Abstract

Taman Wisata Kandi sebagai Kawasan Wisata dan Olahraga rencana semula pembangunan tempat wisata ini adalah berupa tempat wisata dan kebun binatang yang pembangunannya di awasi oleh Dinas Pariwisata dan kebudayaan. Pembangunan akan dilaksanakan pada lokasi yang mudah di jangkau oleh masyarakat. Namun fasilitas Sign System yang ada sekarang, belum terintegrasi secara obtimal untuk kepentingan fasilitas bagi pengunjung Taman Satwa Kandi seperti : Direction sign, identification sign, dan Information sign. Tujuan Perancangan Sign System pada Taman Satwa Kandi Sawahlunto sebagai arah informatif, komunikatif dan efektif.Metode perancangan yang digunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, sedangkan untuk menganalisis data menggunakan SWOT. Metode SWOT guna mengetahui positif, negatif, peluang dan bahaya yang terdapat di Taman Satwa Kandi Sawahlunto. Rancangan sign system yang mudah untuk dikenal pengunjung Taman Satwa Kandi Sawahluto. Media utama yang digunakan Direction sign, identification sign, dan Information sign, disamping media pendukung baju, topi, gantungan kunci, mug, pin, stiker dan mancisKata Kunci : Sign System, Taman Satwa Kandi, Sawahlunto

Abstract

Hobo skateboarding is one of company that provides clothes, pants, bags, and accessories such as wallets, belts and key chains. Hobo skateboarding promotion is only done through social media Instagram, and the promotional efforts carried out are still not effective.The lookbook design as a visual identity and print media that makes it easier for consumers to choose a product, price, size, and communication and communicative information material, which is expected to increase Hobo skateboarding popularity and produce a positive image for consumers. The purpose of the design is to provide direct information and visualization of Skateboard Hobo products designed in a complete and communicative manner so that the information delivered can be accessed easily to attract customers to buy available products.The method used is design thinking with the analysis used is SWOT analysis, Strength, Weakness, Oppurtunity, and Threat. to find a solution to the problem. The design process starts from observation, documentation and interviews with Hobo skateboard business owners to get the data needed in the design of an effective lookbook and the clarity of information needed will be a guide in the design of the lookbook, supporting media used to support the main search media poster, T-shirts, member cards, stickers, sales invoices and shopping bags.Keywords: lookbook, visual identity, promotion

Abstract

Underground music is a center of all streams of loud music that becomes an unlimited view of life as a means of expression and becomes a complex that includes the social aspects of each music genre. Whereas underground music for common people is hard music composed of melodic and harmonic compositions which are full of improvisation, coupled with the distinctive shouts or growls brought by the vocalists. In general, this music is more in demand by men, but now no exception women begin to enjoy it. Just like women that wearing hijab (hijab women) are in the gait of underground music, which will be the spotlight for people outside the underground music environment.The purpose of this design is to make a feature video of a hijab woman in an interesting and easy to understand underground music that will be processed creatively, so that it is useful, and raises a new view of the society towards women who like the underground music style and make accurate information.This design will be informed via the video feature media. This video feature is expected to be one medium that is strong enough to convey information because it consists of two elements, namely audio and visual. Data collected from this video feature is done using the method of observation and interviews. Abstract

Uniqueeshawls bag from Payakumbuh with knitting techniques, with knitted yarn material and available in various colors and can even be ordered according to the wishes of consumers. The advantages of this product are handmade products, which means that each bag is not the same, so that it becomes a special attraction for consumers, but there is no visual identity on product packaging, logos and the concept of visual identity that still does not exist.The design of Syaluna's visual identity bag can apply visual identity that attracts the attention of consumers and has long-term profitability to develop Syaluna's visual identity design goals are interesting and different from other competitors, and so that the Syaluna visual identity bag is good and effective so that it is preferred by consumers so that in the future it can reach the target market.The analytical method used is 5W + 1H analysis (what, who, where, when, why, and how) to find a solution to the problem at hand. The design process begins with observations, observations and interviews with the business owner of Tas Syaluna, in order to obtain the data needed in designing Visual Identity. Abstract

The goal of this research is to create a short film animaton tittled “Nothing Change”. Short film animation“Nothing Change” is about a girl named clara, who is a dreamer but done nothing much to achieve it. What she had always done is waiting for the right moment and the right motivation to do something to achieving her dream. This story made for telling teenager these day to aware with their behavior in purpose to make their goal/dream comes true. Also, to change teenager perception about achieving their goal/dream.To design an impressive animation, designer collected data by done some research. Therefore, designer done some research by collecting data from literature study, interview, and direct observation. The data are use to develop a story and concept visual for animation. Abstract

This article aims to get an innovative, communicative and efficient profile video design, with a visual display that attracts students' attention about Bung Hatta's Birthplace. Bung Hatta was one of the Indonesian Proclamation fighters born in the city of Bukittinggi, West Sumatra. Seeing the condition of Bung Hatta's Birth House is still unknown to students, managerial cooperation with the education office is needed to make students familiar with the Bung Hatta Birth House. Then one way that can be used by making attractive Profile videos and on target to inform students.This Profile video was created using the Glass Box design method with an analysis approach of 5W + 1H (what, who, when, where, why and how). This profile video is also supported with the main media, Video Profi and some supporting media such as posters, CD covers, CD labels, T-shirts, totebag, key chains, wall clocks, stickers, x-banners, mugs, pins, guest books and backdrops .Keywords: Video, Profile, Bung Hatta Birth House.

Abstract

Mama Sprey is a sprey and bed cover industry. The lack of prominent visual identity of Mama Sprey's products, so consumers from Mama Sprey do not know the name or brand of the products they buy.Mama Sprey needs a design of a visual identity to increase consumer attractiveness, form an identity for Mama Sprey and inform the products sold by Mama Sprey. Design goals so that people are more familiar with, understand and can attract consumers' attention to products marketed by Mama Sprey,The method used is Glass Box with 5W + 1H analysis (what, who, where, when, why and how) to find a solution to the problem at hand. This design resulted in a Manual Book design as the main media, and also supported by several other media namely: sales invoices, business cards, letters, envelopes, stamps, x-banners, totebags, stickers, posters and t-shirts.Keywords: Visual Identity, Sprey, Brands

Abstract

Sign system at the Regional General Hospital Dr. Muhammad Zein Painan not functioning properly because it has not provided the information needed, so that not informative and functional. Size of sign system is too small so that patients and visitors find it difficult to see and read the contents, Placement of sign system that are not right so that the sign system does not appear and becomes malfunctioning. The purpose of the design is so that the sign system designed can be informative and functional. Design methodology in designing a sign system through descriptive qualitative methods with a 5W + 1H analysis approach (what, where, when, who, why, how) that can answer and solve existing problems and develop creative design ideas. Data obtained from direct observation to the main source place and using documentation techniques. The results of the design sign system consists of several main media, namely identification sign, direction sign and mapping who has the main concept of being friendly. Supporting media in designing a sign system consists of ID cards, stickers, stamps, pins, welcome signs, and notebooks.Keywords: Hospital, Sign System

Abstract

Pesisir Selatan in West Sumatra, it is located on the seafront and has large and small uninhabited islands. Maritime and coastal wealth has become a mainstay of tourism in this district. South Coast has 57 islands. There are 17 big islands. The rest are small islands and uninhabited islands in the South Coast, the capital of Pesisir Selatan Regency is Painan. Coastal South has a natural panorama that is quite beautiful and charming. Now this tourist tourism by the central government of Indonesia. As a district that has natural tourist destinations that do not yet have a website. The website is an information and promotion media on the internet with the widest network, media that never stops operating.Designing Media for Promotion of Natural Coastal Areas in South Form o f Web Design This is taken from this nickname of the South Coast district of Million Enchantments. And according to the geography of South Coastal District, South Coastal District is located on the beach, with a coastline of 218 kilometers. The topography consists of plains, mountains and hills which are an extension of the Bukit Barisan cluster. This design uses the SWOT analysis method to look for weaknesses, strengths, opportunities, and threats of the South Coastal District as well as distinguishing factors from competing districts.Designing Media for Promoting Coastal Tourism in the Form of Web Design is a logo, tagline, and icon that is applied to the main media of the Website. Abstract

The design aims to design a book with the theme the use of limited yard in urban areas according to the module of BPTP, West Sumatera.The method that used in designing of this book is through the Glass Box approach, with the analysis used is 5W + 1H (what, who, where, when, why and how) to find a solution to the problem.This design produced a book on the Utilization of limited Yard in Urban Areas entitled Narrow Yard Planting Models, and other supporting media, that are: posters, x-banners, aprons, t-shirts, stickers and feeds on social media (Instagram), as media support and campaign.Keyword: Book, Utilization, Narrow Yard
