The Journal of Innovation in Business and Economics (JIBE) is published by the Department of Economics and Business at University of Muhammadiyah Malang in 2017. Previously this journal was known as Jurnal Media Ekonomi that was initially published in 2000. In 2011 until 2016, this journal was renamed as Ekonomika Bisnis: Jurnal Penelitian dan Pemikiran. JIBE is a generalist; academic review covering all fields of business, management, accounting, and economics. The journal seeks to examine the emerging and state of the art future innovations in business, economics and management made possible by advances in information, communication, and technologies. We welcome contributions covering all fields of business innovations including, but not limited to information, communication and technologies applications in business, cost and revenue model, business ethics, business strategy, applications of innovation in business and management, entrepreneurship & innovation, information systems, international business & cross-cultural studies, marketing, organization studies, general management as well as micro and macro economics.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of the relationship of individual characteristics, organizational culture, and organizational commitment to employee performance and motivation as a moderating variable in the study of plant employees outpatient Hospital Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang. Poor This research is explanatory. Samples in this study used a sample of 113 respondents 84 employees who work on installation of outpatient Hospital Dr. Results of analysis Partial Least Square (PLS) This study shows that the individual character relationships, organizational culture, different organizational commitment remains significant positive effect on employee performance, motivation to strengthen the relationship between individual characteristics, organizational culture, and organizational commitment to employee performance.Keywords: individual characteristics, organizational culture, organizational commitment, motivation, employee performance.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of job characteristics on the performance, test the effect of motivation as a moderating variable job characteristics on the performance and test the effect of the work environment as moderating variable job characteristics on employee performance of PT Sarana Division. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 8 Surabaya. The sample used in this study is a random sample of 207 people. The results of the analysis Partial Least Square (PLS) this study shows that the job characteristics significant positive effect on employee performance, motivation positive effect was not significant to moderate the influence of job characteristics on the performance of employees, work environment positive effect was not significant to moderate the influence of job characteristics on the performance employee Divisi Sarana PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 8 Surabaya.  Keywords: job characteristics, motivation, work environment, employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to the positioning of brand loyalty , how positioning the brand to trust , how to trust in the loyalty and how to position the brand loyalty through customer confidence in their loan JATIM on Branch of Batu City. Sampling obtained from 100 respondents credit customers BPR Jatim on Branch of Batu City, studies using Patial Least Square ( PLS ) and the obtained results of research are positioning the brand effect on loyalty , positioning the brand effect on confidence , trust affect the loyalty and positioning the brand effect on loyalty through trust BPR JATIM on Branch of Batu City.Keywords: Brand Positioning, Loyalty, Trust

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) the effect of compensation, the influence of leadership styles, influences the characteristics of marketers on work motivation, 2) the effect of work motivation, the effect of compensation, the influence of the characteristics of marketers to performance marketers, 3) the effect of compensation, the influence of leadership style , the effect on the performance characteristics of the sales force through a sales force motivation. This research is quantitative descriptive. The population of this research is all marketers in PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Jombang branch sales force numbering 170 persons, comprising 136 personnel and 34 micro marketers of retail sales force. Samples are 136 respondents taken by purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques are questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the management accountability of Village Fund Allocation (ADD) in Kedungbetik. This qualitative research through data reduction method, data presentation, and verification used as data analysis. The results indicate that the planning and implementation of ADD in the village of Kedungbetik is accountable, ADD planning is based on the program proposed from village and evaluated through discussion forum at the village level. Disbursement procedures and distribution of ADD in accordance the rules of Jombang Regent No. 17 of 2015, Regulation No.113 of 2014 and the allocation of funds based on priorities. Accountability report of the ADD integrated with APBDes accountability. Management constraint is lack of understanding of village officials in implementation the ADD.Keywords: Accountability , Accountability of Village, Management

Abstract

Expansion of cellular network that provide faster data access makes rivalry between cellular operator switch from voice and sms to data service. This study has an objective to explore the influence of brand position to consumer choice behavior with consumption values as moderating variable based on Theory of Consumption Values in the context of XL data service. Brand positioning as a marketing stimuli has an important role as value creation that create a value to fill the consumer wants and needs. Hypothesis testing was performed with Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) on data collected from 163 mobile data users. This study proves that consumption values as mediator to connect the relationship between brand positioning and consumer choice behavior.Keywords: Brand Positioning, Consumption Values, Consumer Choice Behavior, Telecommunication, SEM-PLS

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to how servant leadership style, employee performance and employee loyalty. To determine the effect of servant leadership style on employee loyalty, servant leadership style on employee satisfaction, employee satisfaction to employee loyalty, as well as the mediating role of employee satisfaction in PT. Bank Syariah Mandiri Malang. The samples in this research using random sampling with quota sampling technique gained 60 respondents employees at PT. Bank Syariah Mandiri Malang. Model structure equation modeling (SEM) type PLS (partial least Square), come to the conclusion: servant leadership style significant positive effect on employee loyalty; servant leadership style positive effect on employee satisfaction; Employee satisfaction is not significant positive effect on employee loyalty; and employee satisfaction does not mediate between servant leadership style on employee loyalty.Keywords: Employee Loyalty, Employee satisfaction, Servant Leadership Style, The Role of Mediation

Abstract

Compensation is also self motivation factor for employees, where those things end in high-low level of work result or performance. This research purposes to test the effect of transformational leadership style, compensation, and motivation of employee’s performance, motivation as an effect mediator from transformational leadership style and compensation to employee’s performance in PT. Bo Kyung Pasuruan. This research is explanatory. In this research uses 96 samples from 2719 employees that work in PT. Bo Kyung Pasuruan. The result of Partial Least Square (PLS) this research shows that transformational leadership style is positively effected but not significant to motivation and employee’s performance. Motivation affect transformational leadership style of employee’s performance, and motivation does not influence compensation of employee’s performance in PT. Bo Kyung Pasuruan.Keywords: Compensation, Employees Performance, Motivation,Transformational Leadership.
