Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research is motivated by the discovery of a problem in SD 33 Kalumbuk Padang, a boy who is a male who is in the third grade of elementary school where the child has difficulty reading words. Thus the researcher intends to assist children in improving word reading skills by utilizing the school environment. This study aims to improve the ability to read words by utilizing the school environment for children with learning difficulties class III at SD Negeri 33 Kalumbuk, Padang. This type of research is a singel subject research (SSR) A-B design. Data collected through direct observation and recorded on the observation sheet. Data analyzed were using graphical visual analysis. The results of this study indicate that the ability to read words for children with learning difficulties class III in SD 33 Kalumbuk Padang, increased after being given an intervention with the utilization of the school environment. In the initial condition the child gets the highest score of 20% while in the intervention condition the child gets a score of 60%. Thus it is proven that by utilizing the school environment it can improve the ability to read words for children with difficulty learning class III at SD Negeri 33 Kalumbuk Padang. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan ditemukannya masalah di SD Negeri 33 Kalumbuk Padang, seorang anak yang berjenis kelamin laki-laki yang duduk di kelas III SD dimana anak tersebut mengalami kesulitan dalam membaca kata-kata. Dengan demikian peneneliti bermaksud untuk memanfaatkan lingkungan sekolah dalam  meningkatkan kemampuan membaca kata pada anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca kata dengan pemanfaatan lingkungan sekolah bagi anak kesulitan belajar kelas III di SD Negeri 33 Kalumbuk, Padang. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian subjek tunggal (SSR) desain A-B. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui pengamatan langsung dan dicatat pada lembaran observasi. Data yang dianalisis yaitu menggunakan analisis visual grafik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan membaca kata bagi anak kesulitan belajar kelas III di SD Negeri 33 Kalumbuk Padang, meningkat setelah diberikan intervensi dengan pemanfaatan lingkungan sekolah. Pada kondisi awal anak mendapatkan skor tertinggi 20% sedangkan pada kondisi intervensi anak mendapat skor 60%. Dengan demikian terbukti bahwa dengan pemanfaatan lingkungan sekolah  dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca kata bagi anak kesulitan belajar kelas III di SD Negeri 33 Kalumbuk Padang.

Abstract

AbstractThis problem the background by problems founds in SDN 17 Jawa Gadut on the disgrafia class II look that the low interest of the child tp learn. This study aims to increase interest in childrens learning disgrafia through the media pictures brightened. The research used the experiment a single subject researh (SSR), with A-B-A design and engineering analysiis used the analysis of the graphing visual. In this study the subject of her research is a disgrafia class II di SDN 17 Jawa Gadut. Observations in this research carried out in three sessions, namely the baseline of as much as four times the meeting, intervention as much as ten times the meeting, and the baseline of as much as four times the meeting. Session A-B-A is done on a different. The collection of technique used data is through observations immediately. Based on the results of research interest learn through the media pictures broghtened look increasing. ABSTRAKPermasalahan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang ditemukan di SDN 17 Jawa Gadut pada anak disgrafia kelas II terlihat bahwa rendahnya minat anak untuk belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar anak disgrafia melalui media gambar berseri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen berbentuk Single Subject Research (SSR), dengan desain A-B-A dan teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis visual grafik. Pada penelitian ini subjek penelitiannya yaitu anak disgrafia kelas II di SDN 17 Jawa Gadut. Pengamatan pada penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tiga sesi , yaitu Baseline (A1) sebanyak empat kali pertemuan, Intervensi (B) sebanyak sepuluh kali pertemuan, dan Baseline (A2) sebanyak empat kali pertemuan. Sesi A-B-A ini dilakukan pada hari yang berbeda-beda. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti mengumpulkan data dengan cara observasi langsung. Berdasarkan penelitian didapat hasil minat belajar melalui media gambar berseri terlihat meningkat.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to find out and describe the perceptions of blind students on statistics subject, which included the materials, methods used by the lecturers, media, curriculum and expectations of blind students on statistics subject in Universitas Negeri Padang. This research  uses a case study approach with qualitative research method. The subjects of this research are blind students  who have studied statistics subject in Universitas Negeri Padang. The data collection techniques are observation, interview and documentation. The validity of data uses triangulation techniques. The result of this research shows that, understanding statistics subject is very useful when writing thesis with quantitative method. The formulas in statistics subject are difficult for blind students. The learning methods used by the lecturers are not proper yet, because it lacks special services. The lecturers have not yet provided special learning media for blind students. There are no curriculum modifications yet by the lecturers. Blind students hope the lecturers are not differentiated the students on giving exercises, give the special methods and provide special learning media for the blind students. ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan medeskripsikan persepsi mahasiswa tunanetra terhadap pembelajaran statistik, yang meliputi tentang materi, metode yang digunakan dosen, media, kurikulum pembelajaran statistik, serta harapan mahasiswa tunanetra terhadap pembelajaran statistik di Universitas Negeri Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus dengan metode penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa tunanetra yang telah mempelajari mata kuliah statistik di Universitas Negeri Padang. teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data menggunakan trianggulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa, pemahaman statistik dirasa sangat bermanfaat pada saat penulisan skripsi menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Materi rumus-rumus dirasa sulit oleh mahasiswa tunanetra, Metode yang digunakan dosen kurang tepat, karena kurang memberikan layanan khusus. Dosen tidak menyediakan media khusus bagi mahasiswa tunanetra, Tidak ada modifikasi kurikulum dilakukan dosen. Mahasiswa tunanetra berharap tidak dibedakan dalam pemberian soal, adanya metode khusus yang digunakan dosen, serta menyediakan media khusus bagi mahasiswa tunanetra.

Abstract

This study discusses the problems found in SLB Negeri 1 Painan regarding the implementation of the school literacy movement. This study aims to learn how to apply the school literacy movement for deaf children of class VII in SLB Negeri 1 Painan. The method used is descriptive qualitative, research subjects are school principals, class teachers, librarians, students and parents of students. Data collected through observation, interviews and documentation obtained are then analyzed and presented by drawing conclusions about the meaning of the data collected. Strategies in the school literacy movement prioritize effective social environments as a model of communication and literacy-friendly environmental conditions. Implementation starts from coaching training towards development and learning training. The benefits of applying the literacy movement can be felt by principals, class teachers, librarians, students and parents of students. SLB Negeri 1 Painan.

Abstract

This research was conduced based on the situation that occurred on Transmart Padang, where a number of people with disability work together with the other normal employees. Employees who have some problem with hearing absolutely have a problem with communication and to do their duty and responsibilities, but the employees with disabilities still try to do their job well. This study uses descriptive qualitative techniques, data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies. This Research subjects were the employees who work at Transmart Padang, who have a relationship with disability employees in distibution of tasks or divisions. The results of this study reveal the fact that employees could not feel something wrong or feeling normal when they do first meet the employees with disabilities, employees with disabilities can also do their work which were their responsibility and can also help the other employee who need it. The weaknesses of employees with disabilities were in communication that was require different efforts compared to other normal employees, but these weaknesses did not become a significant complaint in work process of each employee in Transmart Padang.
