AbstractÂ This paper discusses the information down the proverbial-Minangkabau petitih in the form of E-book. The purpose of this paper is to describe the repackaging information adage-petitih Minangkabau. The method used is descriptive research methods by collecting data through observation conducted in communities in Nagari Batipo, Tanah Datar Regency.On the basis of the discussion it was concluded that the stages of manufacture down the proverbial information-petitih Minangkabau, as follows: 1) Select and designate topics; 2) Determine strategy in seeking information; 3) determine the location of information and how to access; 4) use information by way of evaluating; 5) Package information; 6) product and process Evaluation pembuatannyadengan way: a) the making of the cover; b) Foreword; c) table of contents; d gist discussion); e) cover.Keywords: adage-petitih, packaging information, Minangkabau

AbstractThe goal of this research is to know the internal and external factors in utilizing library collections in the Geringging River MTsN. This type of research are descriptive, research was carried out in October 2018. Research population numbering 226 students. Sample research amounted to 45 students. Sampling techniques using Purposive Sampling. Insturmen research with deployment now. Data were analyzed with the frequency distribution formula in the form of a percentage. Research results through two factors i.e. internal factors (needs, motives and interests) and external factors (the completeness of the collection, pustakawanan skills in serving the users, the availability of on-site appointment back information). From the spread of the now disimpulan that the internal factor of utilization of library collection in Geringging River MTsN Padang Pariaman are in the category of medium with a percentage (51.27%). External factors and the utilization of library collection in Geringging River MTsN Padang Pariaman are in both categories with percentages (62.91%).Keywords: internal factors and external factors of library collections

AbstractIn this paper discussed about preparation of annotated index and clipping newspapers Minangkabau charge collection Service Library and Kerasipan the city of Padang. The purpose of the writing of this paper are: 1) described the preparation of an annotated index of newspaper clippings and Singgalang Year 2017 Minangkabau charge Collection service of Library and Archival Padang city; 2) describes the constraints of drafting annotated index and clipping newspapers Singgalang Year 2017 Minangkabau charge Collection service of Library and Archival Padang city; 3) and the efforts made in the preparation of an annotated index of newspaper clippings and Singgalang Year 2017 Minangkabau charge Collection service of Library and Archival Padang city method used in the writing of this paper is research methods descriptive data gathered directly from that is the original source, namely newspapers Singgalang Collection Agency library and Archives of the city of Padang.Based on the data Analyzer, few things can be summed up as follows. The first stage in the preparation of an annotated index are: a) doing the observations on the availability of newspapers with the result there are 50 articles Minangkabau charge; b selection) newspaper articles note that newspapers charge article Singgalang Minangkabau; c) newspaper clipping creation contains information about the names of the newspapers as well as Sunrise; d) makes description newspapers listing the day, date, year published, page where articles found; e) make annotations after reading the entire contents of the article; f) determines the keywords that describe the subject matter of the problem of the article; g) making article index surta news which includes provisions in the writing of the author's name, article title and keywords; h) preparation of an annotated index of Minangkabau charge; I) annotated index, typing the title index, an index of author and keyword indices. nKedua, in the preparation of an annotated index and clipping newspapers charge Minangkabau there are obstacles faced as follows: a) constraints at the time of observation is a collection of newspapers; b) constraints at the time of selecting appropriate collection of newspapers. Third, 1) effort can be overcome with a collection of newspapers should be placed and arranged on the shelves neatly collection according to the order of the month and year of publication; 2) and effort can be overcome by grouping newspapers berdasrkan newspapers name, month and year of publication.Keywords: index, annotations, clippings, minangkabau

abstractÂ This paper discusses the process of index indexing by annotating thesis of the management in the AKBP-STIE "KBP" Padang library. The purpose of this research is to present or describe how the process of indexing is done by annotating the thesis of the management in the AKBP-STIE "KBP" Padang library. The method used is descriptive method which is described as is. Data was collected by direct observation and asked several questions to librarians in the AKBP-STIE "KBP" library in Padang. The process of making an annotated index is (a) the collection and grouping of management theses in accordance with each management thesis year, after the collection is done, the number of management theses from 2011-2017 is 258 copies; (b) create a management thesis description consisting of the author's name, thesis title, and thesis year; (c) the creation of an management thesis annotation that aims to provide a brief overview of the contents of the management thesis; (d) determination of keywords that aim to simplify and accelerate the retrieval of management theses; (e) Preparation and Media Index of Management Thesis, the media provisions of this annotated index linking are in the form of a book with systematic preparation based on the author's thesis name; (f) Typing an Annotated Index, with the provisions of the arrangement starting from the index, annotations, keywords, and shelf locations as well as the thesis code that has been given by the librarian.Keyword:Â index with annotation, management scription.

AbstractÂ Making An Annotated Index of Civil Engineering Library Collection Journal Padang State Polytechnic. Journal Library and Archival Information Study Program. Indonesian and Regional Languages and Literature Department. Faculty of Social and Arts. Padang State University. In this paper discussed about making an annotated index of civil engineering journals from the Padang Polytechnic library. The purpose of this study was to describe the indexing process with annotations in management thesis at the Padang State Polytechnic library. The method used is descriptive method which is explained as it is. Data was collected by direct observation and filing interviews with librarians at the Padang State Polytechnic Library. The process of making an annotated index is (1) initial observations of Civil Engineering Journals conducted directly at the Padang State Polytechnic Library, after observations the journal collection consists of 7 journals, and 160 articles; 2) Selection of Civil Engineering Journals at the Padang Polytechnic Library, after collection and selection, the journal collection consists of 7 journals, copies and 60 articles; (3) making a journal description is done by recording annotated index data. The information recorded is the name of the journal, volume, month and year of publication of the journal, article title, author's name, and article page number; (4) article annotation, aims to provide a description of the contents to the user. Making annotations is done by first reading the entire article, understanding the purpose of the article; (5) determining keywords that aim to simplify and accelerate information retrieval. Keywords are taken from the article title, article abstract, and article content; (6) indexing of journal articles with several provisions such as index of author names, index of titles and index of keywords arranged in alphabetical order; (7) Typing an annotated index.Keywords: annotated index; civil engineering journal

AbstractThis paper discusses the community's response to the services in the ummi nagari mosque in Alahan Panjang, Kabupaten Solok. The purpose of this study was to describe the community's response to the services at the Ummi Nagari Alahan Panjang Mosque Library Kabupaten Solok. The method used is descriptive method with a quantitative approach, which is collecting data directly and distributing questionnaires at the Ummi Nagari Alahan Panjang Mosque Library Kabupaten Solok. Based on analyzing the data, it can be concluded as follows. First, the community's response to librarians is good, because the services provided by librarians make people very satisfied. Second, the community's response to collections in the library is good, because the collections provided in the library are complete. Third, the community's response to the facilities is also good, this can be seen from the people who visit the library, they feel comfortable with the facilities provided.Keyword:Â services, library.

AbstractIn this paper discussed about the creation of an index of newspaper stories with the subject son Singgalang in the service of the library and Archives of the city of Padang. The purpose of this paper is how stages of making a newspaper index to the subject of children's stories Singgalang in the service of the library and Archives of the city of Padang.Research methods used in the manufacture of the paper is descriptive method in the form of the written word of the document are observed is done by way of observation. The observation is done to obtain data about existing Singgalang newspaper in the service of the library and Archives of the city of Padang.On the basis of the discussion it can be concluded that the stage of the round-the-comic library services library and Archives Office of Padang City elementary school for application of manga maker, as follows: 1) do the observation of Singgalang newspaper; 2) performs the selection against the article; 3) do the newspaper clippings; 4) makes description index newspaper; 5) index; and 6) type index.Keywords: Index, children's stories

AbstractIn this writing discussed about making a food encyclopedia typical of West Sumatra. The purpose of writing this paper aims to describe the making of an encyclopedia of typical food in West Sumatra. The research method used in this study is descriptive method with data collection techniques through interviews. Data collection through interviews was conducted with the communities in each region in West Sumatra. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the stages in the making of the encyclopedia of West Sumatra typical foods are as follows: 1) information tracing to every region in West Sumatra; 2) Collection of food data typical of West Sumatra is collected based on the results of the search for information from information sources, namely typical restaurant outlets in each region in West Sumatra; 3) the editing or checking process is carried out by completing the lack of writing the wrong word; 4) create a printed encyclopedia for West Sumatra food.Â Keywords: food, West Sumatra, and encyclopedia

AbstractÂ This study aims to examine and assess how theÂ kanagarian duriantinggi community maintains and continues the indigenous knowledge found there. Indigenous Knowledge of the Durian Tinggi people, The research method used is descriptive case study, Data collection methods in this study were observations, interviews, and documentatio. The results of this study show that the people in Kanagrian Duriantinggi have different knowledge of adat from other communities where the culture found in Kanagarian Duriantinggi has a little element of Malay culture in it, the culture that is still on the run and continues to be passed on from generation to generation in the people of Kabagrian Duriantinggi. Whereas in the conservation of knowledge contained in the community more in the form of documentation, whereas for text or text is only rewritten and does not use document rext digitall, indigenous knowledge (indigenous knowledge held by the community in Durian Tinggi, indigenous knowledge is stored within each community verbally.Keywords: preservation of knowledge, indigenous knowledge, Durian tinggi community

AbstractIn this paper discussed about the preparation of an annotated index of newspapers Singgalang Bersubjek Education library collection State University of Padang. The purpose of the writing of this paper are: 1) Described the preparation of an annotated index of newspapers Singgalang Educational Bersubjek State University Library collection; 2) Describes the constraints and the preparation of an annotated index of newspapers Singgalang bersubjek Education library collections of the University of the country. The methods used in the writing of this paper is a descriptive research method that is gathering data directly from the original sources, i.e. newspapers Singgalang library collections of the University of the country.Based on the data Analyzer, few things can be summed up as follows. The first stage in the preparation of an annotated index are: a) doing the observations on the availability of newspapers with the result there are 51 Singgalang articles bersubjek education; b selection) newspaper articles note that newspapers Singgalang contains articles bersubjek Education dikolom opinion; c) makes the newspaper's description lists the day, date, year published, page where articles found; d) create annotations after reading the entire contents of the article; e) determines the keywords that describe the subject matter of the problem of the article; f) making article index surta news which includes provisions in the writing of the author's name, article title and keywords; g) Drafting annotated index of articles on education; typing h) annotated index, title index, an index of author and keyword indices. Second, in the preparation of an annotated index of newspapers Singgalang Bersubjek Education there are obstacles faced as follows: a) constraints at the time of observation is a collection of newspapers can be overcome with a collection of newspapers should be placed and arranged on the shelves neatly collection according to the order of the month and year of publication; b) constraints at the timeof selecting appropriate collection of newspapers can be addressed by grouping newspapers berdasrkan newspapers name, month and year of publication.Keywords: index, annotations, education
