Abstract

This study is a replication of research conducted Risdwiyanto and Dharmmesta (2001), which seeks to develop a concept of higher education services based on the wishes of potential customers. This study examined the effect of marketing mix models to the selection of private universities (PTS) in Sleman, Yogyakarta. Sleman Regency is one of the areas in the Province of Yogyakarta Special Region which has a lot of colleges. The model in this study based on marketing mix consisting of seven marketing stimuli, namely product, price, place, promotion, people, physical evidence, and process. This study aimed to analyze the influence of factors of marketing stimuli to the selection of private universities in Sleman Yogyakarta by prospective students and know the significance rank of the influence of each marketing stimuli factor. This study uses the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to collect preliminary data and surveys to obtain primary data. By using the 142 students of XII class of High School (SMA) in Sleman as samples, this study proves that the replication model used may indicate a significant influence of marketing stimuli on the election of PTS. The important contribution of this research is the development model of the influence of marketing stimuli factors on the selection of PTS that can be used as a basis for decision making PTS marketing strategy.

Abstract

Along with the development of sharia banking institutions in Indonesia, the more types of services provided by these Islamic banking institutions. This study focuses on internal factors, such as Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) and Non-Performing Financing (NPF), because of the presumption that these factors have the most significant influence on profit-sharing that exist in the Islamic banking system. This study aims to determine the effects of Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) and Non-Performing Financing (NPF) variables on Mudharabah Deposits of PT Bank Syariah Mandiri, both partially and simultaneously for the 2011-2017 period. The sample used in this study is PT Bank Syariah Mandiri in Indonesia by using multiple linear regression analysis which is processed using SPSS (Statistical Product Services and Solutions) software version 24. The results of this study state that FDR has a negative effect on profit sharing of Mudharabah Deposits, while NPF has a positive influence on the profit sharing of Mudharabah Deposits. These results also indicate that simultaneously the Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) and Non-Performing Financing (NPF) variables have a significant influence on the profit sharing of PT Bank Syariah Mandiri Mudharabah Deposits for the period 2011-2017. This is supported by the results of the coefficient of determination. The coefficient is 0.673 or 67.3% of profit sharing of the Mudharabah Deposits are influenced by the FDR and NPF variables, and the remaining 32.7% is influenced by other variables not used in this research model.

Abstract

Strikes happened in some companies are often caused by employee dissatisfaction. They may disturb production processes and impede the achievement of company goals. Increasing job satisfaction can minimize the strike potential. Job satisfaction is affected by financial, physical, psychological, and social satisfaction factors. It was revealed that financial, physical, psychological, and social satisfaction have statistically significant negative effects on strike potential, with social factor to be the most dominant. Thus, company may implement financial, physical, psychological, and social satisfaction factors to minimize the strike potential.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is a key to the success of the company. Customer satisfaction has a positive relationship with the company's value for shareholders. By providing satisfaction to the customers, companies can gain greater market share and increase its profits. Some of the critical success factors in creating satisfaction for its customers include brand image, customer value, and perceived quality. This research revealed a significant role of brand image, customer value, and perceived qualityto customer satisfaction of Smartfren data service in Sleman, Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Growth of Informal Sector UKM/URT leather so far has been getting the attention of the government , but not enough attention is because it has not touched the substance of empowering UKM/URT as part of the global economic system. This is because coordination, focus and formulation of each department tends to rule out a profitable strategy UKM/URT, but more nuanced political or business-oriented on the other side. Growth of UKM/URT themselves usually stop at the base phase where after working through internships (replication) for a bold new step on their own (work Independently) goes directly compete and survive. This method is very common UKM/URT for this so that UKM/URT less have a comparative advantage, because it is still a single fighter for all matters both for the production, management, marketing, etc. In fact, everything is done the traditional (manual, non-corporated). Under these conditions, the role of government and business associations are expected to be suporting system is vital for UKM/URT. Thus, in the era of regional autonomy of local governments should empower UKM/URT as the main pillars of the regional economy. The role of business associations are not limited to the expected orientation solely capital adequacy but also to think of innovation, improvement of production systems, design, quality control, management, marketing systems, as well as having a dual role that regulate the production and marketing systems, including the progressively explore marketing. Until this approach is necessary as a form of cultural and structural dynamics of society from an agrarian society to a modern society that direction must inevitably be faced by society as a whole is not denied even occur in all sectors of development.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the quality of service on customer satisfaction in PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. Sidoarjo branch Gedangan, the variables used in this study was the quality of service consisting of Reability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangible as well as the level of customer satisfaction. This study was conducted to spread out questionnaires to 72 customers in the bank branch Gedangan Sidoarjo. To see the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction conducted sampling of respondents involved in the sampling process. Test equipment used is the technique of multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 17.0 software. From the  results of multiple regression analysis in F test obtained Fhitung 22 285> of F Table of 2346 or by the significant value of 0000 in which the significance value is less than the significance level = 0.05. it can be concluded that Ho refused and Ha accepted, it means reliability (X1), responsiveness (X2) assurance (X3), empathy (X4), and tangible (X5) together have a significant impact on customer satisfaction (Y) , T test to determine the effect obtained partial realibility of 2611; variable responsiveness of 2155; variable assurance amounted to 2,383; emphaty variables for 4328; tangible variables for 2219. whose value is greater than ttable which amounted to 1,997, which means stating that the variable stress reliability (X1), responsiveness (X2), assurance (X3), empathy (X4), and tangible (X5), individually (partial) influence to variable customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Total production of dairy farmers in Indonesia are accounted for less than a quarter of the national dairy consumption. Most of dairy farmers in Indonesia are coordinated by cooperative. Therefore, the right strategy is needed to strengthen the role of cooperatives and their members. Research is conducted in Bogor Dairy Production Cooperative (KPS Bogor), Bogor District. The research is offering Business Development Strategy of dairy cooperative using Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) methods. The results showed the internal and external (IE) indicators in KPS Bogor. IE Matrix showed that KPS Bogor stands in five quadrant. The general strategies are market penetration and product development. Based on matrix of SWOT method, there are six alternative strategies. QSPM results showed the highest priority strategy for KPS Bogor are: (1) Strategy to develop derivative products of milk, (2) Strategy to increase the number of dairy farmers, (3) Strategy to provide credit facilities for members of the cooperative, (4) Strategy to improve milk quality standards, (5) Strategy to expand the distribution network, and (6) Strategy to clarify goals of KPS Bogor.

Abstract

The research on adolescence perception to their reproduction health guidance in Wirobrajan District, Yogyakarta could give an illustration on a very well, well or poor perception guidance variables. Adolescence reproduction health guiding function was to guide and to direct adolescence in order to avoid from a disadvantageous behaviour for their future lives such as free association, pre-marriage sexual intercourse, sexual affected disease, drugs abuse, drinking, criminal acts and soon. Adolescence reproduction health program was conducted through several approaches were among others: Firstly, family communication approach i.e. a program given through interpersonal communication between parents and their adolescence phase and learning/ teaching approach, aimed to give adolescence reproduction health program in school through intra-curricular and extra-curricular. Secondly, a counselling approach meant that given to the adolescence and their parents in a school guidance activity form as well as society through social group/ organization such as youth workshop, Family Wellness Program (PKK), BKR, and soon. From the research result, it was known that adolescence perception to reproduction health guidance was averagely good, except its perception credibility was very good, adolescence concept or ways most liked on adolescence health guidance was conducted a direct guidance using demonstration tools. Viewed from an adolescence perception difference on adolescence reproduction health guidance was based on sex, age, origin, school, parent educational level and occupation. From the analysis result, there was no respondent perception difference viewed from sex, age, origin, school, parent educational level and occupation.

Abstract

This study was conducted to prove empirically the earnings management practices related to its influence on the bond rating. The data of this study were 36 companies that issued bonds listed on Valuation, published in 2010-2012. Sampling method using purposive sampling method. Detection of earnings management behavior in this study using the Modified Jones Model (1995). Data were analyzed using classical assumption, namely: autocorrelation, heteroscedasticity test, and test for normality. Hypothesistesting using multiple regression analysis with SPSS16.
