Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of tourist attraction to the visitor decision at Alahan Panjang Resort Danau Diatas. This type of research is quantitative descriptive form of the causal connection. The population in this study is the average number of guest visited 3.107 people per month. The number of samples in this study are numbered 97 people were tajen using the formula Riduwan. The sampling technique is non probability sampling., (purposive sampling). Collecting data using a questionnaire based on Likert Scale which has proven is validity and reliability. Result of simple linear regression analysis obtained Fcount 113.831 with sig 0,000<0,05, then the variable can explain the variabel tourist attraction with R Square of 0,0545. This means that tourist attraction affects to the visitor decision by 54,5% and 45,5% influenced by other factors.Keyword:Tourist Attraction, Visitor Decision

Abstract

This research was based on the lack of utilization of local raw materials such as orange sweet potato flour in the processing of dry sus. Sweet potato orange was used to reduce dependence on flour. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of substitution of orange sweet potato flour as much as 20%, 40% and 60% on external quality (volume, shape and color), and internal quality (smell, texture and taste). The type of this research was pure experiments (true experiment) with randomized data design method used was primary data sourced from 5 expert panelists by proposing the organoleptic test format. Analyze data using ANAVA, if Fcount> Ftable then proceed with Duncan test. The results showed that there were significant effects on external quality (volume, shape and color) and internal (aroma, crisp texture and taste, except hollow texture).Keywords: Orange Sweet Potato Flour, Dry Sus, Quality

Abstract

This research aims at how a leader action like supervisor for a few job description which is focused to controlling and guidance. After the researcher doing a observation in The Axana Hotel, Padang City, there is a some problem about controlling and guidance. Research purposes is for observe, knowing and describing for restaurant supervisor job description. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research type. This research was conducted at The Axana Hotel, Padang City with adresses Bundo Kandung Street No. 14-16, Padang City. Abstract

This study aimed to describe the interest of students, the intrinsic factor(aptitude and motivation), extrinsic factors (the role of parents and peers),determine the influence of factors of intrinsic and extrinsic factors in choosing theStudy Program of Family Welfare (Prodi PKK) Department of IKK FPP UNP.The research type is quantitative descriptive research. The population of thisresearch is students of PKK Study Program of FPP UNP Class of 2012-2016registered in semester of January-June 2017 as many as 211 people. Samplingtechnique using Stratified Random Sampling technique with a sample of 68people. Data collection with questionnaires using Likert scale and analyzed byregression. The results showed the interest of students in the high category(79.65%), the intrinsic factor (aptitude and motivation) high category (80.56%)where talent is very high category (85.18%) and motivation high category(74.22%). Extrinsic factors (the role of parents and peers) very high category(81.32%), where the indicator role of parents is very high category (88.26%) andpeer high category (74.38). Based on the F test the intrinsic factors (talent andmotivation) and extrinsic factors (the role of parents and peers) give effect of33.1%. Persisally (t test) intrinsic factor (talent and motivation) influenced studentinterest 27,7% with 25% talent and motivation 9.4%. Extrinsic factors (the role ofparents and peers) affect student interest 19.5% with details of the role of parents13.9% and peers 11.8%. So the biggest factor influencing the student's interest inchoosing the PKK Study Program of IKK FPP UNP is the intrinsic factor of talentand motivation.Keywords: Talent, motivation, parent's role, peers, Interests

Abstract

This Research aims to understand Attraction of Aroma Pecco tourism Kayu Aro. The kind of research is descriptive research with qualitative data. data collection techniques was carried out by using observation and interviews. In this research involving informants as many as 2 people management of Aroma Pecco tourism KayuAro using purposive sampling technique and 3 people of community and 4 people of Visitor using snowball sampling technique.Analysisdata by means of the reduction of the data , presentation of data and retrieval of conclusion. Result in this research indicates Aroma Pecco Tourism Attraction KayuArothe aspect of 1) tourist attraction has specific characteristic which obtained from natural source namely in the form of small lake which is located in the middle of the broad garden tea with in surrounded the trees, so the visitor can feel the air that was cool and fresh as well as to be supported by the strategic place because the area tourist Aroma Pecco destination located on roadside main traffic between town and district. An entertainment that held once a year , from 2) accessibilities of the distance traveled which is not too far from the center of the city that is 45 km and time 1.5 hour with the appropriate fee and the traffic being facile when normal days but there is congestion at the time of the holiday , 3) amenities the availability of the lack of facilities and infrastructure that could support tourism activities and 4) ancillary service the unavailability of store merchandise and lack of a recreational facility.Keyword: Tourism Attraction, Tourism Object

Abstract

This research aim to know how to management of tourism Muaro Binguang Beachwhich consist of 4 indicator: ( a) planning, ( b) organizing, ( c) actuating, and ( d) controlling.This research is descriptive of qualitative. Question of this research is how management oftourism Muaro Binguang Beach. Data collection technique is done by using the methode ofinterviews, observation, and the documentation that involves the manager of the object of tourismas well as the community surounding tourist object and tourists. A qualitative data analisystechnique that includes three activity lines are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion.Based on the result of research found some matters relating to the management of tourism MuaroBinguang Beach : 1. planning, 2. organizing, 3. actuating, and 4. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the cultural potential in the city of Jambi. This research consists of one indicator of potential tourist attraction that is: cultural potential. The type of this research is descriptive research with qualitative data. Informants in this study are: Head of Tourism of Jambi, Head of Program Development Tourism of Jambi, business cultural attractions in the city of Jambi, visitors to the cultural attractions in the city of Jambi and communities around the cultural attractions in the city of Jambi. The research found few potential of culture in Jambi, namely, archaeological sites or prehistoric form of: 1) Rumah Batu Olak Kemang, 2) Makam Habib Idrus Bin Hasan A-jufri (Pangeran Wiro Kusumo) and Makam Keramat Tambak Husein bin Ahmad Baragbah Jambi Kota Seberang, 3) Museum Perjuangan Rakyat Jambi, 4) Museum Siginjei, 5) Museum Gentala Arasy, 6) Al-Falah Mosque (Mosque of the Thousand Pillar). Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of dough mixing techniques on thequality of fresh bread which includes external quality and internal quality. Thistype of research is a true experiment conducted in August 2016 and located in theCulinary workshop. Types of data are primary data sourced from 5 expertpanelists by answering the organoleptic test format. Data were analyzed by usingindependent sample t test. The results showed that there were significant effects ofboth techniques, on the external quality of bread (volume, neat shape, rectangularshape 8 cmx 10 cm, and color), t count> t table. It means Ha accepted and on theinternal quality of fresh bread (texture, aroma, and taste) t arithmetic> t table.The best results based on the organoleptic test are found in X2 manual stirringtechnique because t count> t table (2.357, 2.546, 2.530, 3.286, 3, 536, 2. 887,3.647, 3.780, 4.333, 2.846, 2.357, 2.667> 2.30 ).Keywords: Mixing Technique, Quality, Fresh Bread

Abstract

This research background with many changes both face makeup, hairdo,fashion and bridal equipment and the meaning contained into it. The aims of thisstudy to describes bridal makeup in Talawi Subdistrict Sawahlunto City, WestSumatra province that see the changes that occur in makeup, hairdo, fashion andequipment, and meaning itself. The method used is descriptive method withqualitative approach, where the researcher observe the object as it is in the field.The instrument used by the researcher. Data collection techniques for this studyusing observation techniques, interviews and documentation. The results obtainedthrough data reduction, then performed the presentation of data and the lastwithdrawal of conclusions, the results of this study found that Talawi weddingmakeup ancient times very simple to use many of natural materials while nowusing modern tools, materials and cosmetics from various brands. The hairstyle ofthe bride formerly used a Lipek Pandan bun, now more practical hairstyle onlytied one back. Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of tourist attraction in Agrowisata Balai Benih Induk (BBI) of Lubuk Minturun Padang, such as, there is no entertainment and recreation services at agro rides BBI, the least of the event activities in agrotourism meeting room BBI and the lack of souvenirs offered by agro tourism BBI Lubuk Minturun Padang. This research aims to determine the strategy of developing tourist attraction that has indicators in the form of tourist attractions, amenities and anchillary services are viewed from internal factors in the form of strengths and weaknesses and external factors in the form of opportunities and threats. This research is a descriptive research with qualitative data. Data collection technique is done by interview and observation that involves informant by using purposive sampling and snowball sampling technique. Development strategy of tourist attraction that can be done is in the form of: 1) Optimizing the function of land by developing tourism activities such as providing rides games and mini garden. 2) Develop MICE event in meeting and gazebo sessions such as holding workshops and agricultural exhibition. 3) Provide souvenirs by utilizing culture and network techniques.Keyword: strategy, development, tourism, agrotourism
