Abstract

PT Belibis Muda Perkasa Palembang is a pharmaceutical distribution company that still employs manual methods in its sales processes. Sales representatives visit customers, such as pharmacies, hospitals, and drugstores, to offer products. Orders are placed through the sales team and manually recorded by the admin using physical invoices and Microsoft Excel. This process results in inefficiencies, susceptibility to recording errors, and challenges in real-time stock monitoring. This study aims to design a web-based sales information system to address these issues. Data collection methods include interviews, observations, and literature studies. The system is designed using the Laravel framework, MySQL database, and Agile development model. The proposed system is expected to allow customers to place orders independently at any time without waiting for sales visits. Additionally, it is designed to support automated sales reporting, improve recording accuracy, and enable real-time stock monitoring. By implementing this system, the company is anticipated to enhance operational efficiency and provide better accessibility for customers.

Abstract

Everything is changing with the transformation of the digital world, including app-based online motorcycle taxi services. These services have become a major innovation that simplifies users' transportation needs. In Indonesia, Gojek and Maxim are among the popular applications, including within the environment of Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (UIGM) Palembang. Their popularity has drawn attention to understanding the competition and the value they offer. Using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method, a comparison between Gojek and Maxim reveals the strengths and weaknesses of each. This method evaluates aspects such as attractiveness, efficiency, perspicuity, dependability, stimulation, and novelty. The UEQ questionnaire was distributed to 100 respondents. The analysis results showed that Gojek scored positively on 5 variables (attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, novelty) and neutral on 1 variable (stimulation). Meanwhile, Maxim scored positively on only 1 variable (perspicuity) and above average on 5 variables. The comparison indicates that Gojek significantly outperformed Maxim in 4 variables with higher average scores, making it superior in delivering a better user experience compared to Maxim.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) remains a serious public health problem in Indonesia. In rural areas with limited infrastructure, conventional disease monitoring methods hinder effective dengue prevention. This study aims to design and implement a Web-Based Geographic Information System (GIS) to map the distribution of DHF cases in the working area of Puskesmas Karya Maju. The system is developed using the Agile method through stages of observation, system design, implementation, and testing. The application is built using Laravel, MySQL, and Leaflet.js and includes features such as interactive maps, patient and village data, and real-time statistical visualization. Black Box Testing ensures that all features function correctly. The results show that the system helps improve dengue surveillance and facilitates better decision-making for prevention.

Abstract

This research aims to classify a person's income based on demographic attributes using Random Forest algorithm, which is one of the popular ensemble learning methods in the field of machine learning. The dataset used is Adult Income from the UCI Machine Learning Repository, which consists of more than 32 thousand data with 15 attributes such as age, gender, education, education level, employment type, marital status and others. The research process includes data preprocessing, model pipeline creation, training, and performance evaluation. Preprocessing was done through the removal of irrelevant attributes, normalization of numerical data, and application of one-hot encoding on categorical data. The model was trained with default parameters and evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and confusion matrix metrics. The evaluation results show that the model achieved an accuracy of 85.44%, with higher performance in classifying income classes ≤50K than >50K. The low recall value in the >50K class indicates that the model tends to be biased towards the majority class, which could be caused by data imbalance. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the model through hyperparameter tuning techniques, handling data imbalance, or exploring other algorithms such as Gradient Boosting. This research is expected to be the basis for developing accurate and applicable data-based prediction systems in the fields of economics, policy planning, and decision support systems that require analysis of individual income potential.

Abstract

School libraries play a vital role in supporting the learning process, but library management at SMA Islam Al-Amalul Khair Palembang is still done manually, causing various operational constraints. This research aims to design and implement a website-based library information system using the Agile method to improve the efficiency of library management and services. The system development method used is Agile with stages including planning, design, implementation, testing, and evaluation. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and literature study. The result of this research is a library information system that provides features for searching book collections, digital book borrowing and returning, visitor attendance, fine management, and reporting that can be accessed by librarians, students, and school principals. This system is expected to improve the effectiveness of library services through process automation, structured data management, and provision of information that is easily accessible to all library users at SMA Islam Al-Amalul Khair Palembang.

Abstract

This study analyzes the dominant dimensions of service quality affecting user satisfaction with the financial platform application in Palembang using the E-SERVQUAL method. Conducted quantitatively, the research involved 114 active financial platform users selected through purposive and snowball sampling. Data were collected via an online questionnaire measuring seven E-SERVQUAL dimensions: Efficiency, Fulfillment, System Availability, Privacy, Responsiveness, Compensation, and Contact. Analysis using SmartPLS 4.1.0.9 revealed Efficiency as the most dominant dimension (coefficient 0.266, p=0.000), followed by Privacy (0.236, p=0.001) and Contact (0.211, p=0.002), significantly influencing user satisfaction. In contrast, System Availability and Responsiveness showed no significant impact (p>0.05). These findings indicate that users prioritize transaction speed, ease of navigation, and data security over system uptime or customer service responsiveness. Most respondents were aged 18-25 (66.4%), with high school education (60.3%) and a monthly income below IDR 3 million (48.3%). The study recommends that the financial platform optimize application efficiency, enhance data protection, and improve customer service accessibility to boost user satisfaction. These insights provide a foundation for fintech platforms to refine digital services, particularly in tier-2 cities like Palembang.

Abstract

This study evaluates the performance of the New Student Portal at Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (UIGM) Palembang from the students’ perspective. The respondents include 295 active students from the Faculty of Computer Science who have used the portal for at least one semester. A quantitative approach was used with Probability Sampling. Data were analyzed using path analysis with SmartPLS 4.0, based on the USE Questionnaire, which includes indicators of Usefulness, Ease of Learning, Ease of Use, and Satisfaction. Results show that usability scored 84.25%, information quality 84.45%, and service quality 81.33%, all of which significantly and positively influence user satisfaction. The study also offers recommendations to improve the portal’s quality and serve as a reference for future research.

Abstract

Rumah Songket Cek Unah Palembang is a local business that sells traditional Palembang fabrics such as songket, tanjung, and jumputan. This business faces obstacles in marketing, payment, and reporting that hinder the business process. This study aims to design a website-based ordering information system using the agile method, which is flexible in accommodating changing user needs. This system is equipped with product catalog features, online ordering with payment integration via e-wallet, and structured sales reports. Data collection methods are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, while system testing uses the black-box testing method. This system is designed to facilitate access to product information, allow customers to order from anywhere, improve operational efficiency, expand market share, and introduce the Rumah Songket Cek Unah brand as a pioneer of original Palembang songket fabrics in the digital era. In addition, this system facilitates sales monitoring and product management through optimal feature integration.

Abstract

The myIM3 application is a digital service designed to facilitate users in purchasing data packages, topping up credit, and checking quotas. Among students at Universitas Indo Global Mandiri Palembang, this application is used to support daily telecommunication needs. However, several issues are frequently reported, such as inconsistent application stability, slow service speeds, suboptimal user experiences with certain features, and delays in processing data package payments. These shortcomings can impact user satisfaction and the application's reputation. This study aims to analyze user satisfaction with the myIM3 application among students using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) approach. Data were collected through surveys using a questionnaire based on the UTAUT model, covering four main variables: Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, and Facilitating Conditions. The data were analyzed quantitatively with the aid of statistical software. The findings identify factors affecting student satisfaction and provide recommendations for improving the application to better meet user needs.This research is expected to serve as a reference for the myIM3 application developers to enhance service quality and user satisfaction, particularly among students.

Abstract

Web-based Building Material Logistics Management Information System is designed to improve efficiency in stock and logistics management at PT Media Bersama Jaya Konstruksi. This system aims to help companies monitor and manage building material inventory in real-time, track the ordering process to material delivery, and provide accurate material usage reports. In construction projects, good stock management is very important to avoid work delays due to lack of materials. With the implementation of this system, companies can optimize the use of resources, save time and operational costs, and improve transparency and accuracy of logistics data. This system is expected to be an effective solution in supporting the smooth running of construction projects as a whole.
