In this paper, a novel scheduling scheme for the Fourth Generation (4G)-Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) network is proposed to ensure that end to end traffic transaction is provisioned seamlessly. The scheduling scheme is divided into two stages; in stage one, traffic is separated into Actual Time Traffic (ATT) and Non-Actual-Time Traffic (NATT), while in stage two, complex queuing strategy is performed. In stage one, Class-Based Queuing (CBQ) and Deficit Round Robin (DRR) are used for NATT and ATT applications, respectively to separate and forward traffic themselves according to source requirements. Whereas in the stage, two Control Priority Queuing (CPQ) is used to assign each class the appropriate priority level. Evaluation of the performance of the integrated network was done according to several metrics such as end-to-end delay, jitter, packet loss, and network’s throughput. Results demonstrate major improvements for AT services with minor degradation on NAT applications after implementing the new scheduling scheme.

This paper deals with the challenging problem of navigation in formation of mobiles robots fleet. For that purpose, a secure approach is used based on visual servoing to control velocities (linear and angular) of the multiple robots. To construct our system, we develop the interaction matrix which combines the moments in the image with robots velocities and we estimate the depth between each robot and the targeted object. This is done without any communication between the robots which eliminate the problem of the influence of each robot errors on the whole. For a successful visual servoing, we propose a powerful mechanism to execute safely the robots navigation, exploiting a robot accident reporting system using raspberry Pi3. In addition, in case of problem, a robot accident detection reporting system testbed is used to send an accident notification, in the form of a specifical message. Experimental results are presented using nonholonomic mobiles robots with on-board real time cameras, to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Scintillation is a rapid fluctuation of an electromagnetic waves in terms of phase and amplitude due to a small-scale inconsistency in the transmission path (or paths) with time. Scintillation exists continuously throughout a day whether during raining or clear sky conditions. The raw signal data need to exclude other propagations factors that include signal fluctuations to further understand the scintillation studies. This paper presents the analysis of tropospheric scintillation data from January 2016 till December 2016 at Ku-band frequency of 12.202 GHz beacon signal. The experimental data from MEASAT 3B were collected and analyzed to see the effect of tropospheric scintillation. The elevation angle of the dish antenna is 77.45o. The highlighted objectives are to analyze the scintillation data at Ku-band, and to compare and validate the results with other scintillation models. The result shows that the stipulated scintillation analysis has higher amplitude, which is 0.73 dB compared to other scintillation analysis which has lower scintillation amplitude: 0.45 dB (Karasawa), 0.42 dB (ITU-R), 0.4 dB (Nadirah & Rafiqul), 0.42 dB (Van De Kamp) and 0.11 dB (Anthony & Mandeep).

This paper studies the issue the information security for smartphone users in Russia. The report analyses the regulations the state uses to prevent undeclared functionality and malicious programs in mobile phones in Russia; the law enforcement practice in this area; the responsibility of legal entities, officials and persons for non-compliance with the requirements for standardization, ensuring information security and violation of declaration of conformity. The paper develops proposals to improve state regulation of undeclared functionality of mobile devices providing the collection of information, including confidential data. The report discusses specific ethical issues related to privacy, including matters relating to compensation for damage resulting from the leakage of personal information and develops proposals for legal ensuring the information security of mobile phone users. The report first outlines the main actors, terms and concepts used in the report. Second the standards for mobile phone developers, although there is no guarantee of complete information security. In this case, the peculiarity of Russia is that standards used in the field of information security are voluntary. Third how law enforcement agencies protect the user community. In this case there is a potential danger that this may entail uncontrolled access of government agencies to confidential data.

This paper aims to review the previously developed Computer-aided detection (CAD) systems for mammogram screening because increasing death rate in women due to breast cancer is a global medical issue and it can be controlled only by early detection with regular screening. Till now mammography is the widely used breast imaging modality. CAD systems have been adopted by the radiologists to increase the accuracy of the breast cancer diagnosis by avoiding human errors and experience related issues. This study reveals that in spite of the higher accuracy obtained by the earlier proposed CAD systems for breast cancer diagnosis, they are not fully automated. Moreover, the false-positive mammogram screening cases are high in number and over-diagnosis of breast cancer exposes a patient towards harmful overtreatment for which a huge amount of money is being wasted. In addition, it is also reported that the mammogram screening result with and without CAD systems does not have noticeable difference, whereas the undetected cancer cases by CAD system are increasing. Thus, future research is required to improve the performance of CAD system for mammogram screening and make it completely automated.

This article presents the simple basic sizing approaches to decrease overall weight of motor and improve magnetic characteristics in PM motor. A review on various stator design in PM motor i.e. radial-flux or axial-flux with slotted or non-slotted is presented. As magnetic and electric loading influence the electromagnetic motor performance, modification on stator body are included in investigation for a desired electromagnetic torque performance. Influences of tooth body width sizing and additional stator slots sizing in PM motor equip with hemicycle stator design are carried out. Two designs are included, both having similar semi-circle stator but different in additional slot tooth within and over 180 ○ i.e. Design 2 and 3 respectively. For optimization using 2D-Finite Element Analysis, optimal tooth body sizing and additional stator tooth result the weight significantly reduce by 44%, 5.9 Nm output torque and 30% torque ripple.

The estimation of the fundamental matrix (F) is to determine the epipolar geometry and to establish a geometrical relation between two images of the same scene or elaborate video frames. In the literature, we find many techniques that have been proposed for robust estimations such as RANSAC (random sample consensus), least-squares median (LMeds), and M estimators as exhaustive. This article presents a comparison between the different detectors that are (Harris, FAST, SIFT, and SURF) in terms of detected points number, the number of correct matches and the computation speed of the ‘F’. Our method based first on the extraction of descriptors by the algorithm (SURF) was used in comparison to the other one because of its robustness, then set the threshold of uniqueness to obtain the best points and also normalize these points and rank it according to the weighting function of the different regions at the end of the estimation of the matrix''F'' by the technique of the M-estimator at eight points, to calculate the average error and the speed of the calculation ''F''. The results of the experimental simulation were applied to the real images with different changes of viewpoints, for example (rotation, lighting, and moving object), give a good agreement in terms of the counting speed of the fundamental matrix and the acceptable average error. The results of the simulation show this technique of use in real-time applications
