Abstract

This paper describes the concept of khalifah fil’ardi as representatives of God in conserving nature. This study aims to instill awareness of energy derived from natural resources. This type of research is the research library (Library Research) and this research is a qualitative descriptive study. Based on the analysis and the data that I researched, the author concludes that a comprehensive knowledge about energy awareness is the basis of the khalifah fil’ardi. Realizing energy awareness in society becomes the latest concept of khalifah fil’ardi.

Abstract

Problems of the environment now show an alarming rate. Various facts environmental destruction on Earth has made its inhabitants disturbed. This paper seeks patterned library research and browse for Islamic contribution in solving this problem. As a result, Islam gives a great attention to the various problems of human life, including the environment. This formulation is different from Western modernist views of scientists who tend to use a technical approach only, without looking at other aspects. In fact, using a technical approach alone is not sufficient, but it also requires other approaches, including the transcendent and profane.

Abstract

This study examines Marx's theory which says that in the process of capitalization, small land farmers will be displaced by large land farmers. This study uses a qualitative approach with the method of Participatory Action Research (PAR). Using the techniques of participatory observation in the field, the study conducted in-depth interviews on farmers. Analysis of the data used is inductive. This study led to the conclusion that Marx's theory does not happen in Aman malar. The cause of the decline of agriculture due to declining soil nutrients, the high cost of production, land use and climate change. While the strategies of small land farmers to sustain life is to do the planting patterns of intercropping, do extra work, and manage finances.

Abstract

This article determines the the attitude of society in Pekalongan batik industry with regard to predictors of confidence in their perceptions of the pillars of faith and religious activities. By using the quantitative research approach, the result of research: first, the belief in the pillars of faith affect only 10.8%, so the result was not significant; second, the perception of religious activity affects at 18.5%, so the results are significant; and third, the belief on the pillars of faith and perception of the religious activities collectively contributed 23.6%. So the latest result is significant.

Abstract

Hisab and rukyat is a way to know the turn of the month. This study shows several findings. First is the correlation between Kuraib traditions and differences in the determination of the beginning of Ramadan, Shawwal, and Dhul-Hijjah in Indonesia. Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia has stated that Indonesia as a whole into a single jurisdiction (wilayatul hukmi). Second, on the success rukyat al-hilal in one area that applied to other regions of earth. Important to know that the first visibility of the new moon does not cover the entire face of the earth on the same day, but splitting it into two parts: (1) part of the West to see the new moon, and (2) part of the East were not able to see the new moon.

Abstract

Pesantren is a basic for the development of human values. Education in pesantren pay attention to aspects of human potential as well as religious social beings, as well as individuals who have the potential to unleash capacities. This study sought to uncover implementation education in Pesantren Sya'fii Akrom Pekalongan whose perspective is religious humanism. The field research revealed that the process of learning between teachers and students occurs with intense interaction patterns that uphold human values and religion, so that education in pesantren Shafii Akrom is called religious humanism education. This can be seen in the well-built humanitarian values. The mutual respect, patience, diligence, discipline and values ​​of tolerance developed become the main indicators of education based on the values ​​of religious humanism.
