Abstract

Poverty uses three measurements, namely: the percentage of poor people (P0), the depth index (P1) and the severity index (P2). Poverty in 2018-2019 has decreased where the Covid 19 Pandemic has not yet occurred in Indonesia. After the Covid-19 Pandemic (2020-2021) there was a restriction on population mobility, thereby reducing income and having an impact on poverty. The object of research uses all provinces in Indonesia. Poverty data is sourced from the Central Statistics Agency and the Covid 19 Task Force. The purpose of the study is to compare poverty and the COVID-19 pandemic in every province in Indonesia. This study uses descriptive statistical analysis using data from 2019 and 2020. The results found five provinces with a high rate of COVID-19 cases including: West Java, Central Java, East Java, North Sumatra, and DI. Yogyakarta. The five provinces with the highest COVID-19 cases experienced an increase in poverty during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic

Abstract

In Tumih Village, Wanaraya District, Barito Kuala Regency, South Kalimantan Province, this study attempts to assess the strategy and growth of the agricultural sector as well as the level of community engagement in relation to agriculture. The settlement of Tumih itself has excellent potential for agriculture, particularly rice production. The analytical technique used employs the Strength Field Analysis approach to identify development plans and Participation Strength Analysis to identify the level of community involvement in agriculture in Tumih Village while determining the agricultural sector's strategy. The analysis' findings indicate that the key influencing elements for agricultural development plans in Tumih Village are the availability of human resources in the agricultural sector, particularly in the case of rice, and the farmers' receptivity to new technology. A hindrance in Tumih Village is the absence of irrigation and agricultural technologies. With only 36.5 percent, the assessment of the level of community involvement in planning for agricultural growth is still insufficient.

Abstract

This article aims to provide a summary of local governments' strategies as well as long- and short-term perspectives on the effects of East Java Province's population growth rate and Human Development Index on unemployment. This article's technique involves analyzing the impact of the dependent variable on the independent variable using parametric quantitative methodologies. In order to see both the short- and long-term consequences, an analysis of the Vector Error Correction Model is employed as the analytical model. The findings indicate that the Human Development Index and population growth rate have a short-term negative impact on unemployment in the province of East Java. In contrast, population growth in East Java Province has a beneficial effect on the rise in unemployment when considered over the long term. The Millennial Job Center and other programs are a long-term answer to the problem of unemployment in the province of East Java

Abstract

In order to support the development of the rural creative economy in Bone Bolango Regency, ecotourism development techniques need to be thoroughly examined. The purpose of this study is to identify the ecotourism development plan for enhancing the rural creative economy in Bone Bolango Regency. In order to obtain the necessary data for this study, interviews, observations, and literature reviews were used. The data obtained will be more thoroughly examined using this strategy. The study's findings include the following: First, the development of natural ecotourism, marine ecotourism, historical ecotourism, and the construction of tourism awareness groups constitute the ecotourism development strategy. The plan, meanwhile, has not been the most effective in boosting the Bone Bolango district's rural creative economy. Therefore, the bone bolango regency administration needs a strategic policy to support the growth of ecotourism in connection with enhancing the creative economy. Second, the impact of ecotourism development on the economy of rural communities in the bone bolango district has not been fully realized, given that only three of the 16 ecotourism potentials are natural, and that only the Lombongo tourism potential contributes 0.9 percent of the levy, 2.5% of the levy from Olele Submarine Park, and 0.2% of the levy from Botutonuo Beach.

Abstract

The goal of this study was to ascertain whether exports and imports had a positive or negative impact on a country's trade balance. The secondary data used in this analysis pertains to the total value of non-oil and gas-oil and gas imports and exports as well as the trade balance for the years 2017 through 2021. The Central Bureau of Statistics for 2017–2021 as well as the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia's official websites were studied and analyzed by the researcher as part of the data collecting procedure using library research methodologies. According to the study's findings, the trade balance declined by 65% in 2019; there was a deficit of 3,044.4 million US dollars, which is a difference of 5,654.1 million US dollars from the previous year. However, the overall value of exports increased by 41.9% in 2021 compared to 2020, generating a surplus in the trade balance of 35,332.5, up 63.4% from the value of the trade balance prior year.
