Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce games letter word in the learning of basic locomotor movements physical education at Elementary School third-grade students in District Gunungpati 2016. This research is the development, product development procedure includes needs analysis, literature review and observation, the initial product manufacturing, design validation by the experts, the trials I, product revision, the second large-scale trials, expert review and the final product. Data is collected using questionnaires obtained from the expert evaluation, field observations and the student questionnaire. A descriptive data analysis techniques percentage. The results of the analysis of the initial product of 91% then declared eligible. The observation and the student questionnaire on a small scale trial gained (81.6%). The test results of large-scale expert (95%) to be eligible and could be used. The observation and questionnaire on large-scale test was (86.6%) are feasible and can be used. On a small scale trials and large-scale increase in the observation and questionnaires to students of (5%). It can be concluded that the game is a good letter word that is feasible and can be used as an alternative to the basic motion locomotor learning materials in elementary school third-grade students in District Gunungpati.

Abstract

This study aims to clarify the impact of sport specialty in physical self concept and gender, and also the difference in the dimension of the physical self concept. A sample of research is made up of 169 sportsmen in different disciplines from Chlef’s sport league with an average age of 18.3± 2.45 (soccer , volleyball, athleticism). The Physical self-description questionnaire (PSDQ) was used to measure the concept of physical self-according to multidimensional perspectives. The research results have demonstrated that the kind of sport discipline practiced by high level players has an impact on their understanding of their physical selves, and the second results might assert the general approximation which we are about to speak about. Gender issue influences self-esteem in relation to individuals, yet in the field of sport, we realize that males and females are equal at the level of all other dimensions of the questioner.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to figure out the development of karate extracurricular in SMA N 1 Slawi, SMA N 2 Slawi and SMA N 1 Bojong. This is a qualitative research with percentage descriptive approach. The result shows that there are some disadvantages in the development of karate exracuriccular so that the student’s karate achievement in Tegal Regency is not maximum. First, there is no selection for athletes. Second, the programs for training have not been implemented well. Also the coaches do not have legal certificate. Third, the infrastructures for karate have not supported the athlete’s achievement yet. Fourth, the management of karate organization does not run well. The last, karate extraxurricular does not get enough funds to support their activities. Based on the data obtained from the research, it can be concluded that there are some constraints which hamper the efforts to get higher achievement in karate.

Abstract

Sport Development Index is a way to measure the improvement of sport development in a region. This research measures sport development by using sports human resource management in Padang as the indicator. The purpose is to discover the quality of sports human resource management in Padang examined from Sport Development Index and to analyze the availability of sports human resource. This research is conducted in Padang, West Sumatra Province, by taking data from 3 institutions as the scope of studies including the Education Authority, National Sports Committee of Indonesia (KONI), and a local non-formal institution. The research method applies qualitative and quantitative approaches. The qualitative data is collected through observation, document analysis and interview, while the quantitative data is taken by using a norm method of Sport Development Index. The result shows that the number of sport development in Padang based on the index of sports human resource management is 0.00082. According to the Sport Development Index, this number is within the range of 0.000-0.499. It means that sports human resource management belongs to low category quantitatively and qualitatively, or in the other words the quantity is deficient and the quality is low. To conclude, the sport development in Padang belongs to low category, thus the regional government needs to pay more attention and improve the sport development in the city.

Abstract

The purposes of this recearch were to examine the influence of direct and indirect learning approaches on free throw result in basketball, the difference of free throw result played by students with good and poor hand-eye coordinations, and the interaction influence of learning approach and hand-eye coordination on the result. This research applied experimental method with 2x2 factorial design. The population within this study was male students in 5th semester of the major program. Purposive Random Sampling was used as the sampling technique. 40 students were taken as the samples, in which students with good and poor hand-eye coordinations were equal. The analytical technique of this study belonged to ANOVA to use SPSS 22 and 5% significancy. Study result showed the difference of significant influence between direct and indirect learning approaches on free throw result, for p-value = 0,045, smaller than 0,05; the difference of increase in the result from students with good and poor hand-eye coordinations, for p-value = 0,035, smaller than 0,05; and the interaction of learning approach and hand-eye coordination on the result, for p-value = 0, 012, smaller than 0,05.It is concluded that there were differences of the significant influence between the learning approaches on free throw result, the free throw result from students with good and poor hand-eye coordinations, and there was an interaction influence of learning approaches and hand-eye coordination on the free throw result.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know (1) the difference between the influence of the ratio of anaerobic interval exercise 1:3 exercise, anaerobic interval and the ratio of 1:5 against shooting underbasket results, (2) the difference between the ratio shooting results underbasket height: long legs and high ratio of height: long limbs are low, (3) the influence of the interaction between exercise anaerobic interval ratio and the ratio of height: the length of the limbs results shooting underbasket. This research uses experimental methods with a 2 x 2 factorial design. Based on the results of the analysis of the data shows that: (1) there is a significant influence on the differences between the ratio of anaerobic interval exercise 1:3 exercise anaerobic interval and the ratio of 1:5 against results shooting underbasket, pvalue < 0, 05. Influence of exercise anaerobic interval with the ratio of 1:5 has better results than an anaerobic interval workout with a 1:3 ratio with average results respectively 9 and 8, 43, 43. (2) no difference shooting results significant underbasket between height ratio: the ratio of height and limb length height: long limbs, pvalue < 0.05. Results of shooting underbasket earned by the sample with a ratio of height: the length of the limb with a low category better than the sample with a ratio of height: long limbs with high category with average results each 19.14 and 16.67. (3) there is the influence of the interaction between exercise anaerobic interval ratio and the ratio of height: the length of the limbs results shooting underbasket, pvalue < 0, 10.

Abstract

Physical education, health and sports is an integral part of the overall education, aiming to develop physical fitness, skills of motion, critical thinking skills, social skills, reasoning, emotional stability, moral action, aspects of healthy living patterns and the introduction of clean environment through physical activity, sport and health selected planned systematically in order to achieve the goals of national education. Physical education, health and sports are the attempts to embody the whole person in the school, either from a basic to intermediate education level.Table tennis is one of the Physical education learning material taught in elementary school. However, the reality in the learning process has not been implemented optimally because the table was not proportional to the number of students. Thus the need to win and the modifications to the game, make students more actively in learning. The problems that plagued the school made teacher’s creativity in developing models of learning a new, yet fun and in accordance with the objectives of the learning that has been set. Modification of the learning game of ping-pong was one of the efforts that must be realized. Learning the ping-pong game through the happy bouncing ball game was expected to make children more actively engaged in a variety of pleasant situations and conditions, while following the learning of table tennis game.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify and review about open space sport owned by the Unnes support the conservation of the physical quality of the civitas academica. In this study the method used is descriptive survey method with a quantitative approach in terms of Sport Development Index (SDI). The source of this research data obtained from the sample and research the informant, the technique used is the Puposive and Snowball Sampling and research instrument used is the interview, observation and data analysis used in this research is quantitative approach with the use of SDI analysis dimension of open space. The results of this research data is a number of open spaces sports that are on the Unnes is 24 temples with a total area of 31,161.72 m2, while the total population of civitas academica totaled 37,700 souls, next in the index could open space sport in Unnes is 0.236. The index values can be summed up open space obtained shows that if in the review of the norms of SDI (Sport Development Index) the availability of open space at Unnes is still in the low category.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to create ball thrower which is utilized for motor skill practice for volleyball athletes. This research utilized qualitative approach, and major data gained through observation, interview and documentation. The procedure used was research and development model by Borg and Gall, which contains of 10 steps as follow: (1) information research and collection, (2) planning (3) developing product’ initial form, (4) initial field test, (5) major product revision, (6) major field test, (7) operational product revision, (8) operational field test, (9) final product revision, (10) dissemination and implementation. Ball thrower tool model can be used for motor skill practice, safe and secure as well as improving practice result. Volleyball AW_2016 Launcher tool models can be used to exercise the skills of volleyball athletes for motion.

Abstract

Implementation research is aimed to know the school health program in the District SDN Sambungmacan along with factors inhibiting and supporters. SDN 15 research sites in the District of Sambungmacan, Sragen. Target research on the implementation of the UKS in SDN District of Sambungmacan, Sragen. Data collection methods used were interviews, direct observation, document tracking and documentation. The scientific approach is qualitative descriptive survey. Results of the study is the UKs implementation in 15 districts Sambungmacan SDN can already be implemented but there are still some obstacles in the field of health education, health care, healthy physical environment of the school. The conclusion that the 4 elementary schools in the District Sambungmacan UKS execution has been carried out with all the indicators that support. 11 State Primary School in District Sambungmacan, Sragen implementation of the UKS has been implemented and there are still obstacles, such as: the provision of health education materials for students needs to be improved, health services for students, especially medical examinations (eye, ear) has not been granted. UKS implementation Sambungmacan State Elementary School District of Sragen can be run and implemented in cooperation with health centers, Unit of the Department of Education and parents.
