Abstract

Company faces a business competition that requires the company to survive or be superior to its competitors. PT. XYZ is a trading company engaged in distribution of raw materials and goods of Japanese foodand it needs the support of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) to be applied in all business processes. One of the most important business processes is purchasing and supplying of raw materials. Raw material is a resourceor materials that have a good economic value to be sold directly or processed into finished goods that will be marketed. Therefore, it is important for companies to know how to do a good internal control related to thepurchase and inventory. The methodology used in this research is to conduct a survey on the condition of the company's business processes, the study of literature with the method of analysis and design of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD). The results of this study is the analysis and design of purchases accounting information systems, cash expense and inventory that can assist the companies in carrying out business activities and organizing internal control related to the purchase and inventory and to be able to reduce the distortionsthat occur and to maintain the smooth operation of the company. The information systems that are designed are able to help the companies in reducing errors caused by data record error transactions by employees and allow the companies to control the supply of goods.

Abstract

The use of mobile device with sophisticated hardware and smart apps is a robust tool in terms of improving productivity nowadays, as well as to the dynamic architecture design process. The communication is not merely limited to formal audio and visual, but also bridges the data synchronisation, time and distance. However, this novel technology is not fully adopted to support the design process. This paper describes the built iOS apps which designed to aid the architects and then compares their potential on each design phases. Discussion of the analysis based on the design flow of the feasibility study (feasibility study) to facilitymanagement - FM, which discusses the ability of CAAD in the design stage. In brief, the research shows the absence of rigid framework for interoperability that could accommodate two ways information exchange between apps and desktop applications.

Abstract

Tourist place navigation application becomes more important for travelers, especially backpackers. Previous research had produced applications which can only show the route from the position of traveler to tourist place with map shown. The goal of the research is to use the radius and rating method that is still rare in the community to navigate tourist place. Output of the research is a GPS-based application that can display the search results of tourist sites based on rating and radius method, route from the traveler to the destination place, and description of the place. Development method used waterfall that contained user requirement, analysis, design, coding and testing, implementation, and maintenance. Conclusion of the research has shown that the developed application provided convenience in searching tourist places based on radius and rating, displaying route, and description of tourist places.

Abstract

The accuracy of the production cost report is the basis of the control and decision making. Production cost affects the selling price of a product. The purpose of the study is to examine the procedures, forms, and reports relating to accounting information system production cost calculation in SMEs, analyze and design information systems that can support the planning and control of production information system ranging from production planning to report the cost of production by using The weighted average method. The methodologyused is the method of data collection, information and interviews. The method of designing the production cost is Object Oriented and Design. Program language used is Visual Basic. Implementation of the production cost applications in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) is to make application of MO estimation recording process and MO rate, cost card standard recording, WIP process recording, the quotation letter of raw materials, receipt of goods recording, the working hours card recording, cash expenditures recording, WIP transfer unit recording (work in process), the process of the final WIP units recording.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the needs of the enterprise information system in order to submit a proposed information systems strategy. Research methods used in this research is the analysis of the Enterprise Architecture. The proposed planning is business strategy planning and information technologysystems in companies, which can be used within a period of several years. The conclusion from this study is that the proposed planning system can help the company's performance in running business processes, and create a competitive advantage for the company to stay afloat and ahead of the stiff competition in the present or in the future.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze, design, and implement tuning for the funding database, which include data mart processing that will be used in the formation of analytical reports. The research method used is literature study from a variety of journals, books, e-books, and articles on the internet. Fact findingtechniques are also done by analyzing, collecting, and examining the documents, interviews, and observations. Other the research methods are also used to analyze and design database such as SQL tuning, Partitioning, and Indexing. The results obtained from this research is an implementation tuning for the funding database, in which if it is implemented, it will improve performance significantly. The conclusion is by implementing tuning for the funding database, it can help the bank to improve the performance of database system and decrease time to produce analytical reports.

Abstract

Building Information Modeling (BIM) has grown in architectural education curriculum with many scholar researches escalated the report. However, the effectiveness of the deliverance has not been evaluated, especially from the student’s standpoint. This writing is the survey report that collected from Bina Nusantara University students, who accomplished 3 courses of architectural computing. The survey aims to give feedback of student understanding regarding the courses learning objectives. Surveys were conducted with open and closed questionnaires. Quantitatively the survey showed that they were self-convinced with the process they had taken through the semesters. The combination of learning strategies is the strength that should support the design studio with BIM.

Abstract

Generally, activities conducted by people generate waste. The waste which increasingly rises causing a big problem. Therefore, the role of community in waste management will strongly support the process of solving the waste problem in the community. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of engagement and active participation of citizens, as reflected in the attitude of citizens in the activities related to the response to the waste problem in the community. A descriptive method was used in this study to describe the involvement and participation in the prevention of waste. The result showed that the paradigm of PSBM (community-based waste management) appeared sporadically and has not yet received the maximum support from regional governments. A paradigm which is “people pay, the government manages“, has grown within the community for years. It would hardly change people’s behaviour patterns in solving the waste problem in the community since changing the city into a city that is clean, comfortable and healthy involved many parties, including the community.

Abstract

The problem of malnutrition in children under five in Sub Nusaniwe Ambon is due to several reasons. Economic problems, lack of knowledge of health problems and lazy to take a child to IHC is a people problem there. In terms of nutrition officers, a problem that occurs is the lack of nutrition officer. This is what can ultimately make the service becomes not optimal. Based on the problems described, it can be used a web-based application that allows one to be developed later. The application store knowledge representation expert or nutritionist toddler, so it can help diagnose malnutrition and nutrient assist officers in performing work optimally, which is represented by the existence of this application. This application uses the inference Forward Chaining, which starts from user input in the form of symptoms experienced, then users give assurance (Certainty Factor) to describe the level of confidence on the symptoms experienced. Output application is whether children under five suffer from malnutrition or the type and value of certainty to be output, advice should intake received toddlers and ways of handling children malnutrition

Abstract

Analysis of business processes by observing the existing system is the main issue to produce information systems according to the needs of the company. Any search of problem solutions when doing business process is performed by a system approach. Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) is one of the methods currently used to build information systems. The method includes the building of activity diagrams, event table, class diagram, usecase diagrams, usecase description, state chart diagrams, deployment and software architecture, first-cut design class diagram, simple sequence diagram (SSD), sequence diagram (first-cut, view layer, data access layer), communication diagram, updated design class diagram, package diagram, persistent object, and user interface. The results obtained after performing all phases of the method is an information system based on the needs of companies that is expected to improve the performance and effectiveness of the company's business processes and support the business goals.
