Abstract

Various games are available for a variety of community as one means of entertainment which is getting more popular these days. However, sometimes several games can not be played on computer due to insufficient hardware specifications support. This situation developed the making of ChainKiller Game, a Flash based real time action RPG online game to provide an alternative as well as interactive and interesting game with a minimum hardware specification. The sequential linear process model is used to develop the overall game. Besides, a literature study was implemented to enrich the insight to develop the interesting mini game. The real-time action RPG online game which is based on Flash can be easyly used with minimum hardware specification.

Abstract

The exchange of traffic information in cyberspace grows fast. In all areas of life utilize technology to exchange information. One of the media owned by many people is mobile device such as mobile phone and tablet computer. In fact many people have been using mobile devices for information exchange function, and expect information to be transmitted quickly, accurately, and safely. The information security sent will be very important when the information is confidential. One way to secure information sent is the concealment of information into a media so that information hidden is beyond recognition by the human senses, which is commonly referred to steganography. This research studied and implemented steganography using spread spectrum Method on Android-based mobile devices. The results showed that the inserted image before and after the message was inserted is not different with PSNR value of about 75.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a decision support system to support supplier selection process in PT Guna Elektro and also to develop a system that could provide alternatives to the selection of the best suppliers. The methodologies used in this study are analysis, design, and literature study. Analysis will be done by conducting a survey about the current company system, conducting interviews with system users, and then analyzing the survey results. The literature study is conducted by searching reference sources related to the study while the design is conducted by designing a data management subsystem, model, knowledge base, and user interface. The result on the development of the decision support system application can be used to select the most appropriate supplier which are suitable with the criteria required. The developed decision support system helps support the decision making process for supplier selection.

Abstract

Tutoring institution is an organization which classified in education which focuses on improving the quality of learning of all students in order to achieve the desired target. The operational activities on this institution consist of registration, scheduling, evaluation, and administration supporters. It will be less effective if the process is done manually. Therefore, many institutions are starting to restructure the model of information systems to support the company’s operations. This study describes about a design of information system model using object oriented approach introduced by Satzinger, which each phase is represented using UML diagrams. The result achieved in this research is to produce a general model of information systems in supporting the operations of a tutoring institution.

Abstract

The goal for implementing this system is to help users manage and track history about their eat pattern, choose proper food for body’s need, and pick restaurants. Methodology used for this research contains three parts, which is analysis, design, and literature study. In requirement analysis, we do some interview with nutritionist and food provider, analysis iOS user, compare with same kind of application, and identify components that we need. In design method, we use Unified Modelling Language approach, ERD design, and user interface design. The result is a food planning mobile application with iOS platform. This application can help user manage and track their eat pattern, help user choose balanced food that suitable for their body, and inform user where they can get food they plan to eat.

Abstract

Data warehouse and data mining is used to extract useful information and has a specific meaning and to develop a real relationship between some variables stored in the data/data warehouse. A data warehouse is appropriately designed and added a requirement to provide appropriate data and is useful in making better decisions. Hardware and software facilitate adequate access to such data, analyze and display the results interactively. Data mining software is a highly effective tool that can be used to interrogate the data contained in the data warehouse in order to find a relationship (Neary 1999). This study conducts some literature studies applies some models and case studies in a higher education institution, in terms of the benefits, functions and development. The case study conducted is objected to see the trend and prediction of the number of students who drop out (DO).

Abstract

This study is objected to analyze the current system to find the problems being faced by ABC Hospital and propose alternative solutions. Additionally, it aims to generate information needed by the hospital management to design a data warehouse according to the information needs. The research method used is the analysis and design of data warehouse by Kimball and Ross cited by Connolly and Begg, known as Nine-Step Methodology. The result obtained is a data warehouse application with a multidimensional historical data that can assist the hospital management in decision making. Designing data warehouse at ABC Hospital makes enterprise data into concise and can be viewed from several dimensions that help users analyze data for strategic decision quickly and accurately.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to identify problems, analyze needs, and develop management information system especially the process internal control of asset management on Direktorat Jenderal Sumber Daya dan Perangkat Pos dan Informatika (SDPPI - government communication and informatics organization). This system development used the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method which refers to 4 phases. Those were initiation and business feasibility, requirements definitions, functional design, and verification. The analysis used to support the research methods was Enterprise Architecture (EA) and SWOT. The analysis was conducted on business process that was running at the moment. The results show that the management information system in the form of web-based applications can help the process based on activity logging assets, assets allocation, complaints, and user guide in accordance with the needs of the Direktorat Jendral SDPPI. The design of this application can also help the existing asset management process to become more efficient and effective.

Abstract

Implementation of e-marketing or digital marketing help companies compete in the free market. For that, the company needs to obtain information about the customer perception in assessing e-marketing or its digital marketing (website). The research uses digital marketing framework method that consists of several variables, such as attract, engage, retain, learn, relate and online branding in which the hypothesis is tested by correlation analysis and regression analysis. Based on correlation analysis, all the hypotheses of H1 is received (related) and based on regression analysis, all the hypotheses H1 is accepted (effectible).

Abstract

As the business competition is getting strong, corporate leaders need complete data that as a basis for determining future business strategies. Similarly with management of company "A", a pharmaceutical company which has three distribution companies. Each distribution company already has a data warehouse to generate reports for each of them. For business operational and corporate strategies, chairman PT "A" requires an integrated report, so analysis of data owned by the three distribution companies can be done in a full report to answer the problems faced by the managemet. Thus, data warehouse consilidation can be used as a solution for company "A". Methodology starts with analysis of information needs to be displayed on the application of business intelligence, data warehouse consolidation, ETL (extract, transform and load), data warehousing, OLAP and Dashboard. Using data warehouse consolidation, information access by management of company "A" can be done in a single presentation, which can display data comparison between the three distribution companies.
