Abstract

This article aims to describe the achievement level of making plan, implementation, and achievement in the assessmentlearning of Bahasa Indonesia on the implementation of curriculum 2013 at SMP N 2, SMP N 3, and SMP N 4 Bukittinggi.  The research type was a qualitative research and quantitative research that used descriptive method. The techniques used in this research were observation, interview, and documentary research. The techniques used in analyzing the data were identification, presentation, and   drawing conclusions. The result of the research found that whole aspects of planning, implementation, and assessmentlearning have been created as well by the Indonesian teachers of SMP N Bukittinggi based on the curriculum 2013 with good category.Kata kunci: Implementasi, kurikulum 2013, dan  Bahasa Indonesia

Abstract

The purpose of this study is as follows to, (1) the text describes the skills of reading comprehension group cloze exposition with the technique group class VIII SMP Negeri 31 Padang, (2) describing the text reading comprehension skills exposition with group sequencing techniques group class VIII SMP Negeri 31 Padang, (3) describes difference exposition text reading comprehension skills using techniques cloze group and group sequencing techniques eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 31 Padang. The results of this research consists of that, (1) the text reading comprehension skills with engineering group exposition cloze eighth grade students of group class VIII SMP Negeri 31 Padang is good and grades Baik with average (79.59), (2) the text reading comprehension skills with engineering group exposition sequencing eighth grade students of group class VIII SMP Negeri 31 Padang are in qualification More than Enough with the average (75.10), and (3) based on t-test, alternative hypothesis (H­1) is gained at the significant phase 95% and degrees of freedom (df) = (n1+n2)-2 because tcount  > ttable (6,053 > 1,67). Kata kunci: perbedaan, membaca pemahaman teks eksposisi, teknik group cloze, teknik group sequencing

Abstract

This research aims to describe the following two points. First, describe the characteristics of the generic structure of short story text of students of grade XI SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Sikaping. Second, describe Error of spelling in short story text made by students of grade XI SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Sikaping. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The data discussed is qualitative data. The data were language devices in the form of written words taken from the object of research. The Sources of data in this study is short story texts of students of class XI class of 2015 SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Sikaping. The instrument of this research is the researcher herself. Data were analyzed by describing, analyzing, and discussing data based on theory. The results of research are as follows. First, the researcher found 6 characteristics of short story text structure, namely abstract, orientation, complication, evaluation, resolution, and code in the writing of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Sikaping. Second, there were 3 spelling mistakes found, namely the use of capital letters, the use of prepositions and affixes, and the use of punctuation pronouns, nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs in the writing students grade XI SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Sikaping. Based on the results of the research it can be concluded two things. First, in writing the short story texts students of grade XI SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Sikaping has used four text structure short stories namely orientation, complication, evaluation, and resolution. It was found that from 21 short story text that have been analyzed, only 5 short story text that uses the abstract and only 5 short story text that also uses the coda. Secondly, it was also found that when viewed from the spelling mistakes in the short story text written by the students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Sikaping, the most dominant mistake were the use of capital letters and the use of punctuation. Keywords: karakteristik struktur generik, ejaan, teks cerpen

Abstract

This article was written to detect the influence of cooperative learning think pair share concerning short story writing skill of class IX students of SMPN 14 Padang. The data of this research were the result of the short story writing final test. The data were collected by giving short story writing test through cooperative learning think pair share and without cooperative learning think pair share. The hipotesis tested by using test-t formula. The result indicated that (1) the arithmetic average of the students’ short story writing skills pretest 54,14; (2) the arithmetic average of the students’ short story writing skills posttest were 82,65; and (3) according to test-t’s result, can be concluded that there was a significant influence of the used of cooperative learning think pair share to the short story writing skill of class IX students of SMPN 19 Padang.  Kata kunci: pengaruh, think pair share, menulis cerpen

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the level of skills of writing news eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Batang Kapas without using a strategy of inquiry assisted audiovisual media, (2) describe the level of skills of writing news eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Trunk Cotton using a strategy of inquiry assisted media audiovisual, and (3) describe the effect of the use of inquiry strategies aided audiovisual media to news writing skills of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Batang Kapas. This research is a quantitative study with experimental method. The results of this study there are three, namely (1) news writing skills without the use of audiovisual media strategy aided inquiry eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Rod Cotton is the qualification More than Enough (LDC) with an average value of 68.37. (2) news writing skills using audiovisual media strategy aided inquiry eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Cotton Trunk is qualifiers Good (B) with an average value of 81.63. (3) based on the t-test, the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted at 95% significance level and degrees of freedom (df) = (n1 + n2) -2 because thitung¬> ttable (12.27> 1.67). From the results of hypothesis testing there is a significant influence on news writing skills using audiovisual media strategy aided inquiry eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Batang Kapas. Keywords: pengaruh, strategi inkuiri, media audiovisual, menulis berita

Abstract

The purpose of this research are describing the form, strategy, and context of using speech act strategy which are positively and negatively responded by the students in teaching and learning process in class IX at SMPN 26 Padang. The type of this research is a qualitative research descriptive. (3) Method within the data such as the teachers’ speech act and students’ respond in teaching and learning process. The technique used in collecting the data is recording technique. Based on the research discovery and discussion, the writer concludes the terms below. There are five types of directive speech act asking, desiring, suggesting, demanding, and challenging. These types of directive speech act are expressed by using four types of speaking; they are speaking frankly without politeness, speaking frankly with positive politeness, speaking frankly with negative politeness, and speaking obscurely in teaching and learning process in different situations. That teacher’s speech acts are responded differently by the students. The responds can be a respond of positive verbal, negative verbal, positive nonverbal and negative nonverbal. Kata kunci:  direktif, strategi, konteks, respon siswa

Abstract

The purpose of this study is (1) to describe the text short story writing skills of students of class VII SMP Negeri 8 Padang before and after using cooperative learning model Think Talk Write aided media beamed images. (2) analyze the effect of the use of cooperative learning model Think Talk Write aided media beamed images to text short story writing skills of students of class VII SMP Negeri 8 Padang. This research is a quantitative study with experimental method. The results of this research there are three: (1) The text of the short story writing skills of students of class VII SMP Negeri 8 Padang before using cooperative learning model Think Talk Write aided media beamed images that are in the qualification More than Enough (LDC). (2) The text of the short story writing skills of students of class VII SMP Negeri 8 Padang after using cooperative learning model Think Talk Write aided media beamed images that are in the qualification Good (B). (3) based on the t-test, the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted on the confidence level and degrees of freedom (df) = n - 2 for thitung> ttable. Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of implementation modeling techniques toward writing a script drama one round skill eight grade students of SMP Negeri 11 Padang. This research is quantitative research. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, the obtainable based on the sampling technique are VIII.A class as sample of this research. The result of this research is there was a significant effect of the implementation of modeling techniques toward writing a script drama one round skill eight grade students of SMP Negeri 11 Padang by freedom degree (n1 + n2)-2 with significants rate 95% and tobservation  is bigger than ttabel that is 7,20>1,70. It means, modeling techniques was effective use in writing a script drama one round r of observation skill eight grade students of SMP Negeri 11 Padang. Observe the benefit and effectiveness of modeling techniques, it proved that modeling techniques can use as reference and developing of inovation toward writing a script drama one round skill. Kata kunci: keterampilan menulis, teknik pemodelan, naskah drama satu babak

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to describe three things. First, understanding the traditional poetry seventh grade students of SMP N 24 Padang. Secondly, the writing skills traditional poetry seventh grade students of SMP N 24 Padang. Third, the relationship of understanding the traditional poetry with writing skills traditional poetry seventh grade students of SMP N 24 Padang. This type of research is quantitative, descriptive method and design of the study is correlational. The population was seventh grade students of SMP N 24 Padang,  284 students and the sample are 40 students. Sampling using proportional random sampling technique. Based on the results of research and data analysis, it was concluded that there was a significant relationship between the understanding the traditional poetry with writing skills traditional poetry seventh grade students of SMP N 24 Padang on n-1 degrees of freedom and the significant level of 95%, tcalculate greater than ttable ie 4,29 > 1,68. In other words, if the students' understanding the traditional poetry of good, writing skills traditional poetry students are also good. Conversely, if the students' understanding the traditional poetry of bad, writing skills traditional poetry seventh grade students of SMPN 24 Padang too bad. Kata kunci:  hubungan, pemahaman pantun, keterampilan menulis pantun

Abstract

This article was written to detect the influence of modelling concerning short story writing skill of class IX students of SMPN 14 Padang. The data of this research were the result of the short story writing final test. The data were collected by giving short story writing test through modelling and without modelling. The hipotesis tested by using test-t formula. The result indicated that (1) the arithmetic average of the students’ short story writing skills pretest 58,85; (2) the arithmetic average of the students’ short story writing skills posttest were 86,97; and (3) according to test-t’s result, can be concluded that there was a significant influence of the used of modelling to the short story writing skill of class IX students of SMPN 19 Padang.  Kata kunci: pengaruh, teknik pemodelan, menulis cerpen
