Abstract

The company's stock price which always experiences a decline is the background of this research. This study aims to determine the effect of return on equity (ROE) and Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC) on firm value in the textile and garment sector which is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study using secondary data from is Financial statements of textile and garment companies from 2013 to 2018 obtained through the website Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression and data analysis using IBM Statistics 26. Based on the result of the analysis it can be concluded that return on equity and weighted average cost of capital has a significant effect on firm value with R2 equal to 0,329, which means the contribution of the independent variable to firm value by Price book value (PBV) in textile and garment companies is equal to 32,9 % and the remainder equal to 68,1 % can be explained by other variables outside this study, and based on the value of F with the values 6.606 shows that the simultaneous correlations of independent variables namely ROE and WACC with the dependant variable firm value.

Abstract

In the cement sub-sector company on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2015 to 2018 cement sales increased but the profits that were earned always decreased. Activities in the company have an important role so that the company's financial performance is in good condition. The purpose of this study is to determine the company's financial performance in terms of its activities. The research method used is quantitative. The data analysis technique used is horizontal analysis with inventory turnover ratio, receivable turnover ratio, and fixed asset turnover ratio. The result of this research is that the decline in the company's financial performance is seen from inventory turnover, receivable turnover, and fixed asset turnover.

Abstract

The era of globalization, better known as the Industrial Revolution, Era 4.0, makes all sectors change. We are starting to see massive efficiency where output becomes one of the targeted indicators. The maximum disclosure of information with almost free access can be a huge opportunity for a company to startups compete on a wide scale. Marketing is an activity that should always be included, from everything carried out by large companies to Startups or SMEs. In this new era, marketing is generally executed out in two ways, traditional and digital. We also know that social media is an individual quite widely used for personal and business purposes. And the use of this new digital trend in marketing has also greatly increased, becoming the media used by almost every company or startup in carrying out its marketing campaigns. The specific purpose of this research is to understand the true impact of social media marketing and how effective this marketing is in the era of industrial revolution 4.0. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to Startups in Medan, North Sumatera The testing is done empirically and consumers tend to lean on great communication and indication of a strong collaboration.

Abstract

This study's research background aims to determine how much influence discipline, selection, and organizational culture have on employee performance. The object of research was carried out on employees who work at PT United Rope. The population used in this study was 136 employees with a sample of 101 PT United Rope employees who were obtained using a simple random sampling technique using the Slovin formula. Samples were obtained by distributing questionnaires to employees. The independent variables in this study are discipline, selection, organizational culture. The dependent variable in this study is employee performance. The data analysis technique used includes validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test including normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, data analysis with multiple linear regression, simultaneous test, and partial test. Based on the research results, discipline, selection, and organizational culture have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The conclusion of this study, variable field, selection, and corporate culture will improve employee performance. Employee performance will increase if employees can be disciplined in carrying out their work. The company can select employees well in occupying a position, and employees who can apply organizational culture properly will have increased performance.

Abstract

The development of technology at this time is very fast. This development can be seen from the progress of gadgets that are now easily grasped by various groups (rich, poor) and ages (old, young) all can use it. Gadget innovations are always popping up all the time, from laptops, PCs, to cellphones. Mobile offers various advantages and features to support user flexibility. This study aims to prove the simultaneous and partial effect of purchasing decisions in terms of brand image, product quality, and promotion of Oppo mobile phones. This research is quantitative descriptive. The population is all buyers of Oppo mobile phones. The number of samples used amounting to 100 respondents, the sample was taken by purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used in this study was multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that the f-test brand image, product quality, and promotion simultaneously and significantly influence the buying decision for Oppo mobile phones. The t-test results show that brand image has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for Oppo cellphones, product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for Oppo cellphones, the promotion has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for Oppo cellphones.

Abstract

The two-wheeler industry in Indonesia has a very positive trend. Advanced technology science as a means of smoothing the flow of communication and transportation, which causes very competitive competition. This study aims to test product design, product quality, the brand image on the purchase decision of a Mio motorcycle at a Yamaha Sumber Baru Dealer Rejeki Kartasura. The research sample was 70 consumers and used the multiple linear regression method. The results of product design, product quality, a brand image simultaneously and partially have a significant effect on the purchase decision of the Mio Motor at Yamaha Sumber Baru Dealer Rejeki Kartasura. Three independent variables can explain the purchase decision.

Abstract

Customer Satisfaction in terms of Shopee's Lifestyle, Promotion, and Service Quality. Thesis, Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, Islamic University of Batik Surakarta, 2021. This study aims to prove the simultaneous and partial effect of Customer Satisfaction in terms of Lifestyle, Promotion, and Shopee E-Commerce Service Quality. This research is quantitative descriptive. The population is all Shopee E-commerce buyers. The number of samples used by Sugiyono's guidelines, amounting to 100 respondents, the sample was taken by purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used in this study was multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that the F-test of lifestyle, promotion, and service quality simultaneously and significantly affects Shopee e-commerce customer satisfaction. The t-test results show that lifestyle has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction of Shopee's e-commerce, the promotion has a positive and significant effect on Shopee e-commerce customer satisfaction, service quality has a positive and significant effect on Shopee e-commerce customer satisfaction. The coefficient of determination shows that lifestyle, promotion, and service quality variables on Shopee e-commerce customer satisfaction. The most dominant influence on Shopee e-commerce customer satisfaction is lifestyle variables because it has the largest.

Abstract

Along with the fast development of technology, makes computers, robots, and automatization are usually used in the business. This phenomenon makes the competition quite strict for the digital start-up, which provides services in corporate systems. Therefore, a company, an IT-based company, in particular, requires innovation and development. This research aims to analyze the effect of learning climate on innovative work behavior in digital start-up companies. This research used a simple linear regression method with a measuring instrument, namely The Dimensions of Learning Organization Questionnaire and Innovative Work Behaviour. This research was conducted on 102 employees. The result shows that learning climate affects the innovative work behavior in 51% of employees in the company, and the rest 49% are affected by other variables outside this research.

Abstract

The more important the role of the stock exchange in economic activity, the more sensitive the stock exchange is to various surrounding events, whether they are directly related to economic issues or not. The announcement of the first case of the coronavirus in Indonesia is one of the events that have the potential to affect market behavior. This study aims to analyze the reaction of the capital market to the announcement of the first case of the coronavirus in Indonesia. This study used an event study approach with measurements seen from differences in abnormal returns and trading volume activity before and after the event. The research sample was 45 companies selected by the purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used paired sample t-test on normally distributed data and Wilcoxon test on data not normally distributed. The results showed that there was no difference in abnormal returns and trading volume activity before and after the announcement of the first case of the coronavirus in Indonesia. This study concludes that events do not contain significant information that can influence investors' decisions in the capital market.

Abstract

Turnover refers more to the maintenance level of tbsp. Work conflicts lead to the level of problems that occur within the scope of the company. The work environment describes the work atmosphere and the availability of facilities and infrastructure that can directly affect employee performance. The purpose of this study is to prove the results of employee performance in terms of turnover, work conflict, and the work environment of PT. Kinarya Tunas Artha. Using descriptive and quantitative research types. Total population 200 respondents, sample 67 respondents, using multiple linear regression analysis. Research results: f test describes turnover, work conflict & work environment affect employee performance. While the t-test states that turnover has a positive & significant effect, work conflict has a negative and significant effect, the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The results obtained R2/ coefficient of determination of the effect of turnover, work conflict, and work environment on the performance of 53.5%, the work environment variable becomes dominant because the tcount is the largest.
