Abstract

Multivariate calibration model aims to predict the expensive measures obtained by using the measures of a cheap and easy. There are several problems that often occur in the model calibration, among others, and multikolinear. To overcome these problems we used partial least squares method (PLS). The study was conducted to apply the PLS method on the data gingerol. Based on research conducted with the two components of the model obtained with the diversity of variable Y at 83.8032% and the diversity of variable X equal to 100%, and obtained for R2 = 83.8% and RMSE = 0.100891 calibration data group and R2 = 84.2 % and RMSEP = 0.199939 for the validation data.

Abstract

Analysis of chemical substances in some processes an-organic bottled water and drinking water recharge has been done using One Way Manova. Samples originated from springs Ciburial Bogor taken in May 2009 at 10 depots refill drinking water process (AMDIU) Around Syahdan and Anggrek Campus of Bina Nusantara University. Reserve osmosis filtration processes and filtration Hollow Fiber and testing of heavy metal contents of five CN, Pb, Mn, Cr, and Cd in the company carried out the bottled water (bottled water) PT Buana Cikarang Tirta Abadi. Test results and analysis show that the processed water filtration contains CN, Pb, Mn, Cr, and Cd was lower than that of water filtration was not processed. And drinking water processed by filtration Reserve Osmosis, contains CN, Pb, Mn, Cr, and Cd was lower than that processed by Hollow Fiber Filtration and Granular Activated Charcoal.

Abstract

Article presents analysis and design of software using Location Based Service (LBS) that is part of communication technology based on geographic position. The goal of the research is designing LBS application to be implemented on mobile device that has GPS (Global Positioning System) technology and uses GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) to connect to server for generating shortest path by Dijkstra algorithm method Fibonacci Heap. Software development method used is LBS application implemented on mobile device. Conclusion of the research has shown that shortest path generated using Dijkstra algorithm method Fibonacci Heap as single source shortest path is faster than Dijkstra algorithm and Bellman Ford.

Abstract

In a highly competitive industry faces today ranging from small or home-based printing to using machine that can print offset a hundred thousand copies per hour. But, the increasing competition resulted in requiring a faster production time from order entry, print proff until the production process to delivery to customers. Often times in case of orders which will result in the concurrent PPIC will experience vertigo in the setting of production schedules which have concurrent delivery time. Often will end up with no receipt of orders due to difficulties in the production schedule, especially if the orders require the same offset machine and cylinder wear the same length, while the number of cylinders is limited. Therefore, the printing company should be able to do so in the conduct of a penetration timing of production can easily be simulated and implemented on the ground. CBS (Base Constraint scheduling) is a technique to do the scheduling of production so that production can be carried out smoothly and quickly that fulfill the promise made to customers. In scheduling, there are several techniques that can be used are: FCFS (First Came First Serve), EDD (Earliest Date), and LCLS (Last Came Last Serve). So, it is required to be able to do way better scheduling to get results quickly in this fast changing schedules.

Abstract

The utilisation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) focuses more on the Schematic Design or Technical Design phase, while the Preliminary or the Conceptual design is pretty much skipped. This paper shows that a simple model could utilise BIM to gain rich information about solar radiation to give ideal orientation in Preliminary phase. On this case, a spot in Jakarta is analysed with Glass Box method to depict the ideal orientation that receive a minimum solar radiation in a year span.

Abstract

Public housing is a residential provided by the government for the lower-middle class in city, to be owned. Since 2007, public housing in Jakarta has been built in the form of multi-storey housing (Rusunami). Rusunami is still regarded as one of the best alternatives for the provision of public housing in Jakarta, since the land in the city is very limited and the population is increasing. However, in the development of Rusunami, the displacement of residential units in rusunami is still happening until now. It is necessary to study how the provision of rusunami in Jakarta, whether it meets the needs and target hosts. The study was conducted using a descriptive method which studied provision of rusunami, and other secondary data regarding occupants. The study shows that the increasing number of residential units at rusunami has not covered the needs of residential in Jakarta for the lower-middle class. Occupants in rusunami are generally middle-income families. This condition indicates that the number of residential units and the fulfillment of target criteria at rusunami in Jakarta are still lacking.

Abstract

This research purpose is to design a Blended Learning System that allows participants to learning online with SCORM-based material. Tracking progress of online learning outcomes will be reported to the facilitator, management and survey work. Research methodology are method of designing and literature study. Design method using two first step in extreme methods, the planning and design programming. Literature study Methods is taken to find references on the internet and read a book for the collection of required data. The results of this study is used to simplify facilitator in acknowledging to what extent the participants understand the material provided and trigger a process of discussion in the classroom. The conclusion from this study is designed blended learning allows participants become interactive in performing learning online, showing progress and becoming interactive. Therefore, through survey, it can support learning to become more Interactive and informative.

Abstract

Concrete-Mold is one of the most important elements of a building’s structural system. Like other structural systems, the concrete mold placed right after the main wiring structure placed. The function of the concrete mold is to specify the size of the concrete structure itself. The needs of an efficient construction timeand cost are some reasons of the decent and fast development of home-design structure. Sloof’s concrete-mold for two-floor houses can be done with two different materials, i.e. wooden plywood material and bricks. The difference usage of these two materials is the background of this research. The purpose of research is to find out the best way in time and cost efficiency of these two materials. This research carried out using the method of library studies, survey, and comparative study. The result of this research showed that the cost of the brick making the job of sloof concrete mold cheaper and faster. Thus, sloof concrete mold making is one of the project solutions that are more efficient in terms of time and cost.

Abstract

The technology development affects people activites especially in this 20th century. Mobile phone ischanged into smartphone and travelling becomes a new lifestlye. A Tourism scheduler with a reminder is created from this research to fulfill the new trend of people lifestyle. The travelling data is stored in the system and some information such as the point of interest of an area, hotel, and transportation to reach the area are provided. Waterfall model becomes the method to build this system. Hence, an application that can create a trip for the user is completely built in Blackberry application system, consist of the trip information. The history feature provided in this application can be an advantange for the user to choose the new travelling destination. Moreover, the application has a good interface follow the eight golden rules and has a good performance that helps the tourists/users to create their own schedule and set the reminder for them.

Abstract

Indonesia today is still a State agrarian. Thus agriculture in Indonesia always get more attention by the government. Many government programs are rolled out to support the agricultural development of Indonesia, and one of them is the fertilizer subsidy to farmers Indonesia. Fertilizer itself is very useful to nourish the soil and provide vitamins to the plants, thus increasing the amount of production generated. Therefore it is necessary fertilizer for agriculture in Indonesia. CV. G company is one of the companies that produce fertilizer. Fertilizer produced by this company is an organic fertilizer and inorganic fertilizer. Problems faced by these companies are in planning the production of fertilizer produced. Companies want to optimize the amount of production of each fertilizer, maximize revenues, minimize production costs, and simultaneously optimize the working hours of employees. To meet these objectives, this research created program package using goal programming methods. Goal programming method can provide an effective solution / equilibrium toward the goals set, and the calculation will be assisted by using the Simplex method that has been modified. This method is an extension of linear programming, linear programming which can only solve problems with a single goal while the goal programming to solve problems with multiple objectives.
