Abstract

The purpose of this research to analyze the influence of firm size, liquidity, growth opportunities, tangibility asset, and business risk to the capital structure of listed food and beverage manufacturing companies in Indonesia and Vietnam Stock Exchange from 2010 to 2016. The result shows that the fixed effects model should be appropriate for this study as compared to the random effect model. Capital structure significantly differences between the two countries. Firm size has a positive but insignificant influence on the capital structure in Indonesia, whereas it has a positive and a significant influence on the capital structure in Vietnam. Liquidity has a negative and significant influence on the capital structure both in Indonesia and Vietnam. Growth opportunities have a negative but insignificant influence on the capital structure both in Indonesia and Vietnam. Asset tangibility has a positive but insignificant influence on the capital structure in Indonesia, but it has the negative but insignificant influence on the capital structure in Vietnam. Ultimately, the business risk has a negative and significant influence on the capital structure in Indonesia but has a positive and insignificant influence on the capital structure in Vietnam.

Abstract

Education is an effort to develop the potential that exists in humans. Teachers are an integral part of educational resources that explore the educational success. A teacher who plays a role in the intellectual and mental coaching of students is expected to instill discipline and attitude towards students. This study aims to explore the role of Islamic education teachers in instilling student discipline. The method of this study is qualitative to explore the state of the object of the study. Five of the Islamic education teachers participated in this study. The instrument used in this study is interview protocols. The results of this study showed that Islamic education teachers are competent in carrying out their roles. Likewise in their role in instilling students’ discipline, Islamic education teachers are informers, organizers, motivators, initiators, and evaluators.

Abstract

Cultural diversity is a necessity or is a Sunnatullah that occurs in human life. The existence of Allah SWT. Creating human beings with ethnicity and nationhood in essence created a diverse culture. We can see this in Indonesia, which is a pluralistic society, each tribe or region has its own cultural characteristics. To reveal the diversity of cultures the perspective of the Qur'an in this paper is used by Al-Farmawy's method of interpretation Al-Maudhui with a multi-interpretation approach (some interpretations that you use). This is intended to reveal the diversity of cultures in the Qur'an in a systematic and in-depth manner. With theological studies (based on al-Qur'an) on cultural diversity possessed by humans can strengthen faith by having an understanding that we have diversity and cultural differences between people. So as to foster awareness and mutual acceptance, respect and tolerance among fellow children. In the end, fostering a sense of unity and unity, the creation of a peaceful and peaceful society. Or the people of Baldatun Thoyyibah Wa Rabbun Ghofur.

Abstract

This paper discusses human resource management from an education quality perspective. This study aims to find out the description of human resources in building the quality of education. This study applies descriptive qualitative. Data source from Madrasah principals, heads of administration, head of curriculum and evaluation, and educators. Data collection method by interviewing the participants. The instrument of this study uses interview guidelines. Data analysis were carried out through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that human resources in the Madrasah Aliyah IMMIM Makassar Modern Islamic Boarding School were in the good category. The reality of the quality of education shows very satisfying results, it is categorized in very good. The implication of this study is that it is hoped that it can become information and reference about the need to review the activities of human resource management in developing the quality of education, primarily from the perspective of internal customers consisting of educators and education personnel as "motor" all activities of madrasah and not just factors of production but also assets that need attention. The reality of the implementation of human resource management in several schools and madrasah needs to be evaluated more intensively to find out more about the potential advantages and disadvantages and limitations of each school or madrasah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the mechanism of Good Corporate Governance, DER, Asset Growth on company performance (empirical studies on mining companies listed on the Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia Stock Exchange period 2010-2017). This research is quantitative research which aims to systematically explain about the facts and properties in an object in the study then merged between variables related to it by presenting secondary data from financial reports from mining companies in the countries of Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. The samples used in this study were 15 mining companies in the countries of Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. In this study, the data analysis method used is the data panel (pooled data) which is a combination of time series data and data between individuals or cross sections in mining companies in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. This research indicates that the variation of the profit company's performance can be explained by the independent variables analyzed
