Abstract

JJ Detail Boutique is located at JL. Juanda no.71B besides Pool Bus NPM Lolong Padang. JJ Detail Boutique carries a business in the field of fashion, especially women with casual themes in the city of Padang. Consumers don’t know and understand the superiority of JJ Details Boutique products and the optimal media available at boutiques now makes JJ Detail Boutique experience a decline in turnover. The purpose of catalog design as print media that serves to inform product information an informative and communicative manner for customer satisfaction to increase JJ sales turn over Boutique Details.The Catalog Design Method combines the intuitive BlackBox thinking method and GlassBox rational thinking method that has been prepared regularly to collect descriptive and qualitative data. Analysis of the approach in data collection, namely SWOT analysis, is obtained through collecting observation data and documentation directly to boutique locations. The main media catalog and design of this layout adapted to the clothing motif for the current boutique edition. Supporting media in the form of poster , invoices,business cards, member cards,stickers,paper bag and video.It is expected that the design of this catalog can contribute to increasing sales turnover, strengthing competitives for competitor of clothing boutique that have developed at this time.Keywords:JJ Boutique Details, Catalog, Informative, Communicative, Products.

Abstract

This final project aims to maximize branding program, to raise product brand awareness and product brand image, and to make teenagers feel royal for traditional food. Branding Usaha Dapoer Rendang Riry have role to maximize, introduce, and, convince that this product is not only for old people but also young people. Branding use some visual communication design principles and elements. Data analysis method used is SWOT analysis to find the solution from the problem faced. Creative program used is AIDCA because it is appropriate the people habit and culture nowadays which is alongside and can not be separated with internet. Designing process start with data collection, interview, and observation toward Dapoer Rendang Riry products. Main media used for this branding is Brand Guide Line, and the supporting media are packaging, poster, x-banner, shirt, shopping bag, sticker, stationery set, appron, instagram, facebook.Keyword : Branding, traditional food, minangkabau

Abstract

The Lacks of information about facilities and tourist attractions in Pantai Padang as a Tourism Object makes some visitors confused. The need for a marking system (sign system) in the Pantai Padang areas will make it easier for visitors to get information. The designing of sign systems in the area Object Tourism of Pantai Padang that is interesting, effective and communicative will be the right solution. The purpose of the designer was that the sign system can be built and applied to the Object Tourism of Padang Beach.The design method used was the glass-box by interview and documentation. Completing the analysis used in the progress was 5W + 1H. What is the solution (What), why should design the sign system (Why), who is the target of design (Who), where is the location of the sign system (Where), when the system sign will investigate (When), how to design the sign system (How) . The main media for the announcement was the sign systems. Abstract

Rendang is a dish with processed meat from Minangkabau. Each region is unique when processing Rendang. The home business of the Uni Sofie, which is located in Bukittinggi, processes tuna meat into Rendang. Fish meat is ground, and made round like meatballs. The preparation is called "Rendang Bola-bola". Even with a unique appearance, Rendang Bola-bola has its drawbacks. Business identity and product safety have not been fully implemented on the packaging. The purpose of designing the packaging of Rendang Bola-bola Uni Sofie is to protect the product with a business identity that is easily understood by consumers.Qualitative descriptive method is used in designing, collecting data through observation and interviews from the owner. The SWOT data analysis method is a problem solving by raising excellence to get the right layout, typography, and color for Rendang Bola-bola Uni Sofie. The addition of media such as X-banners, posters, flyers, aprons, business cards, paper bags, and posters aims to support the main media packaging.With the design of Rendang's business packaging design Rendang Bola-bola Uni Sofie's in Bukittinggi, can attract the attention of buyers and improve the existence of food businesses in the city of Bukittinggi.Keywords: Packaging, Rendang Bola-bola, design.

Abstract

Titin Dona Bridal Gallery is a service business that serves and helps brides a in preparation for weddings and make-up. Titin Dona provides brides fashion models and modern until traditional makeup. Information about Titin Dona bridal Gallery is not optimal because it only displays images of products or services through social media like Facebook and Instagram, for that needed other media as a support to help consumers so that they can increase promotions with catalogs.design method used in this catalog is Glass Box method. Through this method, it can be easy for designers to designing. Then approach the SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Treat). The method is used to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of Titin Dona who will useful in this design.The orientation of this idea to making the main media in the form of catalogs. It is expected that the presence of catalog be media can give a strength to compete with competitors that have expanded at this time. Abstract

The devolopment of small and medium industries is one of the backbone of national economic development. One of the home industries is “Usaha Murni” onion cake, snack food from Batusangkar, Tanah datar Regency has a delicious and tasty taste. The purpose of designing “Usaha Murni” onion cake packaging is to produce attractive and efficient packaging and brand designs in the hope of attracting the attention of buyers so that they can increase sales. The method used in data collection is by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation. While the method used to analyze the data is a SWOT analysis. Abstract

The development of learning media for the education of blindchildren are still very constrained by the small number of reading references. The common books found were books that only written  on braille letters. The use of Tactile book as media that can attract attention for blind childrens  because of the visual presentation with textures that touched on each objects.The pupose of designing tactile book media in this case is the introduction of pet as the main thing  explained for education. Blind children that who have limited vision will know and recognize pet  animals through this book. By using this tactile book, blind children can get to know its shapes, its  textutres by using the touching technique that explained.The method used in this design by using observation methodes, interviews and documentation. The method of analizing data was used the 5W+1H technique (what, where, who, when, why and how).The result achieved is this tactile book using Braille can attract the attention of the instructor or  parent to teach blind children so that they can get to know and learn and know the scope of learning education.Keywords : Tactile Book , Pet , Braille

Abstract

The lack of information about facilities and space at the Lubuk Buaya Padang Health Center formed the visitors to be confused. Therefore, the existence of a sign system at the Lubuk Buaya Padang Health Center will make it easier for visitors to get information. The redesign of the Lubuk Buaya Padang health center sign system that is meaningful, communicative and simple is a good solution. This redesign of the gelatin sign system can be applied to the Lubuk Buaya Padang Health Center. The design method used is a Glass Box method, while the data is retrieval, interview and documentation. The completion of the analysis used is the 5W + 1H analysis model. The main media of this design are identification marks, while the supporting media consists of wayfindig, safety signs, traffic signs, infographics, table names, x-banners and patient cards.Keywords : Redesign Sign System, Lubuk Buaya Padang Health Center.

Abstract

The Purpose of the redesign is to produce an Anticline visual brand. The new Anticline Visual Brand is expecte to be able to build and create a new awareness of the community so that it can increase the brand’s public awareness of this brand. The stage of Visual branding Redesigning begis wth collecting and continuing data analysis. The process of collecting data is done by obsevations, interviews, and documentation. Futhermore. Data analysis was carried out using the SWOT analysis method. Ending with the design stage.Anticline Visual branding Redesigning produces the main media in the form of Brandbook which contain a description of the brand, visual element and rules for implementing these element to the media so as to build viusal that are consistent with the Anticline brand characteristics. This design is also assisted by other media namely instagram, website, shopping bag, packaging, and stationery set.Keyword: Anticline, Visual branding, Brand, Brandbook.
