Pendulum motion is an example of simple harmonic motion which undergoes back and forth motion through its equilibrium point regularly. In the motion of a pendulum there is a period which is the time it takes to travel one path of the pendulum. In determining the period of the pendulum, there are quantities that affect the period of the pendulum, one of which is the initial deviation. This study aims to prove and determine the relationship between the magnitude of the pendulum deviation with the value of the pendulum period. The value of the period of the pendulum at an angle of <100 will be different from the value of the period at an angle of >100. Experiments were carried out using Arduino as a digital practicum tool, this is because the digital practicum tool has a high accuracy value and has a low relative error. The angle variations selected are 100, 200, 300, and 400, the results obtained in the experiment show that there is a significant difference between the coefficient of variation of the pendulum and the coefficient of the pendulum period.

Two different algorithms will use different approaches. Like KNN (K-Nearest Neighbour) and SVM (Support Vector Machine), with the former calculates the closest distance between two instances, while the latter calculates the existence of hyperplane that separates two resulted classes. By using train data consisting of anomaly or noise data and using real measurement normally given by a lecturer to the students in the class to determine the students’ pass or fail in one subject, the research finds the difference between the two algorithms. The research is conducted in the University of XYZ on IIT (Introduction to Information Technology) subject. With the use of Orange Data Mining software, the research aims to give information about the suited algorithm for prediction or classification of student’s success in a related subject or others. It uses quantitative analysis with KNN dan SVM algorithms methods. Based on an assessment of several parameters, KNN is better than SVM, but SVM is better than KNN in obtaining a passing threshold value.

Covid-19 virus has become a pandemic across the world, including Indonesia. Based on the data from the Covid-19 Handling Officer Unit, the number of Covid-19 sufferers in Indonesia until February 15, 2021 reaches 1.2 million people. The number of daily cases that continues to grow has forced the government to enforce policies to work, study, and worship from home to minimize the Covid-19 transmission. The policy and many Covid-19 sufferers Indonesia affect the mental health of people, including students of Singaperbangsa Karawang University. Therefore, this research aims to diagnose the initial level of depression in students of Singaperbangsa Karawang University during Covid-19 pandemic by using data mining with Random Forest algorithm. The method used in this research is KDD (Knowledge Discovery in Database) with data used come from PHQ-9 questionnaire given to 392 respondents according to calculation of Slovin formula. Evaluation model used is 10-fold cross validation, with accuracy, sensitivity and specificity parameters. The results of the research show the depression level prediction model using Random Forest algorithm has an accuracy of 85.94%. From 392 students, 1.02% of students are normal, 47.96% have mild depressive symptoms, 36.73% have mild depression, 8.16% have moderate depression, and 6.12% have major depression.

Human fingerprints are unique in this world. This is why human fingerprints are frequently used as a form of identification or self-recognition. Human fingerprints are classified into three categories: whorl, arch, and loop. The wavelet transformation is used because it is capable of identifying discontinuous lines. Because human fingerprints contain discontinuous lines, this method is ideal for recognizing fingerprint images, which are then compared to database images. Additionally, the method of image processing with Matlab software and integration with a GUI (Graphical User Interface) is described, so that it can be used to recognize human fingerprint types.

As the vanguard of information delivery, the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology of the Republic of Indonesia has a main Web Page with a prominent role. However, it turns out that there are still many people who complain about the difficulty in operating some features on the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology's Web Page (kominfo.go.id) and about the mismatches between the features and psychological and ergonomic factors. These are the usability problems found on the kominfo.go.id page. Some parameters that can be used as benchmarks in measuring web usability criteria are comprised of Learnability, Efficiency, Memorability, Errors, and Satisfaction. The settlement method that will be used is the usability testing to be carried out by observing the users, the data of which are taken and then analyzed to produce the results to be used as a reference for improvement suggestions. Improvement suggestions are realized by redesigning the interface of the kominfo.go.id web page using several methods in designing the web page interface, one of which is a Human-Centered Design method. The usability level of the kominfo.go.id web page is quite far from the tolerance limit. It should be at least 75% efficiency level, but kominfo.go.id only gets 18% efficiency level. Therefore, it is necessary to hold the improvement of the user interface

Chili has been the most widely grown plant in Indonesia because it can bear fruit and grow in the highlands and the lowlands. Every year the market demand for chili continues to increase, even the annual price of chili tends to increase as a result of reduced chili supply and less fulfilled market demand. Besides, the crop failure experienced by chili farmers cause inflation growth in 2020 as much as 0.31%, resulting from rising prices in the food sector, including the price of cayenne pepper and red chili. The fluctuations in chili prices are strongly influenced by weather, harvest season, trade policies and the accompanying momentum. According to the background, the purpose of this study is to predict chili planting using the C4.5 algorithm. First, the researchers collect weather and price data taken from DISPERINDAG, BMKG, use chili price data on the market as a dataset to be later preprocessed to eliminate missing values, data outliers and imbalance data and then make a model that can predict chili planting. The prediction results using the rule from the decision tree have an accuracy rate of 97.8% based on the calculation of the prediction using validation data as much as 95 data

Syntax Journal of Informatics is an information system that contains a collection of scientific articles managed by the Informatics Study Program of Singaperbangsa Karawang University. Currently, Syntax Journal of Informatics does not have a feature for categorizing scientific articles based on their focus and scope. The research is conducted to classify scientific articles into categories according to focus and scope contained on Syntax Journal of Informatics’ page automatically by utilizing the text mining process. Text mining is a process that aims to get important information from the text. The method used in the research is Knowledge Discovery in Database (KDD) with stages of data selection, preprocessing, transformation, modeling and evaluation. This study will compare the classifications based on the title of the article. The algorithm used is the Support Vector Machine (SVM) using four SVM kernels, including the linear kernel, polynomial kernel, sigmoid kernel and RBF kernel. Data are divided into four scenarios by using traintestsplit, namely 60:40, 70:30, 80:30 and 90:10. The results of the study after testing the model are measured by of Accuracy, Precision, Recall and F-measure. The best results are accuracy of 70%, precision of 75%, recall of 69% and f-measure of 71% in the 90:10 comparison scenario and linear kernel.

The Tiktok application is one of the social media platform applications that often finds many loopholes to get the identity of the application's users. TikTok has experienced tremendous growth by reaching 1.5 billion users in 2019. This research uses an Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) method as a standard in the research phase to reveal the timestamps obtained from the TikTok application. The method used in this research is the National Institute of Standard Technology (NIST). The research uses forensic tools, namely Browser History Capture/Viewer, Video Cache Viewer, Unfurl and Urlebird. The result of this research shows a complete description of all digital artifacts and timestamps obtained from TikTok content. Furthermore, by using the results of the analysis in the research, it is expected that the research can help to reconstruct the content and to search for keywords from the timestamp in the TikTok application.

The Internet today has been widely used by all circles, even young children are familiar with it. However, there are some places that are still not covered by an adequate Internet signal. Therefore, this research makes an effort to create a Vending Machine that can provide a variety of Internet packages that can be used in certainly strategic places. In addition, the machine charges a very affordable price and it is very helpful for Internet users to get proper Internet access in places with very inadequate signal for Internet use. The research applies a Finite State Automata method. After this product is tested using the Finite State Automata method and given to several sources, it receives many quite positive responses, with the expectation it can help the community in enjoying Internet access.
