression analysis method to see the relation of population to rice consumption with the help of SPSS Program which used in analyzing data.The results obtained from the data that has been collected to obtain the regression equation Y = 601.439 + 0.997 X means the Number of residents in District Asparaga Gorontalo regency in every year very little effectThis study aims to determine the effect of Total Population on Rice Consumption in the District of Asparaga Gorontalo Regency can be fulfilled. <![CDATA[The study aims to determine and analyze the influence factors of leadership, responsibility, discipline and cooperation affect the performance of employees at Gorontalo University. And To know and analyze the dominant factor that affects the performance of employees at Gorontalo University in Gorontalo.This research was carried out research was conducted at the University of Gorontalo, with consideration of location is one of the central services in the field of education so that employees are required to provide excellent service in a professional manner. Purposive sampling was conducted as many as 105 employees. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results showed that Simultaneously shows that the leadership (X1), responsibility (X2), discipline (X3) and cooperation (X4) effect on employee performance (Y). The value R square = 0.827. While the correlation coefficient R = 0.909 Partially indicates that the variable has a positive leadership and dominant to employee performance, Partially indicates that the variable has a positive leadership and dominant to employee performance indicates that the variable Partially responsibility has a positive and significant impact on employee performance partially indicates that the variable has a positive discipline and significant impact on employee performance Partially indicates that the variable has a positive cooperation and significant impact on employee performance, Gorontalo University in Gorontalo.]]>

<![CDATA[Gorontalo Province is still one of the newly developed areas that always expect the participation and support from various parties, both morally and spiritually in the form of facility improvement and human resource formation must be developed simultaneously, it is clear that this will encourage economic development for the society as a whole. This study aims to analyze the Prospect of Receipt of Land and Building Tax in District of Asparaga Gorontalo Regency. The main variables used are land tax and building. The analysis method used is Linear Trend analysis. The results showed that the Linear Trend is Y = 900343714,60 + 5006432,80 X which means the variable of the earth and building taxes have good prospects in the District Asparaga. <![CDATA[Identifying basic sectors and sub-sectors is one of stages to plan strategic area expansion for the centre of economy growth. Therefore, Location Quotient Analysis is needed to understand how far the level of specialization of economy sectors in particular area in utilizing its basis sectors or leading sectors. Basic sectors can be determined by using Location Quotient (LQ) method. Variables used to calculate basis economy are from local GDP of an activity focused on activities in the local economy structures. Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is an important indicator to understand economy condition particularly in Gorontalo Regency in particular period, either based on current prices or constant price. Data collection process done by using secondary data survey based on documents from Statistics of Gorontalo Regency and Statistics of Gorontalo Province. From 2012 up to 2016, processing industry sectors and service sectors have been stable basis in terms of improving LQ value and its GDP in an analysis period. This can be possible that those two sectors have contributed on the improvement of GDP of Gorontalo Regency including all other sectora that also become basis such as Mining and Excavation sector, agriculture sector and others.]]>

<![CDATA[Analysis of Economic Sector Potential in Efforts to Increase Economic Growth (Empirical Study on Gorontalo Regency and Gorontalo City in Gorontalo Province in 2012-2016).The purpose of this study is to analyze the potential of the economic sector in the development of Gorontalo Province, and To identify potential economic sectors with competitive advantage and specialization in Gorontalo Province. This research used the method is LQ (location Quotienf) and Shift Share (SS) analysis to identify economic sector in Gorontalo Province development, identifying potential sectors with competitive advantage. Aided by a time series of data that looks at GDP growth between the study area and the reference area. The result of research shows that in Gorontalo regency, the period of 2012-2016 which becomes the main base sector is agriculture sector, while for Gorontalo city which become the main base sector is gas and water supply sector, building sector and trade sector of hotel and restaurant. In addition, the sector contributes the largest as a contribution to the GDP and absorbing labor in the regency and municipalities so as to encourage the growth of GRDP value every year in the Province of Gorontalo]]>

<![CDATA[The province of Gorontalo as a resultant area of the North Sulawesi Province is certainly faced with unemployment and poverty problems, which is a common development problem faced by every region. the population condition of the area shows that the population in each regency in Gorontalo Province varies from one to another. From the condition of the population then needs to be analyzed about the effect of unemployment and poverty on economic growth in Gorontalo Province.The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of unemployment and poverty on economic growth in Gorontalo Province. The results show that unemployment and poverty affect economic growth in Gorontalo Province. This is also in accordance with the results of calculations using a simple regression, where the level of significance of the whole one-sided correlation coefficient as measured by probability yields a figure of 0.019. Since the probability is less than 0.05, the correlation between the variables of unemployment and poverty (Variables X1 and X2) and economic growth (Variable Y) is significant.]]>
