Abstract

Gelamai Mak Leni is a home made gelamai industry which is owned by Mr. Riswandi and Ms. Musleni. Gelamai Mak Leni has been estabilished since 2012 and it is located in Koto Baru, Kec. Simalanggang, Kab. Lima Puluh Kota, Payakumbuh. The Brand and Packaging Design of Gelamai Mak Leni was based on the visual identitiy and the undefinite, yet inconsistency of the packaging that represents the industry of Gelamai Mak LeniThe design method was started from datas collecting, interviewing, and observing. In order to find the problem and the identification of the problem, it was being analysed by using the SWOT theory (SWOT), and further by using analysis data cinclusion and creative approach. In designing the brand and packaging of Gelamai Mak Leni (Mak Leni’s Gelamai), the writer indicated the verbal and visual message to people though branding and packaging.The primary media in this design were brand and packaging. Beside the primary media, this design was also being completed with the secondary media such as paper bag, sticker, name card, mug, printed t-shirt, stamp, pin, receipt, x-banner, calender, and clock.Keywords: Brand, Packaging, Gelamai Mak Leni, Media.

Abstract

Padang Panjang is a city with the smallest area in West Sumatra. Padang Panjang has many potential ranging from education, food, travel to industrial products. Until now the potential of Padang Panjang is not so well known and recognized by the public due to lack of promotion of the city government. The reason is the underlying design of visual branding.The analytical method chosen in the design of visual branding Padang Panjang are SWOT (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, Threat) method is used to find weaknesses, strengths, opportunities, and threats Padang Panjang as well as a differentiating factor with competitors city.Results of visual design branding for Padang Panjang are logo and tagline that is applied to the main form of guidebooks brand Padang Panjang and stationery sets such as business cards, folders, cd cover and cd, letterhead fiber and envelopes and notebooks as well as supporting media include billboards, T-shirts, totebag, clocks, stickers, hats and umbrellas.Keywords: Visual branding, Padang Panjang, Logo, Billboard.

Abstract

Wisata Alam Lembah Harau dan Ngalau Indah kini menjadi primadona wisata di Provinsi Sumbar, banyak wisatawan baik lokal maupun Internasional mengunjungi wisata tersebut, dari kedua tempat wisata ini banyak dari para wisatawan yang telah mengunjungi tempat wisata Harau dan Ngalau mengalami keraguan karena pengucapan keduanya memiliki kesamaan bunyi sehinngga terjadilah kesalahan persepsi oleh para wisatawan tersebut dalam memposisikan tempat wisata Harau atau tempat wisata Ngalau dalam pikiran wisatawan. Wisata Alam Lembah Harau juga belum memiliki Logo sebagai identidas dan pembading dengan Wisata Alam Ngalau.Dari hal tersebut, maka dibuatlah perancangan logo Wisata Alam Lembah Harau. Logo dirancang untuk mewakili karakter dan menjadi identitas dari sebuah daerah, perusahaan, lembaga atau produk. Logo terdiri dari dua bagian yaitu logogram (ikon, simbol, visual), dan logotype (inisial, nama perusahaan dalam bentuk teks). Usaha ini bertujuan untuk mempromosikan dan membedakan Wisata Alam Lembah Harau dengan Wisata Alam Ngalau indah kepada wisatawan lokal, nasional, internasion dan investor melalui logo.Metode Perancangan yang digunakan adalah analisis SWOT. Keunggulan dari Wisata Alam Lembah Harau adalah memiliki pemandangan yang indah, asri sejuk, alami dan memiliki tebing-tebing yang menahjubkan menjulang tinggi. Kelemahan dari Wisata Alam Lembah Harau adalah memiliki kesamaan pengucpan bunyi dengan Wisata Ngalau dan tidak memiliki trasportasi umum menuju lokasi wisata tersebut.Hasil dari perancangan logo Wisata Lembah Harau ini di aplikasikan berupa manual book dan poster yang juga didukung oleh media alternatif diantaranya berupa baju, X banner, gantungan kunci, poster, mug, dan stiker.Kata Kunci : Lembah Harau, Kabupaten Limapuluh Kota, Wisata Alam.

Abstract

Cafe Ombewok established on 21 April 2016 the cafe is addressed at the Juanda no. 08 Padang, has the concept of Automotive with a diverse menu of native culinary mainstay Minangkabau like Iga Rendang, Ayam Sirah, and assorted drinks menu Cofee, Chocolate, Moctail, Squash and Tea. Cafe Ombewok have free wifi facilities, Live music, booking party and event Brithday. Lack of promotion done by the owner of Cafe Ombewok make this cafe is less known in the city of Padang. The author makes the design of audio-visual media in the form of a video, the video will be made into two versions, with a duration of 1 minute 26 seconds will uplod to youtube, facebook and twitter and the next version with a duration of 59 seconds will be uplod to social media instagram, with their promotional design is expected to make Cafe Ombewok known and able to compete with competitors-competitors.Keywords: promotions, videos, cafe, Cafe Ombewok

Abstract

Distro Reckless store is one of the manufacturers of menswear Reckless Store is a distro which is in the district of Padang precisely on Jl. 1 No.34 Andalas Padang, these distributions selling haberdashery products. Reckless Store was originally established with a capital of courage and daring and do not have a lot of capital and therefore owner coined the name Distro Reckless Store Design of corporate identity is taken from the character of the distributions Reckless store namely Pioneers, Dynamic, and Fresh and combined with the concept of simple and attractive that can be recognized , remembered by the target audience who later became the center of attention.Corporate identity design method Reckless store distribution is based on the absence of Corporate identity representing Reckless as distributions menswear store in Padang, western suamtera. Methods of data analysis are SWOT analysis because with this method the authors can be analyzed by using the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats so as to create a successful brand.The main media used in the design Corporate identity Reckless store distro is that media and signage manual book. Abstract

Holder apparel clothing line is located on North Sarimas no .1 Sub-district Suka Miskin, Arcamanik , Cicaheum , Bandung. Promotion done by holder apparel less effective so that has not reached its target , so there gap target audience. So far only Holder Apparel promote through the use of website, social networking application or by following some events are located in the area. According Holder Apparel owners, they have not done so effective promotions or interesting as still confused with the choice of a media campaign that will take place. This is because the target audience is expected by the Apparel is the target audience are from all walks of life, such as circles, extreme sport players, musicians, civil society, youth, adults, men, women and others.The aim of this scheme is to introduce and expand the promotional coverage Holder Apparel in order to reach the target audience, particularly in the city of Padang and Bukittinggi. The planning process begins with data collection, observation, interview and documentation. So that the problems that occurred in Holder Apparel can know from the identification of the problem, by using SWOT analysis. Abstract

Buku Your Blood Type and Arround You, ini merupakan buku semi komik atau fiksi yang membahas mengenai golongan darah, karangan dua penulis yaitu Zizousari dan Yuna Chan. Buku ini berisikan pembahasan mengenai masing-masing golongan darah dan disertai dengan ilustrasi pendukung situasi agar para pembaca dapat lebih memahami isi buku dan enjoy saat membaca. Namun sayang, ilustrasi yang digunakan dalam buku ini masih sangat sederhana, hanya digambar dengan outline putih saja, sehingga tidak menimbulkan kesan menarik bagi pembaca. Dari permasalahan diatas dibutuhkan Re-desain buku Your Blood Type and Arround You dengan tujuan untuk memperbaiki tampilan visual ilustrasi karakter masing-masing karakter golongan darah, Layout dan cover agar dapat memberikan pelayanan yang nyaman bagi pembaca.Proses pengumpulan data dengan melakukan wawancara langsung dengan penulis buku Your Blood Type and Arround You dengan media sosial berupa aplikasi Line. Metode yang digunakan sebagai analisis data berupa SWOT (Strange, Weakhness, Opportunity dan Threat)Berdesarkan analisis diatas, maka akan dilakukan perancangan Re-desain buku Your Blood Type and Arround You berupa media utama yaitu buku, media pendukung yaitu X-banner, Poster, Totebag, Baju Kaos, Pembatas Buku, Backdrop, Sticker dan Jam Dinding.Kata kunci : Re-desain, Buku, Golongan Darah

Abstract

The aimed of designing is to develop media education public service announcements in the form of motion graphic, in order that Payakumbuh society could understand the insights of HIV/AIDS, help broaden the prevention of HIV/AIDS among the age of 20 years - 40 years of Payakumbuh socety, as well as helping the Government city/Payakumbuh Institute in preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS. The methods of design is by interview and documentation, a visit to the Health Office and the Office of National AIDS Commission in Payakumbuh. And the method of data analysis is the 5W1H analysis by reviewing What?, Who?, When?, Where?, Why?, and How? on the design of these. The result of this Public Service Announcements is a Motion Graphic about HIV / AIDS in Payakumbuh, as well as with (media support) a CD Cover, a Poster, a X-banners, a mug, a pins, a cloth, a bracelet, a Buff, and a Snapback.Keyword : Public Service Announcement, Motion Graphic

Abstract

West Sumatra, especially Padang city have potential of natural disaster such as earthquake, lanslide, flood, and so on. The potentially natural disaster occur in Padang is earthquake, which is the geographic state of Padang is closer to Indo-Australia part that potentially cause a huge earthquake (megathrush) and Tsunami. The causes of Padang is in danger zone earthquake , the writer create an infographic media of guidance for earthquake and Tsunami alert which has informative and communicative booklet. The planning method that is used is collecting data trough observation, interview, and documentation. Then it continued with data analysis 5W 1H method. The purpose of this design is designing an informative and communicative booklet for audience target, especially for student and Padang society. This design has the main media as booklet and the supporting media such as banner, poster, x-banner, flyer, calendar, digital booklet, sticker, pin, and T-shirt.Keywords: Booklet, Disaster Alert, Audience.

Abstract

The purpose of infographic design (1) to influence the public to avoid the negative behaviors that can damage the brain. 5W + 1H method used to solve this issue on the background and find solutions to these problems. (2) This infographic design will be delivered through the motion graphic. The role of motion graphicin infographic necessary to attract the audience, where the verbal message content can be presented in an attractive form of motion. The use of motion graphic containing audio and visual engaged thereby eliminating boredom when audience listening information on the infographic display.Keywords: infographic, brain, brain care, design method.
