Abstract

Kecamatan Harau merupakan salah satu kecamatan di Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota dimana terdapat UMKM yang memproduksi makanan khas Gelamai. Saat ini gelamai hanya dijual dalam sajian konvensional dan pengemasan yang tidak representatif, sehingga belum memiliki nilai jual tinggi sebagai produk unggulan Sumatera Barat. Program Pengembangan Produk Ungulan Daerah ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra yakni tentang modifikasi produk Gelamai hingga pengemasan untuk industri skala kecil. Kegiatan ini secara khusus bertujuan untuk Peningkatan pengetahuan yang lebih baik tentang manfaat coklat sebagai antioksidan bagi tubuh dan dikombinasikan dengan gelamai sebagai makanan spesifik dan produk unggulan Sumatera Barat, mitra mampu mengolah gelamai dan coklat menjadi berbagai varian rasa yang memenuhi persyaratan kesehatan dan keamanan pangan sehingga layak untuk dipasarkan. Dengan demikian hasil olahan gelamai yang diproduksi memiliki nilai ekonomi yang lebih tinggi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni hingga bulan November 2018 di Jorong Lubuk Jantan, Nagari Harau, Kecamatan Harau melalui metode ceramah dan tanya jawab serta demonstrasi, latihan dan pemberian tugas dari instruktur kepada peserta pelatihan, dan bimbingan. Produk yang dihasilkan selanjutnya dilakukan uji organoleptik oleh panelis ahli untuk mengetahui kualitasnya dari segi bentuk, warna, aroma, tekstur, dan rasa. Kata kunci: Program Pengembangan Produk Unggulan Daerah, Diversifikasi, Gelamai, Coklat, Kualitas.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the condition of Batu Kalang Beach attraction that looks less well maintained. The purpose of this research is to describe the management of Batu Kalang Beach object which includes: planning, organizing, directing, and supervision. This research type is descriptive qualitative. Sources of research data taken from informants Tourism Youth and Sports and Creative Economy, managers of tourist attractions, and the community around the object of tourism. Selection of informant as data source using Purposive Sampling technique. Data collection by interview, observation, and documentation. The results of the study describe the management of Batu Kalang Coastal Tourism area of South Coast Regency is not maximal yet. This can be seen based on each indicator that is: (1) planning of tourist object for long term that is doing development and for short term as a developing tourism object. Planning that is still common has not led to the development of tourist attractions, (2) organizing the work of tourism object managers in the form of technical tasks operational and technical support. Organizations implemented by managers are still in general, so there is no work specification, (3) direction is done byreminding each other by the officer of tourism object management about tasks to be done, (4) supervision done by Tourism Office, manager, and society.Key words : The Management of Tourist Attractions

Abstract

This research is grounded on the lack of people’s knowledge about traditional food,food serving equipment and food arrangement technique, and mean of food tradition. Thisresearch is purposed to: (1) describe types of Central Java’s traditional food, (2) describethe meaning of traditional food, (3) describe food’s serving equipment, and (4) describefood arrangement technique in traditional wedding ceremony of Central Java in SungaiJambu village. The type of research is qualitative research, and object of research istraditional food for wedding ceremony of Central Java. Data collected by snow ballsampling technique. Data analyzing include reduction, display, and verification ofconclusion.Results come from this research show that wedding ceremonies in SungaiJambu village had been contaminated by outside culture, such as performance stage, food,equipments, and arrangement technique, so the ceremonies is not as Central Java native’sceremony. Therefore, it is important to get elder and young generation to take a role inmaintaining the culture and preventing from the loss and outside culture’s influence. Abstract

This research aims to determine the strategy for the promotion of tourist destinations Tourism Office of West Sumatra with bulk sales indicators, sales promotions and direct marketing are seen from the internal factors of the strengths and weaknesses as well as the external factors in the form of opportunities and threats. This research is descriptive research with qualitative data. Engineering data collection done by the method of interview, observation, and documentation involving the informant by using purposive sampling technique. The strategy of the promotion of tourist destinations can be: 1) cooperation with several companies such as civilian airlines to promote tourist destinations in the inflight magazine. 2) cooperating with the Office of tourism in other provinces to barter in conducting promotional activities tourist destinations. 3) maximize the use of the media promotion in open areas such as billboards or billboards. 4) follow more tourism promotion activities at the national and international levels.Keywords: Promotion Strategy, Tourist Destinations

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the adoption of Sapta Pesona Attraction in Fort Fort De Kock Bukittinggi which includes seven indicators Sapta Pesona namely: safe, orderly, clean, cool, beautiful, friendly, and memories. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. This study population is the average monthly number is 8231 people. The number of samples in this study are numbered 99 people were taken by using the formula Riduwan. The sampling technique in this research is non probability sampling (purposive sampling). Data collection techniques using a questionnaire based on the Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that the overall application of stepping in attraction Fort Fort de Kock Bukittinggi classified in the category quite well with the average value score of 176.99 in the range of 160 - <200 with the interpretation of the percentage of 46.47%, while under each each indicator are: for safe, orderly, clean, friendly and reasonably good memories of the category and to cool and beautiful in both categories.Key Word: Application, Sapta Pesona, Tourist

Abstract

This research to analyze the profitability of Kyriad Bumiminang Hotel before and after corporate rebranding period July-December 2015 and July-December 2016 using five profitability ratios. This research is a descriptive research with comparative method. The data used in this research is secondary data. Technique of data collecting done by using method of documentation. The results of this research indicate that 1). Average PM Hotel Bumiminang before doing corporate rebranding 17.2% and after doing corporate rebranding 38.7%. There was an increase after a corporate rebranding of 21.5%. 2). Average ratio of OER Hotel Bumiminang before corporate rebranding 22.20% and after corporate rebranding 40.52%. There was an increase after the corporate rebranding of 18.32%. 3). Average ratio ROA Hotel Bumiminang before corporate rebranding 2.60% and after corporate rebranding 3.47%. There was an increase after the corporate rebranding of 0.87%. 4). Average ROE ratio of Hotel Bumiminang before corporate rebranding (18.60%) and after corporate rebranding of 16.72%. There was an increase after the corporate rebranding of 35.32%. 5) Average ratio GOPAR Hotel Bumiminang before corporate rebranding Rp. 100,346.8 and after corporate rebranding Rp.253.147,04. There was an increase after the corporate rebranding of Rp.152.800,7.Keywords: Analysis, Profitability, Corporate Rebranding.

Abstract

The purpose of research is to determine the Effects of Promoion mix to Guest Buyer Decision in HW Hotel Padang. This type of research is a comparative study causal. Population in the research amounted to 1400 people. Sampling technique is non probability sampling, using insidental sampling. Number of sample in this research amounted to 94 people. Data collection using a questionnaire based with the Likert scale that tested for validity and reliability.  Based on these results by using the t test showed that the five indicators of the promotion mix (Advertising, Personal selling, Sales promotion, Public relations, and Direct marketing) buyer decisions as the dependent variable significantly with the value of R square of 0.813.

Abstract

The purpose in this research to describe the role of supervisionat housekeeping department Royal Denai Hotel Bukittinggi that have five indicators are: supervision of human resource, materials, equipment,standart operating procedure and work area. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the consumption patterns of fish that includes the frequency of fish consumption, the type of fish consumed, the amount of fish consumed, forms processing, methods of cooking fish, reasons to eat fish and protein content of the fish consumed. Type of research is descriptive. Techniques in the determination of the sample is proportional random sampling. The population is children under five. The samples in this study were 35 children under five. Data collection tool that interview, format Questionari Food Frequency (FFQ) and the format of 2 x 24-hour recall. The results showed that the frequency of fish consumption among children under five is 3-4 days / week. Types of fish that frequent consumption of fish is mujair, nila and teri. The average number of fish consumed 63.75 g / hr. Forms processing and cooking of fish is often done curing and frying. Reasons parents give to children under five fish because fish is good for health and growth of children. The average protein content of the fish consumed 10-20 grams / day.

Abstract

The purpose of research is to know and revealed how motivation work andemployee performanceAnd the influence of Work Motivation on EmployeePerformance of operational departement, This research is quantitative descriptiveresearch with causal associative method. Population in this research is allemployee of operational part Kyriad Bumiminang Hotel Padang, 40 samplingtechnique technique in this research using total population technique, Datacollection techniques with a structured questionnaire based on Likert scale thathas been tested for validity and reliability. Then used normality, homogenity andlinearity and Simple linear regression and coefficient of determination test, usedSPSS 16,00.
