Abstract

SUHEP lamps are designed as an alternative lighting during the day for a closed room. The research method used in the form of an experiment in the difference in the concentration of bleach in SUHEP lamps to produce lighting that meets the standards of 100 - 250 Lux. Tool for measuring the value of light intensity is a luxmeter and the resistance value at 5 mm and 12 mm LDR using an avometer. The relationship of light intensity with resistance is influenced by several factors namely the smaller the size of the LDR is, the greater value of resistance is because the surface area of the light intensity is getting smaller. Another influencing factor is the greater the room temperature value is, the greater the value of the light intensity is. The comparison of the concentration of bleach to water also shows the greater concentration of bleach is, the smaller the intensity of the light is although this is also very sensitively influenced by the weather. Based on the results of the research it is found that each sample of the light intensity of the SUHEP lamp ranges from 172 - 201 lux and the value of the resistance produced by 5 mm LDR ranges from 800 - 1200 Ohm while by 12 mm LDR, resistance value ranges from 600 - 800 Ohm. From the research results it can be concluded that the ideal concentration between bleach and water in the SUHEP Lamp is 5%: 95% for 201 lux.

Abstract

Research on the distribution of noise level in settlement near the KRL (Electric Train) railway is conducted in Tebet Timur Dalam settlement, DKI Jakarta to determine if the Threshold Value (NAB) of noise in the settlement is by standards or not. If not, then a recommendation is needed to reduce the noise. The data are collected in two weeks, during which the grid method is used to determine the coordinates. Noise level data collection at each point is carried out within 24 hours of six time periods. The mapping of the distribution of noise is conducted using the Surfer application with kriging method, with data in the form of coordinates and measurement results. The coordinates are obtained using an android application called UTM Geo Map. The measurement results show the highest LSM noise level is at a distance of 20 meters in Gang C of 80.5 dBA, while the lowest LSM data result is at a distance of 80 meters from the noise source at Gang B of 54.2 dBA The recommended safe distance to establish a settlement is above 80 meters because it is according to the NAB. Another recommendation to reduce noise is to provide a barrier in the form of trees or concrete walls that limit the edge of the railway at a minimum distance as far as five meters from the residential area.

Abstract

History lesson is generally only in the form of manual text accompanied by several images. It is as usually found in textbooks during school. Writing history is not far from rigid, flat and long writing,  making history lesson less interesting to learn, with most school students considering it to be boring lesson. The purpose of this research is to change people's interest in studying history and to provide additional knowledge on how to make an application about introduction to Indonesian history. The application is useful for general public, especially for elementary school students to facilitate the process of learning Indonesian history. The research method used to design and create an introduction to Indonesian history is a grounded research method. After designing and making an application about introduction to Indonesian history, the researcher concludes that the application can provide solutions helping students to know the Indonesian history more easily. The created application help to make  a learning method more effective and enjoyable.

Abstract

In this increasingly modern era, technology has become a must in improving performance in every organization and various other activities. One example of the application of technology that will be explained in this research is the design of a web-based e-voting system in the election of Abang None Jakarta by inserting an E-KTP numbers to be able to cast a vote in the election. Previously, the selection of Abang None Jakarta still uses SMS voting system that is considered to be less effective because the use of credits is considered more wasteful than the use of internet quota. In developing this web-based e-voting system, the researcher uses the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) method and the Caesar Cipher algorithm method for voter data security. Besides that, the Gateaway SMS system is used to prevent any voter who uses someone else's E-KTP before casting a vote in an election. The e-voting system is made using the PHP and Xampp programming languages as its database. The e-voting system is expected to be used in making a transparent decision, speeding up the voting counting process, saving costs and preventing fraud when implementing e-voting in the election of Abang None Jakarta. The results of research is proven successful in terms of both the use of the web to conduct the election and the use of security in encryption and decryption of user data.

Abstract

Minimum Spanning Tree (MST) or often called Minimum Weighting Spanning Tree (MWST) is a path or edge search algorithm that connects all vertices in a connected graph and does not form a circuit with a minimum weight. The classic algorithm used to solve MST problems is the Prim’s and Kruskal’s algorithms. The problem of minimum spanning tree is a problem related to optimization in finding the minimum weighted edge that can connect all vertices). MST is widely used in computer science such as to determine access points, build networks and many more. The purpose of this reserarch is to find new solutions that can provide alternative MST solutions besides classical algorithms such as Prim and Kruskal. This experimental research uses a weighted adjacency matrix approach,  with weight taken from the minimum side in each pair of matrix to produce a minimum spanning tree. This new solution can be an alternative in solving the minimum spanning tree problems.

Abstract

ISPA (Acute Respiratory Infection) is a disease that occurs due to respiratory tract disorders that can cause a variety of diseases ranging from asymptomatic illnesses, mild to severe infections due to environmental factors. The lack of public knowledge about the symptoms, how to treat it and how to overcome it result in a fairly high mortality rate due to ISPA. The expert system to be created is intended to make it easier a person to diagnose ISPA by adopting human knowledge into a computer system so the expert system is able to solve problems like an expert does. Expert system application  is made using the Naive Bayesmethod because the Naive Bayesmethod is the best classification method with high probability when used in its system calculation. With this application, people will feel like they are consulting with a doctor or an expert who handles ISPA. This application is built based on websites that use the PHP programming language, Codeigniter framework and MySQL database. There are 104 training data and 39 testing data that have been tested. From 39 tests, there are 36 test data that are suitable and there are 3 test data that are not suitable. Accuracy obtained from the test is of 92.3%.

Abstract

Housing is derived from the word house which means a place that has a place to live which will stay or stop in a certain time. Housing is a residence that has been grouped into a place that has facilities and infrastructure. The problem in this study focuses on the type of residential ownership in the form of SHM ART, SHM Non ART, NON SHM and others. These four types can be used to know the percentage of ownership in all provinces in Indonesia. Due to the fact that there is still a lot of information about the type of certificate ownership, there is still not much ownership. Therefore, the use of the k-Means algorithm as a data mining concept in the form of clusters, where the data already has parameters or values that fall into the category of unsupervised learning. That data produced the best. The data was obtained from published sources of the Republic of Indonesia government agency, namely the Central Statistics Agency data with the category of household processing with self-owned residential buildings purchased from developers or non-developers by province and type of ownership in 2016 throughout Indonesia. In conducting the dataset, researchers used the RapidMiner application as a clustering process application. This research shows that there are more types of ownership in the SHM ART, but for other values it is still smaller than the value in other types of ownership which is the second largest value. So, in this case, the role of government in providing assistance in the process of ownership in order to become SHM ART is very important.

Abstract

PT. Kimia Farma Apotek engaged in the distribution of and market in healthcare products is one of companies that has not used a computerized system in terms of controlling inventory so that it often makes errors in and inaccuracies of the goods collection, resulting in the running out of goods before reordering. The purpose of this research is to design an inventory control application using the Java programming language and applying research and development methods that can produce certain products and test the effectiveness of those products. The developed application can make it easier for employees to control inventory more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Clustering which is a method to classify data easily is used for a purpose of looking at the correlation among data attributes. Clustering is also a data point grouping based on similarity value to determine the cluster center. Affinity Propagation (AP) and Adaptive Affinity Propagation (Adaptive AP) are clustering algorithms that produce number of cluster, cluster members and exemplar of each cluster. This research is conducted to find out a more effective algorithm when clustering data. Besides, to know the correction offered by Adaptive AP Algorithm which is the developed form of AP Algorithm, the researcher implemented and tested both algorithms by using Matlab R2013a 8.10 with 250 data taken from students’ GPA and the distance from their houses to campus. The analysis of test result application from both algorithms shows that the best algorithm is Adaptive AP because it produces optimal clustering. Another result is no correlation between GPA and home distance.

Abstract

The Sundanese script is the work of orthography of Sundanese people since around the 5th century AD until today. However, the lack of interesting and motivating media to learn scripts, both printed and electronic, makes the Sundanese script endangered. With the rapid development of technology and the era of digitalization as today, most Indonesian people have smartphones with Android operating systems that are easy to carry anywhere. Android is not only used as a communication and entertainment tool, but also as a method that can be developed as a learning medium that can convey learning material textually, and audio-visually. The purpose of this research is to design an easy-to-use Sundanese script learning media application and to implement an Android-based Sundanese script learning media application so that the public is interested in learning Sundanese script. The method used for application development is MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) multimedia application in education which consists of 6 stages, including Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing and Distribution. The result obtained from this study is the Android-based application of Sundanese script learning media. The application has been tested with alpha test and from the results of the test, it can be concluded that the public can easily learn the Sundanese script with an attractive appearance because this application is equipped with audio pronunciation of the Sundanese script.
