Abstract

ABSTRACT TANTI HAYATI. 2015. "IncreasingReading Ability of the Students with Learning Disabilities to Read Words by Using Workword Method in Class IV of SD Negeri 10 Sungai Sapih Padang. Thesis. Special Education Departement of the Faculty of Education of State University of Padang.This research was derived from the problems found at SD N 10 Sungai Sapih Padang indicating that a student in class IV got difficulties to read words with affixation (prefix, suffix and prefix-sufix). The purpose of this research was to prove whether the use of Wordwork method could improve the ability of the student with learning disabilities to read words in class IV of SD Negeri 10 Sungai Sapih Padang.This was an experimental research which applied Single Subject Research (SSR) method and A-B-A design. The data were analyzed by using visual analysis og grafic. The variable was measured by using frequency technique.In the baseline condition (A1) that consisted of four meetings the student’s, in the intervention condition (B) that consisted of six meeting the student’s, and in the baseline condition (A2) that consisted of tree meetings the student’s. The percentage of data overlapped between baseline condition (A1) and intervention condition (B) was 0%., and between baseline  condition (A2) and the intervention condition (B) was 66,7%. These results indicated that the samller the percentage of the data overlapped. The better the effect of the intervention. Based on these results, it was concluded that the use of Wordwork could increase the ability of the student with learning difficulties to read words in class IV of SD Negeri 10 Sungai Sapih Padang.Keyword: learning disability; Increas; reading ability; wordwork

Abstract

Abstract:The background of this research is the difficulty in reading the words of a child vowels in SDN 09 Koto Luar Padang. Analisis Glass method is a method of teaching through code-breaking group of letters in words. The purpose ofthis study is to prove the effectiveness of the method of analysis glass in improving the ability to read the word vowels. This type of research is Single Subject Research with ABA design. The results showed Analisis Glass method is effective inimproving the ability to read words vowels dyslexia children in SDN 09 Class III Koto Luar Padang.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is back grounded by the problem which is found at SD N 18 Koto Luar Padang. Three children difficult in learning from 2nd grade got a problem in knowing place values of numbers. Capability of children was very low. Base on it, this research is aimed to prove the escalation capability of place values of numbers for the children difficult in learning.This research uses experiment appoach in Single Subject Design form by multiple baselines cross subjects design. Data was analyzed by visual graph analysis. Assessment in this research uses the entry of total question data that right-answered by using frequency.The result of this research shows that the capability of children in knowing place values of numbers increased. The observation had been done thirteen times for every subject. In the first subject IK baseline data low stable and mean level 1,16. Intervention condition, mean level 11,85 and trend increased. Subject JE baseline, data low stable and mean level 0,66. Intervention condition, with mean level 11,42 trend increased. Subject Z baseline data is low stable and mean level 1. Intervention condition, mean level 11,42 trend increased. As we can see from the changes of data analysis between condition of subject X with B/A condition is +3. Subject JE at B/A condition is +6. Subject ZI at B/A condition is +5. Base on the result of the research, we conclude the direct instruction can increase the capability of knowing place values of numbers of 2nd grade at SD N 18 Koto Luar Padang.Keyword: Children  difficult in learning, place values of numbers, direct instructionPendahuluan

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini membahas tentang pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika oleh guru kelas terhadap siswa Autisme di kelas V SD N 06 Padang Pasir. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika oleh guru kelas terhadap siswa Autisme di kelas V SD N 06 Padang Pasir, dengan beberapa indikator seperti perencanaan pembelajaran matematika yang dilakukan guru kelas, pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru kelas, kendala-kendala yang ditemui guru kelas dalam proses belajar mengajar, dan usaha yang dilakukan guru kelas mengatasi kendala-kendala tersebut. Penelitian ini di lakukan di SD N 06 Padang Pasir Kota Padang, dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yang difokuskan kepada pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika oleh guru kelas terhadap siswa Autisme di kelas V. Subjek penelitian adalah guru mata pelajaran yang sekaligus bertugas sebagai guru kelas/ wali kelas. Proses pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian, guru belum memberikan layanan khusus diantaranya dalam memodifikasi kurikulum, sarana dan prasarana yang belum memadai sebagai penunjang dalam pembelajaran, serta pemberian materi pembelajaran cenderung secara klasikal. Dengan adanya hasil penelitian ini, diharapkan guru dan warga sekolah lainnya membantu jalannya siswa Autisme dalam proses pembelajaran matematika dalam hal pemberian materi pelajaran, penyediaan media pembelajaran, meminimalisir kendala yang akan muncul selama pembelajaran, dan melakukan usaha-usaha untuk mengatasi kendala-kendala yang muncul. Kata Kunci : Pendidikan Inklusif; Pembelajaran Matematika; Siswa Autisme

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini berawal dari ditemukannya seorang anak yang mengalami kesulitan belajar X di kelas V SDN 18 Koto Luar Padang yang memiliki masalah dalam pelajaran matematika khususnya penjumlahan bilangan pecahan sederhana.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penjumlahan bilangan pecahan sederhana bagi anak berkesulitan belajar matematika.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen dalam bentuk Single Subject Reasearch (SSR) dengan desain A-B-A. Penilaian penelitian ini adalah seberapa besar kemampuan anak dalam melakukan penjumlahan bilangan pecahan sederhana. Pengamatan dilakukan dengan melihat kondisi baseline sebelum diberikan perlakuan (A1), kemudian pada kondisi intervensi (B) dengan media batang cuisenaire, lalu kemampuan awal anak setelah tidak lagi diberikan perlakuan pada kondisi (A2). Data diperoleh melalui observasi langsung. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan menjumlahkan bilangan pecahan sederhana dapat ditingkatkan melalui media batang cuisenaire bagi anak berkesulitan belajar kelas V SD. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah data visual berupa grafik.Analisis data menunjukkan kemampuan penjumlahan bilangan pecahan sederhana meningkat secara signifikan setelah diberikan perlakuan dengan media batang cuisenaire. Hal ini menunjukkan pada kondisi baseline (A1) kemampuan penjumlahan bilangan pecahan sederhana 0%,. Kondisi intervensi (B) meningkat 16,6 %, dan kemampuan setelah tidak diberi intervensi (A1) 40%. Terbukti dari hasil analisis dalam kondisi dan antar kondisi menunjukkan estimasi kecenderungan arah, kecenderungan kestabilan, jejak data dan tingkat perubahan yang meningkat secara positif, serta overlape pada analisis data kondisi A1 23% dan kondisi A2 27,3%.Kata Kunci: penjumlahan bilangan pecahan sederhana; media batang cuisenaire; anak berkesulitan belajar;

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this research are:1) Improve the implementation of the process of learning the skills to make palai bilih through demonstration method for deaf children in the DV class SDLB No. 20 Nan Balimo Solok. 2) Prove that the method can improve the skills demonstration make palai bilih DV class of deaf children in SDLB No. 20 Nan Balimo Solok. This type of research is classroom action research, conducted in the form of collaboration with colleagues. Subject three children with hearing impairment DV class and one teacher. Data obtained through observation, testing. Then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed that 1) the learning process makes palai bilih using the demonstration carried out by two cycles. Cycle I and II with four meetings. Each cycle begins with the planning, implementation (initial activities, core and end), observation, analysis and reflection. 2) The results of the study by using demonstration method in making palai bilih increased. It can be seen from the data before the action children's ability to perform 18 steps to make palai bilih namely: SI (38.9%), RA is a (47.2%) and BP (52.8%). Whereas at the end of the first cycle SI capability increased to (66.7%) and RA (69.4%) and TD (75%). After the second cycle SI capability increased to (94.4%) and RA (97.2%) and TD became (100%). It can be concluded that these three children have increased ability to make Palai bilih after being given intensive method of demonstration to the class of deaf children in SDLB DV 20 Nanbalimo Solok. It is suggested to teachers the skills to be able to use the demonstration method in teaching other skills.  Kata kunci: Palai Bilih; Metode Demonstrasi; Anak Tunagrahita Ringan

Abstract

This study was motivated by the problems that I have found on a mild mental retardation children sitting in class IV C SLB fan-redha Padang. The child is experiencing problems of summation, aims to improve the ability of the sum of integer numbers 1-10 through the media ladder. This study uses a Single Subject Research approach, using AB design and data analysis techniques using visual analysis chart. Subjects were mild mental retardation children fourth grade. Results of analysis of data on baseline conditions (A) shall not exceed six kalipertemuan with the results of 20%, 10%, 0%, 20%, 20%, 20%. A second session interventions (B) observations were made eight times the media ladder observations using numbers as 30%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 70%, 80%, 80%, and 80%. It can be concluded that, the media ladder can improve the ability of the sum of the number of integers 1-10 in children Tunagrahita light in SLB fan-redha Padang. is recommended for teachers to implement the media ladder numbers to increase understanding and summing the mild mental retardation children in mathematics. Kata kunci : Menjumlahkan Bilangan Bulat 1-10, Media Tangga Bilangan, anak tunagrahita ringan, SLB Fan-Redha Padang.

Abstract

Abstract               This research was motivated by the problems that have found in SD Rayon III Cluster VI District of Guguak. The students can not add two rows digid down . Researchers want to overcome these problems by creating a media is Wisdom Ladder Media . This study used a Research and Development with Mann Whitney U test . Based on the results of the study proved that the success of the development of media Wisdom Ladder  improve the ability summation of children’s mathematics learning difficulties.

Abstract

Abstract :This reseacrh was motivated by the problems that the researcher found in class IX deaf children SMPLB YPPLB Padang. The children did not know how to decorate the place of dringking bottle in accordance with the steps. The design of this reseach was A-B-A design and data analysis techniques was visual analysis chart. The subject for this research was the deaf childrens, the assessment in this research was percentages that was to calculate the childrens’ ability to decorate the place of dringking bottle. Based on the results of the research, the ability of children in decorating the place of dringking bottle increased through visual media. At baseline condition (A1) was done in five meetings, the ability of the children was 25%. On the intervention condition (B) was done in nine meetings, the children ability increased to 94,44%. At the baseline condition (A2) the ability of children was 94,44%. From the analysis of the data showed that the result change tended to increase (+), from baseline condition (A1) to intervene and baseline (A2) percentage overlape small data that was 44,44% thus illustrate the effect of the intervention through visual media was increasing in the ability to decorate the bottle of mineral water for the deaf children. The hypothesis of this research is accepted. It can be concluded that the visual media can increase the skills in decorating the place of dringking bottle for the deaf children at Grade IX SMPLB YPPLB Padang. Researcher suggests to the teachers and the next researchers to make the results of this reseacrh as a reference in developmenting of learning skills at school. Key Words : Keterampilan ; Menghias ; Tempat Air Mineral ; Media Visual

Abstract

In issue in this thesis is to explain about the research interests of hearing persons with barriers to hearing aids where the sample objective is Gerkatin Member Padang. backed by the problems with the state of socialization conditions with barriers of hearing with the outside world. The purpose of this study was to describe the barriers raised interest concerning the hearing on the use of hearing aids .               The method used in this research is descriptive with quantitative approach. The sampling technique was totally sampling by distributing questionnaires to the respondents that some Members Gerkatin (Indonesian Deaf Welfare Movement), amounting to 49 people. This data collection technique using a Likert scale with alternative answers strongly agree, agree, undecided, disagree and strongly disagree, with the item number 40 in respect of interest with hearing barriers to the use of hearing aid. This data collection using a percentage formula               Based on the results of this study concluded that interest in hearing the barriers raised against the use of hearing aids 56% of people with hearing barriers not understand the concept of hearing aids consisting of components and forms, 63% of people with hearing barriers are keen to have a hearing aid and also very require a hearing aid to support the daily activities where the activity requires a hearing (auditory) and 45% of people with hearing barriers are highly motivated to use hearing aids and wish to have a hearing aid that can support their daily activities Keyword : Deaf, hearing aids, Descriptive Quantitative Research,
