Abstract

This study aims to determine the management Attractions Rimbo PantiNature Reserve Pasaman. This type of research is descriptive qualitative andquantitative research (mixed method). This study consists of four indicators,namely management: Planning is focused on the preservation and protection offlora and fauna. Organizing managers led by a Head of Tourism. The briefing is toinvite and communicate to all members to create a positive impression ofattractions. Supervision is done by janitors and security in the attraction. Thequestionnaire results travelers and tourists say less well choose not to come backto attractions with a percentage of 57%. Suggestions rating for the manager is topay more attention again in pengelolaaan attraction especially in tourist facilities.Key Words: Planning, Organizing, Directing, Actuating

Abstract

Typical Batik Tebo yet well know neven Tebos ociety, because theproblem sare fearedlostits cultural value. This study aimed to describe about thecraft of Batik Tebo which includeforms ofmotive, the meaning containedin themotif, as well astools andmaterials for batik making techniquesin the studioMursida Tebo. The method usedin this researchis descriptive methodqualitatively.Collecting datain this studyis doneby usingthe techni ques of observation,interview sand documentation. Datareviewed andanalyzed byt he stepsof datareduction, data presentation. Data validation was donewith the extensionofobservation, increa sepersistene and triangulation.The results showed that BatikTeboconsists of 11. motif batik bambu runcing, motif batik sialang rajo, motifbatik buah manggis,motif batik rebung nyengum, motif batik serat kayu rengas,motif batik tapak kudo, motif batik bungo tanjung dan buah sawit, motif batiktapak kudo buah sawit, motif batik bungo tanjung,motif batik bungo paku danbuah sawit dan motif batik pawn(koin). Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of substitution of banana flour kepokas much as 15%, 30% and 45% of the wheat flour used to the quality of brownishyellow color, uniform shape, form a neat, crescent-shaped, fragrant aroma ofbanana kepok, brittle texture, sweetness , and the banana flavor kepok. Theresearch is a pure experiment with completely randomized design method usingthree repetitions with 30 panelists. The results showed that the substitution ofbanana flour kepok effect on the quality of brownish yellow color, forms a neat,crescent shape, fragrant aroma of banana kepok, crumbly texture and taste ofbanana kepok that in general there is good value in treatment 45% (X3) than theother treatmentsKeywords: influence, banana flour substitution kepok, quality cookies

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the intake of food children (1-5 years) which includes a menu, frequency, portion, and how to give the food. The method of this research is descriptive with qualitative data. The informant on this research are mothers who have children (1-5 yerars) and total the informants was determined with Snowball sampling method. The method to get information are observation, interview and documentation process. the results showed that the intake of food who children at Tanjung Tanah, Danau Ketinci subdistrct, Kerinci regency, Jambi province, based the indicator menu of food children which not refer to B2SA (diverse, nutritious, balance and safe). Based the indicator portion, portion, the portion of rice and vegetable not in appropriate to the advice DepKes RI. The next indicator is based on the food who children (1-5 years), not in accordance with the recommendation DepKes RI and the based on food frequency indicator, was refer to the recommendation DepKes RI.Keyword : Food Supply, Children (1-5 years), Tanjung Tanah Village

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the relationship between facial shapecorrection knowledge with practical learning outcomes makeupeducation student of Makeup and Beauty Family Welfare Departmentof the Faculty of Engineering, State University of Padang. This studyuses a quantitative method with a correlation type approach, with apopulation of 37 people. While the samples are all made in the samplepopulation which is 37 student class of 2014 or Total Sampling.Instrument research using a questionnaire (questionnaire) in the formof objective test that has been tested for validity and reliability. Dataanalysis was performed using the percentage level of achievement ofthe respondents (TCR), correlation using Product Moment formulafollowed by t test for basic decisions accepted hypothesis. The resultsshowed that the percentage achievement of respondents KnowledgeCorrection Face Shape variable (X) is 80% with high and variablecategories of practice learning outcomes makeup (Y) was 77% withmedium category. The relationship between the two variables are at ascore of 0760 with interpretation strong relationships, t test stating thatthe alternative hypothesis which says There is a positive andsignificant relationship between knowledge Correction Face Shapewith Learning Outcomes Practice Student Makeup Makeup Educationstudy program and Beauty KK FT UNP " received at the 95%significance level because the t count> t table (123 215> 2,021).Keywords: Knowledge correction, face shape, learning outcomes,makeup

Abstract

This research is motivated not influx attraction Tugu Jepang Air Bangis Beach into 10 major destination attractions in West Sumatra. This research aimed to describe potential of Tugu Japan Air Bangis Beach which include (a) what to see, (b) what to do, (c) what to buy, (d) what to arrived and (e) what to stay. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. The data of this research is the potential attraction of Pantai Tugu Jepang Air Bangis. Techniques of collecting data using interviews, observation and documentation involving informants namely attraction manager (5 people), traders around attractions (7 people), as well as visitor attractions (10) using Snowball sampling technique. results of the research are Tugu Japan Air Bangis Beach no fit into 10 major destination attractions  West Sumatra. It is seen by 5 main condition Tugu Japan Air Bangis Beach tourism destination not meet these requirements to the maximum five. Abstract

The bench is one of the lace crafts products owned by the local communityKotogadangAgam regency of West Sumatra. The purpose of this study was todescribe decorative lace bench based motif, colors and materials, equipment andmanufacturing processes as well as products of craft lace bench at AmaiSetiaFoundation Kotogadang. The technique of collecting data through interviews,observation and documentation. Data analysis technique is data reduction datapresentation and conclusion.The study states that the decorative lace bench mosthave a motive Flora, fauna and motifs inspired by the shape of the object. Abstract

  This study aimed to describe about the craft of SongketBungoTanjung which includes decorative and the meanings which contained in Songket motifs Tenunan Sogket Bungo Tanjung. The method used is descriptive qualitative method. Collecting data in this study was using techniques of observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the SongketBungoTanjung consists of six motifs derived from naturalist decoration which have functional characteristic namely: KapalSenggat, Duren Pecah, Kembang Duren, Teratai di Atas Air, Teratai di Dalam Air and Merak. While, the decorative pattern which used to fill the field of ornamental patterns and decorative patterns symmetrical periphery. As the meaning of the motif is Kembang Duren means a child that must be given knowledge from childhood, Teratai means flower that grows in Bungo and into the first history which came to Bungo, Duren Pecah means the people who is knowledgeable will always be good at keeping themselves, Motif KapalSenggat means in life we have to be introspective and cautious, Merak implies the meaning of the sacrifice of a mother is very large. key word: Songket, Bungo Tanjung

Abstract

The purpose of research is to describle the teacher tutor perception about the personal and social abilities S1 culinary student in program work field education experience in vocational school in West Sumatera Tourism. The method of this research is using ex post facto with the total population are 43 people. The research implemented in 9 vocational school in West Sumatera for a month. The results of this research found that generally the perception of teacher tutor about the ability S1 culinary student in category as sufficiently with percentage 62,79%. Further, indicator the ability of personality in category sufficiently with percentage 60,46%. Abstract

This research is motivated young people in the city of Padang whogenerally prefer food in fast food restaurants that have differences in thepopularity of several types of fast food restaurants. Teens tend to prefer fast foodrestaurants although had to queue to order food and expensive prices. This studywas to describe the brand image of fast food restaurants for teenagers in the cityof Padang. This research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this studywere young in Padang amounted to 37 591. The sample in this study amounted to99 respondents. The sampling technique acquired through non-probabilitysampling method with purposive sampling. Deploy data collection techniquesbased on Likert Scale questionnaire. Data analysis covers: validity and reliability.Overall brand image of fast food restaurants in the average score of 140.71 in therange of 125 - <148 with image indicators is well. Be based category average of59.54 manufacturers currently on the score 53 - <63 in both categories, theindicator average consumer image 47.84 in the range be at the score> 50 withvery good category, the indicator image of the product at an average of 33.34 wasthe score 31 - <37 with both categories.Keywords: Brand Image, restaurant, Teens
