Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based Employee Health Record Information System for the South Sumatra Provincial Health Office to enhance the efficiency of employee health data management. The developed system is designed to address issues associated with manual record-keeping, such as data loss, recording errors, and limited access to information. By applying the Waterfall method, the system is developed through the stages of requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The results of this study indicate that the system facilitates employee health record management, improves data accuracy, and supports more effective decision-making for the Health Office. The implementation of this system also provides real-time information access for employees and medical personnel, thereby improving the quality of internal health services.

Abstract

The use of information technology in village government is a solution to improve the quality and efficiency of public services. This study aims to design and build a web-based village administration information system in Nagrak Village to replace the manual system which is considered ineffective and inefficient in responding to community needs. The development method used is the Waterfall System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model which consists of five stages: needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The results of the system design include main features such as login, registration, letter submission, status checking, and letter verification by the admin. This system is also equipped with an interface that is designed to be simple, responsive, and user-friendly to facilitate all levels of society, including lay users. Through UML modeling, including use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and sequence diagrams, the system flow is clearly visualized to describe the work process between actors in the system. The implementation of this system shows a significant increase in the speed of service, accuracy of administrative data, and transparency and accessibility of services. In addition, the system makes it easy for village officials to manage correspondence digitally. This study recommends further development in the form of a mobile application and integration of automatic notification features so that the system is more adaptive to community needs and is able to reach wider users in real time.

Abstract

Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) is a service provided by the UIGM Library to support the academic needs of students, particularly in accessing thesis collections. Although this system has supported access to academic information, there are still limitations, particularly in the presentation of data that is not yet detailed. This requires users to come directly to the library to obtain comprehensive information. This condition poses a unique challenge for working-class students, given the time constraints they face due to work schedules that do not align with library service hours. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of OPAC in supporting students in finding thesis references and to identify the factors that influence its effectiveness based on the Delone and McLean model. The research results show that out of the nine hypotheses tested, six were accepted and three were rejected. These findings indicate that information quality, system quality, usage, and user satisfaction significantly contribute to the effectiveness of OPAC in thesis reference searches. Nevertheless, the effectiveness of OPAC still has room for further development.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a web-based village administrative service information system for the Ulak Kemang Baru Village Office. The system is designed as a solution to various issues faced in manual administrative services, such as slow document processing, inefficiencies in document management, and limited time and accessibility for the community. Through the web-based system, the community can submit administrative requests online, while village officials can manage data in a more structured and efficient manner. The software development method used is the Prototype method, which enables iterative system development involving user feedback. The system design process utilizes Unified Modeling Language (UML) for system modeling, while system implementation is carried out using PHP and MySQL. The system testing was performed using the blackbox method, which focuses on testing system functionality without considering internal implementation details. The results indicate that the information system can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of village administrative services. The system successfully provides key features such as user registration, document submission, verification by village officials, and report generation. Based on the testing results, all major system features function as expected according to user requirements. With this system, it is expected that administrative services at the Ulak Kemang Baru Village Office will become faster, more transparent, and easily accessible to the community, supporting the digitalization of public services at the village level.

Abstract

Meran Jaya Palembang Enterprise is a business that provides services and sells school supplies, including uniforms and other items. Currently, all operations are conducted manually, resulting in numerous problems such as difficulties in tracking order status, stock recording errors, and low efficiency in generating sales reports. This research aims to design and implement a web-based information system using the Agile method. The system is designed to meet various needs, including customer data management, service ordering, and automatic and real-time sales processes. The Agile method was chosen for its ability to adapt to rapidly changing business requirements. The system was developed using PHP programming language and MySQL database for data storage, and tested using Blackbox Testing method to ensure its performance. Research findings indicate that this computer-based information system can improve operational management efficiency, reduce recording errors, accelerate transactions, and enhance customer service quality. With this system, it is expected that Meran Jaya Palembang Enterprise will become more competitive, organized, and responsive to customer needs in the digital era.

Abstract

Momona Betung Pharmacy is a pharmacy located on Jl. Raya Betung - Jambi Ward I RT.004 RW.002 Betung District, Banyuasin Regency, which focuses on public health services, especially in selling medicines for adults and children. Momona Betung Pharmacy experiences problems in managing drug supplies because the system used is still conventional. The main problems include difficulties in monitoring real-time drug stocks, inaccuracies in recording expiration dates, slow information retrieval processes, and inefficiencies in reporting. This research is intended to create a website-based pharmacy management platform called GoApotheca by implementing the FIFO method to overcome this problem. The FIFO method was chosen to ensure drug quality by arranging sales based on the first items received. This system was prepared and developed using the Agile method, with design using UML, and utilizing the PHP and MySQL programming languages as a database for data storage, where testing of this system was carried out using the black box testing method. The results of this research indicate that a computerized system can increase the effectiveness of managing drug supplies, speed up transactions, increase recording accuracy, and provide the public with the latest information about pharmacies. It is hoped that with this website-based GoApotheca application, the Momona Betung Pharmacy management system can become more structured, accurate and efficient.

Abstract

Efficient and transparent public services are an essential need for communities in today's digital era. This study aims to design and develop a Public Service Information System (SIPeMas) at the Pipa Reja Palembang Village Office to overcome service problems that are still carried out traditionally. The main challenges faced include slow service processes, lack of clarity in procedures, difficulty integrating data, and low levels of public satisfaction. The research method used is a system development approach with the agile method, which includes steps for data collection, needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The system developed includes online service registration, data integration between types of services, information on procedures and requirements, notification of application status, and monitoring and evaluation of service performance. The types of services integrated into the system include making marriage introduction letters, certificates of poverty, certificates of not having a house, death certificates, domicile certificates, and certificates of not being married. This research focuses on the Pipa Reja Palembang Village area as a case study. Additionally, this system provides ongoing assistance to the village in monitoring and evaluating service performance. It is expected that SIPeMas can be an example of a service information system for other government agencies, as well as encourage the improvement of the quality of public services through the use of information technology.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze customer review sentiments towards Pempek Cek Ida products ordered through the GoFood service on the Gojek application by utilizing the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm. This study has two main objectives: classifying customer review sentiments into positive and negative categories, and evaluating the accuracy of the applied classification model. The data used in this study consisted of 135 customer reviews collected manually through data crawling in the period 2020–2022. This research framework uses the SEMMA (Sample Explore, Modify, Model, Access) method. The analysis process begins with a preprocessing step, including cleansing, case folding, tokenizing, filtering, and stemming, to prepare the raw data. The data is then weighted using the Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) method before being classified using the SVM algorithm. Model evaluation is carried out using a confusion matrix to calculate accuracy, precision, and recall, and validation using K-Fold Cross Validation. The results of the study show that the SVM algorithm has good performance in classifying review sentiments with a high level of accuracy with an accuracy level of 70.88. This research provides strategic benefits for Pempek Cek Ida in understanding customer perceptions, improving product quality, and making service improvements based on customer sentiment data. In addition, this research also contributes to the development of the application of machine learning-based sentiment analysis methods in the culinary sector.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate student satisfaction with the use of the Digitalent application using the End-User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) and Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) methods, with analysis conducted through the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software. The study involved 100 respondents who had used the Digitalent application. The analysis revealed an expectation score of 4.33 and a perceived performance score of 4.26, resulting in an average satisfaction gap (GAP) of –0.08. The variable with the highest gap was accuracy (–0.16), while the smallest gap was found in timeliness (–0.01). The IPA quadrant mapping highlighted several indicators that require improvement, as well as those that should be maintained. Overall, the Digitalent application is considered effective and beneficial for users, although some aspects still need enhancement to reduce the satisfaction gap and improve the overall user experience. This study concludes that Digitalent effectively supports the achievement of digital training goals, particularly for students.

Abstract

The development of information technology in the era of globalization has had a significant impact on various aspects of life, including education. The use of technology in education aims to facilitate academic management in higher education. Universitas Indo Global Mandiri utilizes this technology through an academic information system called NewLecturer. This system is designed to support lecturers in various academic activities such as filling in grades, viewing schedules, uploading learning materials, and printing Lecture Minutes (BAP). Previously, the Lecturer.uigm.ac.id system was used; however, it had limitations in sharing learning materials, so it required integration with the E-Learning System. With the launch of Newlecturer in the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, lecturers can now access various academic services on one platform. However, since its implementation, there has been no measurement related to the level of lecturer satisfaction with the NewLecturer system. This study aims to analyze the quality and level of lecturer satisfaction with the system using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach. The results of the study are expected to provide valuable input for the evaluation and development of the NewLecturer system, aiming to improve the quality of academic services at Universitas Indo Global Mandiri.
