Abstract

Background: The most important indicators that determine public health status are maternal mortality (MMR) and infant mortality (IMR). In reducing MMR and IMR, a midwife has a very important role. Providing care during pregnancy, childbirth, neonates and the puerperium is the role of the midwife in ongoing examinations. Methods: Descriptive observational case study approach. Results: During the pregnancy, Mrs. A had 6 visits and during the first trimester, Mrs. A had experienced emesis gravidarum. Therefore, the authors provide non-pharmacological therapy PC 6 Acupressure because it is beneficial to increase the release of beta endorphins in the pituitary around the CTZ. Beta endorphin is a type of endogenous antiemetic that can cause inhibition of nausea and vomiting impulses in the vomiting center and CTZ. During the third trimester, Mrs. A had experienced back pain. Then the authors provide non-pharmacological therapy to the form of effleurage massage to provide a sense of comfort, relaxation, and stimulate the production of endorphins hormones that can naturally divert the pain. The birth process went smoothly and took place spontaneously. In addition, the care of the newborn and the postpartum period were all within normal limits. Conclusion: Continual midwifery care is provided, in accordance with the results of existing theories.

Abstract

Utilization of websites and applications can be in the form of presenting the information needed and providing opportunities for students to access topics anytime, anywhere. The author took the initiative to design and build a web and mobile-based medical record education information system and health information which is an alternative in education related to the scope of Medical Record and Health Information science. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The research design used is a research and development design, is a research design used to produce certain products and test the effectiveness of these products (Sugiyono, 2010). The development procedure in this study uses the waterfall model which is a software development process that is carried out sequentially. The system design is designed with the wordpress platform and IDE (Integrated Development Environment) consisting of VS Code and Flutter. The system design was tested by 3 experts in their field with a validation form, with the results in the form of comments on the improvement of the system design and the interpretation of the system design score. The results of the validation of the system design that are made fall into the feasible category but still need further improvements to perfect the system that will be operated later. The design of this system can be further developed later by further researchers by taking into account some of the shortcomings that exist in the design of this system.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is one of the main public health problems in Indonesia. The number of sufferers and the area of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) spread is increasing along with the increasing mobility, environment, climate, population density and community behavior, especially in tropical and sub-tropical areas. Methods: The search strategy used by researchers in making this Literature Review was to use the keyword "Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever Prevention Behavior". searches using databases are conducted, among others, at Google Scholar or Google Scholar. With a time span of 2010-2020. Results : Based on the results of the journal review, the prevention behavior of dengue fever by the family is influenced by the knowledge that the better the family's knowledge of Clean and Healthy Living Behaviors at home, the better the behavior of preventing dengue hemorrhagic fever in the family environment. Conclusion: the better the family's knowledge about PHBS in the household, the better the behavior to prevent Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in the family environment. And prevention through Clean and Healthy Behavior (PHBS) and 3M Plus, if done properly, will reduce the presence of mosquito larvae around the home environment.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Background: Empirically, lime is widely used by the people of Indonesia both as a cooking spice, cough medicine, shed phlegm, influenza, antibacterial treatment of acne, and as an ulcer medicine. Objective: To determine the ability of lime (Citrus aurantifolia)root extract as an antibacterial against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli bacteria using the dilution method. Methods: Experimental research, using the maceration method with 96% ethanol solvent soaked 3x 24 hours, then thickened with a rotary evaporator, then antibacterial testing with S. aureus bacteria was carried out by the dilution method. Results: Simplicia lime root as much as 200 grams using 96% ethanol obtained a thick extract of 3.5 grams. The of secondary metabolites contain positive alkaloids, flavonoids, saponin and tannins. of the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria with Escherichia coli were present at a concentration of 50% while the Minimum Killing Concentration of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria with Escherichia coli not found. Conclusion: The ethanolic extract of lime root (Citrus aurantifolia)has the ability as an antibacterial against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria with a MIC value of 50% concentration.contains positive secondary metabolite compounds, namely alkaloids, flavonoids, sapoons and tannins. The ethanolic extract of lime root (Citrus aurantifolia)did not have a Minimum Kill Concentration (KBM) value on Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. Keywords: (Citrus aurantifolia), E-coli, S.aureus, Dilution.

Abstract

Candida albicans is one of the most pathogenic species and often causes vaginitis in women with the main symptom of vaginal discharge. As many as 75% of women in Indonesia have experienced vaginal discharge at least once in their life and half of them have experienced vaginal discharge twice or more. This study aims to calculate the percentage of Candida albicanss in the urine of adolescents at the Putri Orphanage in Banjarmasin. This type of research is quantitative and descriptive with a cross-sectional design. The research sample was 21 urine sample teenagers at the Orphanage in Banjarmasin. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Laboratory examinations included macroscopic observations of Candida colonies growing on Sabouraud Dextrose Agar (SDA) media, and microscopic observations using the Germ Tube test to distinguish Candida albicanss species from Candida non-albicanss. And by filling out a questionnaire to determine the level of knowledge about vaginal discharge and personal hygiene. The results showed 33% of respondents were positive for Candida albicanss. Based on the results, overview Candida albicans in adolescents at the Putri Asri Orphanage in Banjarmasin, it can be concluded that there are 7 samples (33%) positive for Candida albicans. Personal hygiene and environmental sanitation can affect the growth of Candida albicans which can cause vaginal discharge in adolescent girls.
