This article was written to illustrate the effect of using problem based learning model with serialized media relation to writing skill of exposition of VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman. This research data is a score in the skills of writing exposition texts before and after using the problem-based model of learning assisted media series image. This study has three results. First, the skills of writing expository texts before using the problem based learning model with the help of the medium of serial images are in the qualification Enough (C). Second, the skill of writing the text of the exposition of the students of grade VIII SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman after using the problem based learning model assisted by the media of the series is qualified More than Enough (Ldc). Third, based on the t test concluded that there is a significant influence on the skill of writing expository text because thitung> ttabel (5,54> 1.70).Kata kunci: pengaruh, model problem based learning, media gambar berseri, menulis teks eksposisi

The purpose of this research is to explain the effect of discovery learning through audiovisual media toward writing skill on exposition text for eight grade of SMP Negeri 31 Padang students. This research used quantitative method which usedone group pretest and posttest design. The population of this research was the eight grade students of SMP Negeri 31 Padang. There was 271 population but there was only one class to be the sample. It was class VIII.1 whivh consisted of 34 students that choosen by using purposive sampling technique. The data of this research was the score of the result of studentsâ€™ writing skill in exposition text before and after using discovery learning model through audiovisual media. There are three result of this research. First, the studentsâ€™ writing skill in exposition text before using discovery learning through audivisual media was 68,14. Second, the studentsâ€™ writing skill in exposition text after using discovery learning through audiovisual media was 82,84. Third, based on the t-test alternative hypotesis (H1) is accepted on the significant degree 95% and degree (dk) = n â€“ 1 tcount > ttable (7,00>1,70).Â Â Kata kunci: discovery learning, media audiovisual, keterampilan menulis, teks eksposisi.

This article was written to illustrate the effect of discovery learning models directly media-assisted objects and skills to write reports text of students of class VII SMP Negeri 11 Padang. Research data is the result of the score in the skill of writing the report text before and after using dicovery learning model assisted by direct object media. This study has three results. First, the skill of writing the report text of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 11 Padang before using discovery learning model with the object media directly in the qualification Self (C) with the average value 62.21. Second, the skill of writing the report text of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 11 Padang after using discovery learning model with the object media directly in the good qualification (B) with the average value 78,32. Third, based on the experiment concluded that there is a significant influence on the discovery learning model with the direct object of the students of class VII SMP Negeri 11 Padang because ttable<tcount (1,70<8,41).Â Kata kunci: pengaruh, discovery learning model, media objek langsung, menulis, teks laporan observasi

The purpose of this study is to (1) desciribe the skill of writing the news berfore using cooperative learning model tipe think pair share, (2) desciribe the skill of writing the news after using cooperative learning model tipe think pair share, (3) describe effect between using of cooperative learning model type think pair share on the skill of writing to the news of class VIII SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. The result of this study is the influence of cooperative learning model type think pair share to news writing skill. The purpose of this research is to describe the form of speech act directive, story strategy, politeness, and student's response in teaching and learning process in Ix class of SMP Negeri 2 Ampek Angkek. The type of this research is qualitative descriptive This research was conducted in class IX SMP Negeri 2 Ampek Angkek. Subjects in this study were Indonesian language teachers SMP Negeri 2 Ampek Angkek, Mrs. Desni Yurza and students of class IX SMP Negeri 2 Ampek Angkek. Instruments in this research is the researcher himself. The data that have been collected is analyzed by classifying the data of speech acts directive, srtategi speak, politeness, and student response in teaching and learning process. Based on the research result, it is concluded four things. First, the speech act of the Indonesian language teacher directive in class IX SMP 2 Ampek Angkek can be said is good. Second, the strategy of speaking Indonesian teachers in class IX SMP Negeri 2 Ampek Angkek still needs to be improved. Third, the principle of language-related politeness in the class IX SMP Negeri 2 Ampek Angkek needs to be improved. Fourth, the response of students in class IX SMP Negeri 2 Ampek Angkek to the speech acts of teachers has not happened a good response.Â Kata kunci: direktif, strategi, kesantunan, respon siswa.Â

Â This research is purpose to describe the influencing of using copy the master technic for writing explanation text ability for students class VIII SMP Negeri 15 Padang. The kind of this research is quantitative. The research uses experiment method which emphasizes on semu design experiment for one group pretest posttest design. There are three result on the research are (1) the studentsâ€™ ability in writing explanation text before using copy the master technic at SMP Negeri 15 Padang is low and grades LdC with average 65,97, (2) the studentsâ€™ ability in writing explanation text after using copy the master technic at SMP Negeri 15 Padang is high and grades BS with average 85,97, and (3) the significant influenced from using copy the master technic writing explanation text ability for students class VIII SMP Negeri 15 Padang. Based on t-test on the significant phase 95% and degrees of freedom (df) = nI because t-table<tcountt (1,70>10,91).Â Kata kunci: pengaruh, teknik copy the maser, menulis, teks eksplanasi

This article aims to describe the following two points. First, describe the types of characters in the text of fantasy stories of students of class VII SMP Negeri 1 Payakumbuh. Second, describe the technique of the presence of characters in the text of fantasy stories of students of class VII SMP Negeri 1 Payakumbuh.The type of research used is qualitative research using descriptive method. The instrument of this research is the researcher / writer himself assisted the theoretical books and tables of data analysis. This research data is a language tool in the form of written words taken from the data source. The data in the form of figures and techniques of the presence of characters contained in the text of fantasy stories of students of class VII SMP Negeri 1 Payakumbuh which amounted to 30 texts. The technique of data validation used is triangulation technique. The data analyzing steps are: (1) identifying the general picture of data as well as encoding text, (2) coding the data, (3) analyzing the characters and characterizations in the fantasy story text of the students of grade VII SMP Negeri 1 Payakumbuh by using formats based on theory used, (4) discussion of research data, (5) summarizes the results of research, and (6) reported the results of research in the form of thesis. Based on the research results can be concluded two things. First, the kind of characters that tend to be used by students of grade VII SMP Negeri 1 Payakumbuh in the fantasy story text that they write is a fictional character, additional characters, white figures, flat figures, and static figures. Second, the technique of presence of characters that tend to be used students of class VII SMP Negeri 1 Payakumbuh in the text of the fantasy story they write is analytical techniques, action techniques, and techniques of words.Â Kata kunci: Tokoh, Penokohan, Teks Cerita Fantasi
