Abstract

The Middle East Respiratory Coronavirus (MERS-CoV) is a disease caused by a coronavirus. This virus is contagious, but its transmission is not as easy as the common cold, MERS-CoV virus is better susceptible to transmitting through direct contact, for example in people who care about the MERS-CoV virus without the need for virus protection. To determine the characteristics, the MERS-CoV disease virus can be identified by identifying DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid). One technique in understanding the characteristics of life is by grouping. Grouping can be done by grouping DNA into groups that have attributes and functions. The Clustering algorithm used in this study is Partitioning Around Medoid (PAM). This algorithm has the advantage that the results of the grouping process are not by following the order of entering the dataset and overcome sensitivity to noise and outliers. The purpose of this study is to implement the Partitioning Around Medoid (PAM) clustering algorithm in clustering the MERS-CoV virus. This research was conducted through a quantitative descriptive literature study. The implementation of the PAM algorithm on the MERS-CoV DNA sequence obtained 2 clusters with the highest silhouette coefficient value on the number of clusters 2, namely 0.61534. The number of members in Cluster 1 is 84 MERS-CoV DNA sequences and the number of members in Cluster 2 is 16 MERS-CoV DNA sequences.

Abstract

In maximizing the profits to be obtained the company needs optimal production planning. The plan considers the resources of the company. PT XYZ is a furniture company. This research focuses on optimizing production planning on the manufacture of door products at PT. XYZ. There are several types of products issued in: D1 type door, D2 type door, D3 type door, and D4 type door. Production planning at PT. XYZ can be seen as an integer program model, which is a method related to optimizing resources to increase profits. Optimization is done by determining the amount of production for each type and each calculating existing resources. The solution search for this model is done by the Branch and Bound algorithm. Based on the calculation results using QM software for Windows, the amount corresponding to production is obtained by using Branches and Bound giving an increase of 36.5% compared to the acquisition of PT. XYZ before.

Abstract

Healthy, safe and comfortable working conditions need to be created to increase work productivity, ergonomic aspects of the work environment need to be considered so that workers perform their duties optimally. Worker complaints can indicate that there is an unbalanced physiological workload, it is necessary to measure workload at the industrial center. The shoe industry center is one of the largest centers but the production process is still conventional, all work activities are carried out in a sitting and bending position. The aim of this research to identify the workload of workers and measure and analyze the level of fatigue using the ergonomic approach method physiologically workers. The results showed the% CVL of workers in the range of 16.5% - 21.2% which indicates there is no fatigue in workers, while the Energy Consumption (KE) of workers has a value of 1.265 which shows the physiological workload classification is very light, with oxygen consumption (V02) in the range of values 0.7-0.8 which indicates work in the shoe industry center is a medium work classification.Key Words : Workloads, Ergonomics, Physiological Workload, Muscoletal Disrorder’s (MSD)

Abstract

Information technology that is engaged in the DNA Sexing Report test business or registration of the DNA Sexing Report is a system that is still rarely used by businesses engaged in the field of DNA sexing. Awan Bird Business is a business with a registration system and the calculation is still fairly manual where the system has not been computerized. The purpose of this study is to make a design of an application for the DNA Sexing Report Registration Information System that can carry out the registration system activities and DNA test payments and report making more efficiently. The method the author uses to create a DNA Sexing Report registration information system using the programming language Java Netbeans and MySQL. The author uses Java Netbeans IDE 8.0.2 for making programs and MySQL as a database storage facility. The results of the system that was built can facilitate the admin in the process of registering DNA Sexing Report and payment of DNA Sexing Report so that it is easier to find data.

Abstract

In basic physics practicums there are some simplification of cases that aim to support the understanding of physics learning concepts. In practicum implementation there is a proof process that is carried out through an experiment and involves a formulation. This can be found in simple pendulum experiments, in which there are simplified cases that facilitate understanding of the factors that affect the pendulum period value. Therefore, this study aims to prove the value of the pendulum period based on experimental results and calculation data based on formulas. The experimental method used is to use simple pendulum props and observe the effect of pendulum mass, pendulum diameter, length of the rope, and angle deviation on the value of the pendulum period. The angle variations chosen were 15o, 30o and 45o. The results obtained show that at an angle of 15o, the magnitude of the period depends only on the value of the change in the length of the rope, while at an angle of 30o and 45o, the magnitude of the angle affects the value of the period. The pendulum mass and pendulum diameter do not affect the magnitude of the period for all angular variations. Period values obtained based on experimental results and formula calculations do not show significantly different values.

Abstract

One of the most important assets in supporting every work program implemented at the National University community is document management. In the current process, the organization will certainly produce data or documents that are not small with a variety of criteria. The number of physical documents stored in a place sometimes takes a long time to find and borrow the documents needed. The Document Management System (DMS) application is one of the problem solvers that is reliable enough to solve various problems regarding document archiving. In making a website-based DMS application using the Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) programming language, with the Laravel and Postgres framewok as a database for storing data and using the Waterfall method. The application of DMS which is supported by a website-based application makes the application accessible wherever and whenever, documents are stored centrally, and easily access data between fields

Abstract

In this era, the development of information technology plays an important role in various sectors of human life. Especially the business in the field of medical records of patients in hospitals. The impact of the development of information technology is very broad, this can be felt in various aspects of life, one of these aspects can be felt in various aspects that are affected by technological advances in the health sector. Field which is one of the supporting factors of human life, and can be said that health is the most important factor in human life. The design of this information system aims to create information systems for processing medical records of patients in providing accurate data for administration and pharmacies. Management of medical records in hospitals is designed using an integrated and computerized information system with hospital databases. in building this system used system design tools that are Data Flow Diagrams (DAD), context, Zero and Detailed and by using the Java programming language with NetBeans and MySQL databases using XAMPP.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the "ABC" electronics workshop. The problem that has been experienced by the "ABC" workshop is the process of servicing an tool is too long, one of which is the work of fan service. From the results of research conducted, why the servicing of an tool is too long because there is no standard workmanship in the service process (SOP), Laying spare parts / components that are not fixed, service equipment is mixed with goods that are not tools, layout spare parts and work tables that are too far away cause transportation (transfer of technicians) to take longer parts / tools. The method used in this research is to use the Left and Right Hand Maps. The purpose of this study is to propose improvements to work methods using maps of the right hand and left hand. The results of this study show there is a decrease in fan assembly time from 301 seconds to 276 seconds.

Abstract

The decline in employee performance at UP PTSP Makasar District is characterized by a decreased level of service time efficiency in the area of KRK and IMB licensing. In addition, the cause of the decline in employee performance is due to the behavior of employees who like to postpone work and come late to work intentionally, and also employees lack the determination of high morale at work. The achievement of the duties of UP PTSP employees in Makasar Sub-District was not in accordance with the determined time standard. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the work environment and workload on the performance of UP PTSP Makasar District employees and to know the factors that had to be prioritized to become better. The data used for research is questionnaire data which is processed by the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. This study analyzes the factors of work environment and workload using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS applications. Based on SEM output regression weights value states that there is no significant effect between work environment on employee performance. While there is a significant effect between workload on employee performance. The main priority in improving employee performance through the work environment is cleanliness in the workplace. The main priority in improving employee performance through better workloads is with work conditions at the workplace.

Abstract

Identifying the corona virus on international arrival passengers aims to find out whether the passenger has the corona virus or not. Corona virus is one of the health problems that really needs our attention now. Because this virus can cause death, and the way the virus is transmitted is very easy and fast. There are many things that can be done to reduce the spread of this virus to the territory of Indonesia, one of which is to identify the body temperature of each passenger on international arrivals at the airport. At the airport the identification of this virus is done by using Artificial Intelligence. One of the things that is the goal of developing artificial intelligence (AI) is to help humans. This often means imitating the abilities and intelligence of the person he is trying to help or replace. The tool used is the Thermal Scanner Camera that can see directly the body temperature of the passenger. And there are several kits that have been made to check directly whether there is a corona virus in the human body by using the Rapid Test and PCR Test. This research was conducted to see how important AI (artificial intelligence) is in helping reduce the spread of corona virus. According to some existing data, the use of Thermal Scanner Camera can help reduce the spread of corona virus at airports.
