Abstract

The rapid development of technology in the digital era, including in the field of education, encourages continuous efforts to improve the effectiveness and efficiency in managing academic and administrative activities. The process of new student admissions that is still carried out manually has caused various problems, such as long queues, the risk of data recording errors, lost documents, and a lack of transparency of information. This research aims to study the existing registration system, design an effective online registration system based on a website according to the needs, and compile detailed documentation of the system design. The software development method used in this research is the waterfall model. To collect the necessary data, the author conducted data collection activities using several methods, including observation, interviews, and literature studies. The result of this research is a design of a web- based information system for new student admissions that can improve time efficiency, facilitate the registration and selection process, support structured data storage, and provide easy access to information for prospective students and parents. Based on the analysis and system design described, it is expected that this system will provide time efficiency in the registration process and assist administrators in managing data.

Abstract

In the development of information technology today, information systems are needed in the management of goods inventory data. This thesis discusses the development of a web-based inventory information system at the Bekasi Drinking Water Technology Center. This agency previously used a manual process in recording and reporting goods, which often caused delays in information, recording errors, and difficulty in tracking data. Data was collected through direct observation, and interviews with staff. The system was developed using the Waterfall method which consists of the stages of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The application was built with CodeIgniter 4 framework and MySQL database. The implementation results show that the system can help manage the inventory of goods in a more orderly and controlled manner. The recording and reporting process is faster, more accurate, and can be accessed at any time by the Super admin, admin and user. This system is also considered capable of reducing recording errors, speeding up data searches, and supporting operational efficiency at the Bekasi Drinking Water Technology Center

Abstract

In the digital era, fast and open access to information is the key to an organization's success. PT Kalbe Farma, as a leading pharmaceutical company, faces obstacles in providing access to information related to vendor data and employee training. This limitation has an impact on the company's operational efficiency and decision making. Vendors are important business partners in the availability of goods. The right steps are needed in selecting a Vendor so that activities in a company run smoothly. To overcome this problem, a "Vendor Data Management System at PT Kalbe Farma Cikarang" was designed. The design uses the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which is a system that can be used quickly and is reusable. RAD is also a system with high dynamism. This system aims to further explain to Employees about Vendors, Vendor needs and the Vendor Data Management System that can open up access to vendor information that is easily known by Employees. This system also helps to see Vendor data performance, whether the Vendor is worthy of continuing cooperation. In addition, this system allows companies to respond more quickly to training needs, so that employee performance can improve. The trial results show that this system is effective in improving information accessibility, optimizing the training process, and increasing the efficiency and productivity of the company. With proper implementation, this system contributes significantly to the improvement of the company's overall operations and competitiveness
