Abstract

Prediction water level is still done using statistical methods. However, problems will arise if the research done on dynamic systems, as well as the water level prediction system. Artificial neural network technology can properly identify data patterns of a dynamic system. This study was conducted to predict the height of water in Bogor using rainfall data, evaporation and water level, observations in 2009-2010. The design of the prediction model using neural networks backpropagation with MATLAB software. Characteristics of artificial neural networks used are: 1 input layer with two neurons (precipitation and evaporation), one hidden layer and one output layer (water level), the value of the learning rate of 0.9; momentum of 0.1; 3 hidden neurons, error tolerance of 0.0001 and a maximum of 10000 epoch The experimental results by looping earned 10 times the average error was 10.93%, and it can be concluded that the system can properly predict the height of the water

Abstract

Improving the quality of human resources for the company to its employees is needed to be able to increase the growth of the company for the quality of its employees. Systems Information Technology is currently developing very helpful in making accurate decisions. PT. XYZ is a company engaged in the field of Software Developper, very closely with Human Resources issues that continue to rotate to follow the needs of service users, resulting in a less effective employee performance. This study uses a comparative assessment of the C4.5 algorithm, Neural Network and SVM using PSO technique using Rapid Miner software by comparing several classifications. The results of this study is to produce a model that can support decision making in terms of objectively determining the model employee.

Abstract

Rapid development of information technology and communication allows company management to better optimize their service quality. Based on the result of study in PDAM JAYA (Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum JAkarta RaYA), the delivery of improperly prepared customers’ summary reports is an particular issueraising due to inadequate IT facilities. Strategic Planning for Information System is used to optimally support the function and role of the company in monitoring and controlling two Private Partners. Methodology used will apply some steps from Tozer framework, while some other analysis methods used to support this research are : SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats), Critical Success Factors (CSFs), McFarlan’s Application Portfolio, Value Chain, dan PEST (Political, Economic, Socialand Technological). The result of this research will provide an Information System / Technology strategic solution with technical supportsfor IT facilities suitable to use by the company so that the companycan efficientlyfulfill its needs in the future and rearrange the information technology architecture by adding a number of other supporting facilitiesin order to anticipate the increase of online data capacity management in Private Partner

Abstract

With the decreased economic activities in mining and oil industries and the fierce competition in heavy equipment industry, PT Trakindo Utama (PTTU) intendsto restructure its company, particularly its information technology development that canfully support its business and improve its service to customers which is the objective of this journal. To restructurethe technology supporting those two matters definitely needs strategic and thoughtful planning. Then, Enterprise Architecture Planning methodology is choosen to providean enterprise-scale solution to those matters. The result of the planningincludes data, application and technology architecture planning and the technical aspects of its implementation. This journal is expected to provide an alternative solution to PTTU in doing strategic planning appropriate and useful for the company in the future.

Abstract

The parameters of ripe papaya quality consisting of starch content, total soluble solid and water content must be measured by conductinga time-consuming and destructivelychemical analysis. NIR spectroscopy isa non-destructive, accurate, fast methodthat can substitute the such chemical analysis. This study aims to predict starch content, total soluble solid, and water content using NIR spectroscopy. 60 pieces ofpapaya of IPB 9 varietyat the part of top, middle, and bottom was measured with 3 replications. Starch content can be well predicted by NIR spectroscopy with pre-treatment of combination between msc and dg1, as indicated by the model generated by the R, SEC, SEP, CV, and RPD of 0.90, 0.17% 0.16%, 10.95%, and 2.15 respectively. Total soluble solid can bewell predicted by NIR spectroscopy with pre-treatment msc R, SEC, SEP, CV, and RPD, as indicated by 0.90, 0.124%, 0123%, 4.85%, and 2.27 respectively. Similarly, the water content can be well predicted by NIR spectroscopy with pre-treatment dg1 R, SEC, SEP, CV, and RPD, as indicated by 0.84, 0.03%,0.04%, 0.43%, and 1.85 respectively

Abstract

Steganography more commonly known as hiding some message in a picture, on this methods that have previously known as cryptographic. Development methods steganography more better then cryptographic, where method steganographic not limited to only one method. On case using file images or call stego images more secure and suspected by others who do not have assess right to the files. Method be compare of Least Significant Bit (LSB) and the End Of File (EOF)of course, each method has advantages and disadvantages Through this researchanalyze which method is more effective and efficient to hide a short message in the form of text format. In addition, the results of the literature study authors wanted to develop the application of steganography. See and learn both methods is expected that development will do better and be able to cover the shortfall the previous.

Abstract

This journal aims to determine the quality and nature of the weldability of boiler pipes are still good and after use for 10 years. As a reference temporary repairs to a pipe leaking boiler. Steps to be done is to compare the test results of mechanical properties and microstructure of both types of the pipe. The parameters used are hardness, tensile strength and microstructure of both types of pipe. The test results on the pipe that is good value average hardness of 148 HV, while the broken pipe an average hardness value of 118 HV a decline of 30 HV. Tensile tests on pipes that are good value tensile strength of 50 kg / mm2 (490 MPa), the broken pipe grades tensile strength of 40 kg / mm (392 MPa), a decline of 10 kg / mm (98 MPa). The test results are good pipe microstructure consisting of ferrite and pearlite structure while at the broken pipe consisting of ferrite phase. In accordance with the results of hardness testing in which the phase of ferrite and pearlite harder than the ferrite phase. The final conclusion is that the pipeline after use for 10 years has decreased mechanical properties, namely: hardness and tensile strength. This is a result of the depletion of the wall thickness due to corrosion

Abstract

Universities need to seek the quality of lecturers. Indraprasta University is an institution with the great number resources with great potential. The lecturers have passion to keep learning, so academically skilled, dedicated and good ethical. Basically, the lecturer must master many subjects, while the subjects’ control are vary. In addition, there is no knowledge manager system yet for the lecturer, to store, discuss and utilize the joint development of knowledge related to college teaching materials. This motivated the author to build a knowledge management system to improve the competence of lecturers, by optimizing communication lines knowledge. The study was conducted using qualitative research method, case study type, with the concept of Amrit Tiwana framework model, tested with FGD and model of ISO 9126 (functionality, reliability, usability, and efficiency). Outcome is a web-based KMS prototype with features lecturer data input, subjects input, discussion forums, loading and downloading files, file searches.

Abstract

A library system is designed to be directly used by students in borrowing books. SMPN 196 is located in East Jakarta. It doesn’t have a library system that is used to process transactions, including the process of borrowing up to the returning of books by the students. Therefore, a desktop application is needed tofacilitatethe borrowing or returning of books by the students. This research is an Applied Research in whichdata are collected by direct observation, library research and interview methods. The library system model is developed using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) approach. The Modeling used to analyze and design the information system is Object-Oriented Analysis and Design with Unified Modeling Language (UML). Validation test applies Focus Group Discussion. The Quality of the resulted software is tested based on four characteristics of software quality model of ISO 9126: functionality, reliability, usability and efficiency, with a quisioner method and software testing technique using Software Testing Webserver Stress Tool 7. The Library Desktop System Prototype is expected to contribute to SMPN 196 and to service students, so that the desired information can be quickly and accurately obtained and the relationship with the students can be improved.

Abstract

Currently,a loan is one of profitable business with a high risk. Many classification methods have been suggested in the literature to overcome this problem. But most are not accepted by experts for various reasons. Therefore,it is necessary to identify and distinguish between good and bad members so that the interested parties can take anactionto prevent nonperforming loans. This study usesSupport Vector Machine (SVM)Model to process the data on cooperative loan members either those in trouble with the installment payment or not. The result of the test by measuring the performance of the algorithm using the test method confusio matrix and ROC curves shows that the Support Vector Machine algorithm has high accuracy. In conclusion, it can be applied to determine the feasibility of a cooperative loan.
