ABSTRACT This research was conducted as there was a problem signifying that a child with dyscalculia in the fourth grade of SD Negeri 09 Koto Luar Kec. Pauh Padang got difficulties in doing multiplication. To deal with this condition, this research was aimed at testing whether the use garismatika methods could improve multiplication ability of the student with dyscalculia in the fourth grade of SD Negeri 09 Koto Luar Kec. Abstract: This research was conducted based on the problem found in the field indicating that many children were enrolled to school under the age specified by the government (seven years old). It was assumed that the children who went to Elementary School earlier found some obstacles in learning. This was quite different from those entering school by the age of 7. To deal with this problem, the researcher was interested to reveal whether there was any correlation between chronological age when entering school and the children learning achievement at SDN 09 Koto Luar, Padang. This was a correlational research which was intended to see whether one variable had a correlation with the other one. The data was gotten through documentation method to see the chronological age of the children when entering school and the children scores from the first semester in the first grade to the first semester in the sixth grade. The data was analyzed by using the Correlation Product Moment requiring that the hypothesis accepted when the value of rcalculated was bigger than rtable on the significance level 5%. The result of data analysis showed that the value of rcalculated was 0,08 and rtable was 0,29. This result indicated that the hypothesis was accepted. Hence, it was concluded that there was no significant correlation between chronological age of the children when entering school and their learning achievement at SDN 09 Koto Luar,Padang. It was recommended to the upcoming researcher to study other factor which were beyond the researcher’s concern. Kata Kunci : Korelasi; Usia Kronologis Awal Masuk Sekolah; Prestasi Belajar

Abstract:This research was motivated by the problems that researchers in the field found that mental retardation was a fourth grade student intellectual disability in SLB Fan Redha Padang who have difficulty in fine motor skills. The ability of re intellectual disability searchers wanted to increase the students ability to take peanut seeds using three fingers. This study used experimental approach in the form of single subjeck research ( study a single subject ), with ABA design and data analiys techniques using visual analysis grafick. The subjeck were moderate mental retardation children. Assesment of this research is to measure the percentage of student in the fine motor skills throught the game taking beans clamp. Abstract The research disaisses about the education of characters: religious, loving country and disciplin, that has been taught by teachers toward students of SLB Al Ishlaah Padang. This research has been done by observasing teacher’s strategy in teaching, process the students entering dass, studying, having a break time, going home, having extracurricular activities, etc. The results of research is the education of characters isn’t done well by the teachers because they do not apply RPP well. Actually the strategy of the teachers is good because they makes students accustomed to do good things. But unfortunatelly, they don’t evaluate the character’s development of the students. Abstrack: This research was conducted due to a problem indicating that a slow learner named X in class III was not able yet to read words. Therefore, the researcher tried to improve his rading ability by applying audio visual media. This was a single subject Research which applied A-B-A design. The result of the research revealed that the slow learner’s X reading improved after audio visual media applied. There were five words given to the students including table, ball, book ,pen and glass. In the baseline condition, the highest score was 20%. In the intervention condition, the highest score was 100%. In the baseline (A2) condition, the highest score was 100%. Based on these results, it was concluded that the use of audio visual media could improve the slow learner’s X reading ability in class III of SDN 07 Binuang Kampung Dalam Padang. Kata kunci: Audio Visual; Kemampuan Membaca Kata.

Abstrack: The background of this research is some students with mental retardation that attend learning process of Life Skills of vocational program at the workshop skills. This study was conducted to look at the model of learning in the implementation of life skills of tataboga subject watter and to investigate the role of teachers in helping organizing the life skills of tataboga and also to know the constraints faced in the implementation of life skill of tataboga. Abstrack: Penelitian ini berawal dari pengamatan yang peneliti lakukan di lapangan. Peneliti menemukan dua orang anak kesulitan membaca yang sudah duduk di kelas tiga namun masih belum bisa menuntaskan pembelajaran membaca yang sesuia dengan tuntutan kurikulum sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran membaca permulaan oleh guru kepada anak kesulitan membaca di MIN Koto Luar Padang yang merupakan sekolah reguler dan belum menjadi sekolah inklusi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah guru kelas dan kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian ini adalah pelaksanakan pembelajaran membaca permulaan di sekolah ini dilakukan sesuai dengan ketentuan kurikulum sekolah reguler. Guru tidak melakukan modifikasi kurikulum yang disesuaikan dengan kemampuan anak kesulitan membaca. Proses belajar mengajar juga dilakukan secara klasikal dan menyeluruh terhadap semua siswa. Tindak lanjut yang dilakukan oleh guru untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca anak tersebut yaitu dengan melakukan kegiatan mengulang pelajaran. Kendala guru adalah kurangnya pengetahuan guru terhadap pembelajaran yang seharusnya untuk anak kesulitan membaca ini. Guru belum pernah mendapatkan pelatihan ataupun workshop tentang pembelajaran untuk anak kesulitan membaca. Guru kesulitan menjalin kerja sama dengan orang tua siswa untuk meningkatkan kemempuan belajar siswa di rumah. Kurangnya motifasi siswa dalam belajar. Usaha yang dilakukan guru untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut adalah guru melakukan kegiatan diskusi dengan guru kelas lainnya, guru melakukan diskusi dengan orang tua, dan guru melakukan hal yang bisa meningkatkan motifasi belajar siswa dengan memberikan reward melalui kegiatan yang dilakukan. Abstrack: This study discussed the improvement of skill of reading graph toward the blind child on class XI SMA N 2 Painan on Mathematics subject. Started from the observation that researcher found the blind child had not been able to read the chart, so after administered an observation with the target behavior and distinguished graphs, identified and read charts. The purpose of this research was to prove the media charts arise could improve the skill of reading graph in math subjects in blind children.This research used experimental approach in the form of single subject design (SSD) with multiple baselines cross variables design and research data analysis used a visual graph analysis technique.Data analysis indicated that baseline data differentiated the graphics for 3 days with a mean of level 3 and the trend horizontal directions and trends continued with intervention for 9 days with mean level 6, the trend increased and data change improved (+3). The identified baseline graph done in 5 days with a mean of level 0 and horizontal direction and trend continued with intervention for 7 days with a mean level 15,14 the trend increased and data change improved (+10). The chart baseline was read for 7 days with a mean of level 0 and horizontal direction trend continued with intervention in 5 days with a mean level of 15.4, the trend increased and data change improved (+13) and all the targets had overlap behavior data to 0%. The conclusion was that media graphic arise improved the skills of Reading Graphs on Mathematics subject for visually impaired or blind child on XI class SMA N 2 Painan. Based on the results of this research, hoped the teachers and Government presented the graph in the shape of embossed to be read by the visually impaired or blind students. Abstract: This research was derived from the problem faced by the students in the third grade of SDN 17 Jawa Gadut Padang in which they got problems to multiply numbers from 5 to 9. This was caused by the students who tended to memorize the numbers. The purpose of this research was to overcome the problem found in this research and to improve the students’ ability to multiply numbers from 5 to 9, and the students were expected to be able to memorize multiplication from 5 to 9. This was a quasi experimental research which used Pretest Posttest Design. Using this design, experiment was only done to a group without presenting the control group. The subject of the research was four students in the third grade of SDN 17 Jawa Gadut Padang. The data obtained was analyzed by using U Mann-Whitney test. The research hypothesis would be accepted if the value of Ucalculated > Utable on the significance level 95% or α = 0,05. The result of data analysis indicated that Ucalculated (0,5) was bigger than Utable (0) indicating that the hypothesis was accepted. Thus, the result of the research showed that applying various lecturing method through question and answer, assigning task, giving exercise and demonstrating the task by using multiple set was effective to improve the students with learning disabilities ability to multiply number from 5 to 9. Abstrak : latar belakang penelitian ini adalah kesulitan seorang anak membaca kata di SDN 18 Koto Luar Padang. Media flash card adalah sebuah permainan mengenal huruf dan kata-kata.gambar-gambar flash card yang menarik dengan warna-warni yang menyolok akan disukai anak-anak,sehingga guru dan orang tua bisa mengajak mereka gembira,bermain dan belajar dalam cara yang sederhana. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuktikan media Flash Card dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca kata. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Single Subject Research dengan desain A-B. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media Flash Card efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca kata anak di SDN 18 Koto Luar Padang. Keyword: membaca kata; media Flash Card.
