Abstract

Hypertension or high blood pressure is a condition where the systolic blood pressure has increased above 140 mmHg and the diastolic blood pressure is above 90 mmHg with measurement twice in a calm body condition within a span of five minutes. One of the complications of hypertension that poses a threat is stroke. Attempts that can be done to reduce the rates of death and disability due to stroke, namely preventions by increasing knowledge of stroke and implementing healthy behavior for people with hypertension. This study was aimed to determine the relationship of knowledge about stroke with healthy behavior in patients with hypertension at Karangjambu Health Center. This study used quantitative methods with descriptive correlation design and used a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used nonprobability accidental sampling with 66 respondents. Data were collected using the SRQ questionnaire for knowledge of stroke and HPLP II for the healthy behavior. Univariate analysis used descriptive correlation and bivariate analysis used the spearman rank test. Statistical test results obtained p value 0.001. It is concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge of stroke and healthy behavior in patients with hypertension at Karangjambu Health Center. The better the respondent's knowledge, the better the healthy behavior that is applied, thus the results of this study are important for Health Center officers in attempts to prevent stroke complications in patients with hypertension.

Abstract

Covid-19 patients who came to the emergency department in February 2022 are still relatively high with various degrees of symptoms from mild to severe. The condition of Covid-19 patients who came to the emergency department, some of them have already received the first dose of the vaccine to third dose (boster). However, there are also some of them have not been vaccinated at all. The purpose of this research is to know the correlation between the number of vaccines received and the degree of symptoms covid-19 patients in the emergency department. The method was quantitative research with retrospective design of cross sectional approach study. The data was taken from the Electronic Medical Record (RME) with a sample of patients who came to the emergency department in February 2022 with the age of more than 18 years old and positive antigen or PCR swab results. Research data collection was conducted in August 2022. The Research used RME to see the number of vaccines received by patients and the Guidelines of the Republic Indonesia Health’s Minister to determine the degree of symptoms Covid-19. The results showed that there was a correlation between the number of vaccines received and the degree of symptoms covid-19 patients (p value: 0,003 (<0,05)). Completeness the number of vaccine doses received can reduce the severity of Covid-19 symptoms, because it can increase immunity and provide a stronger immune response. Therefore, it is hoped that the public can follow the complete vaccination program suggested by the Government. Keywords: Degree of Symptoms Covid-19, Emergency Department, Number of Vaccines Doses

Abstract

This study was held to see the effect of Sikasih Telenursing on the anxiety of the patient's family in the Covid 19 isolation room. Sikasih (sistem informasi kondisi pasien harian) is one of the telenursing services that provides information on the patient's condition. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research design in one group (one-group pre-post test design without control). The population of this study was the family of patients who were treated in the COVID-19 isolation room, the sample used was 18 respondents. The instrument for measuring anxiety is the Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale. The results of data analysis showed that telenursing sikasih (sistem informasi kondisi pasien harian)  was effective in reducing the anxiety of the patient's family, with p value (0.014) on the third day and p value (0.020) on the fifth day.

Abstract

Background: Hypertension is a non-communicable disease that is still a health problem in Indonesia. Hypertension is one of the comorbidities that increase the risk of contracting Covid-19 disease. Hypertension is a condition of abnormally high blood pressure that is showed by systolic blood pressure of more than 140 mmHg and diastolic was more than 90 mmHg. Objective: This study aimed to determine the influence factors on the occurrence of blood pressure increase in patients with hypertension in the COVID-19 pandemic era at Pantai Gemi Village. Methods: This is quantitative research with a descriptive correlation design and uses a cross-sectional approach. The sample used in this study was 79 respondents who suffered from hypertension taken by total sampling technique. The instrument of this study was by questionnaire about factors related to the incidence of hypertension. The analytical method using Kendall tau. Results: There was a relationship between the consumption of salty food 0.000, family history of 0.002, saturated fat consumption of 0.001, exercise habits of 0.003, and the most dominant factors influencing the incidence of hypertension in Pantai Gemi Village showed a significant value of 0.000 and a t-value of 4.887. Conclusion: It can be concluded that there is a relationship between food consumption such as saturated food with family history and there is no relationship between genders, body mass index (BMI) with the occurrence of hypertension at Pantai Gemi Village. Abstract

Hypertension is a non-communicable disease that has a fairly high incidence. The World Health Organization (WHO) in 2019 reported 1.13 billion people in the world had hypertension. While the Basic Health Research (2018) reports that hypertension in Indonesia based on a doctor's diagnosis in the population shows that there are 63,309,620 Indonesians who suffer from hypertension. Hypertension is an important public health challenge in adulthood worldwide. However, in developing countries, appropriate treatment is often still not optimal. Adherence to antihypertensive medication can have a major effect on blood pressure control. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with adherence to hypertension control. This research method uses correlational descriptive with a retrospective research design. Collecting data using secondary data from patient medical records with a sample of 201 respondents (purposive sampling). The analysis technique used binary logistic regression test at a 95% confidence level. Factors related to hypertension control compliance are age (2.4%), education (3.5%), occupation (11.7% contribution) and the most dominant factor related to hypertension control compliance is occupation with 11.7% contribution.
