Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the reflection of Lubuklinggau Malayan culture in the short stories Bulan Celurit Api by Benny Arnas based on (1) the religious system, (2) the system of tools and equipments of life, (3) The system of livelihood, (4) social system. The data of this research were words, expressions, phrases and sentences which pointed on the religious system, the system of tools and equipments of life, the system of livelihood and social system in the short stories Bulan Celurit Api by Benny Arnas. The data were collected through content analysis. The finding of this research was the short stories Bulan Celurit Api by Benny Arnas which reflected the social life in Lubuklinggau today and past situation.   Kata kunci: Refleksi, Budaya, Lubuklinggau, Sistem

Abstract

The purpose of this article to describe structure and cultural value in Pasambahan Maantaan Kampie Siriah (Propose). The data of this research is structure and cultural value in Pasambahan Maantaan Kampie Siriah (Propose). The analyzing technique has been done with follow procedure: (1) inventaratation of data, (2) transliterate data into Indonesia language, (3) classification of data,  (4) analyze by theory, and (5) conclusion.  The findings of the research is Pasambahan structure consist are Sambah statement, Pasambahan Siriah, and content of Pasambahan. In the expression structure of sambah statement consist of the opening by guest (P2), obeisance statement by guest (P2) and  owner house (P1), obeisance terminate by guest (P2), confirmation by owner house (P1), deferment while (agreement owner house (P1) and guest (P2)). In the expression structure of Pasambahan Siriah consist of the the opening by guest (P2), intention content by guest (P2), confirmation by owner house (P1), and deferment while (agreement owner house and guest). Content of Pasambahan consist of the aim and mean. Cultural values which be contained is humility value and respect for other, agreement value and consensus, fidelity value and accuracy, submissive value and obedient to the custome, the nature of human life, human nature against, and human nature connection peer human.   Keywords: structure ,cultural values, pasambahan, maantaankampiesiriah

Abstract

The purpose of this article (a) to describe story of episode novel Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan created by Agnes Davonar, (b) to describe story of episode film Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan director by Harris Nizam, (c) to describe similar and different story of episode novel with film Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan. The Data of this study were story of episode novel Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan created by Agnes Davonar and film Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan director by Harris Nizam. Analyzed technique do with ekranisasi theory. The findings of the study showed that the decrease story of episode novel Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan created by  Agnes Davonar in film Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan director by Harris Nizam become to 69 story of episode. Increase story of episode in film Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan director by Harris Nizam become to 27 story of episode. The same variation changes event, figure and background story of episode in novel Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan created by Agnes Davonar and film Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan director by Harris Nizam become to 32 story of episode.   Kata kunci : novel, film, ekranisasi, episode cerita

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe (1) markers and markers in car advertisements in daily newspapers Singgalang October 2012 issue, and (2) the meaning of car advertisements in daily newspapers Singgalang October 2012 issue. The data of this study were car ads on daily newspaper edition Singgalang October 2012. Data analysis techniques of research is done by inventory data through daily newspapers Singgalang October 2012 issue, and then classify the data by grouping based on the theory that the next set, the data were analyzed by grouping data and mengiinterpretasikan by way of interpretation and restrictions based on a theoretical framework, and analyze data and discussion to draw conclusions. The findings of this study are semiotic signs in form of markers (signifier) and twenty-sign (signified) and twenty meanings contained in automobile advertisements on newspapers Singgalang October 2012 issue.   Kata kunci :    Iklan, Surat Kabar, Semiotika.

Abstract

This research amied to present, (1) a describtion of law script of Salimpat- Gumanti Valley subdistrict, Solok Regency; (2) the forms of writing errors and deviation of letter in law script of Salimpat- Gumanti Valley subdistrict, Solok Regency; and (3) the form of text edition law script of Salimpat- Gumanti Valley subdistrict, Solok Regency. Therefore, it could be read. This research used qualitative research that was focused on philology area, and the object of the study was law of Salimpat- Gumanti Valley subdistrict, Solok Regency. This research used standart edition method to do text edition. This research found letter errorrs, namely lacunae, substitution, haphlographie, and dittograhpy.  Besdies, deviation of letter, the form of writing errors were also found. The errors and deviation that were found repaired then. The law script of Salimpat- Gumanti Valley subdistrict, Solok Regency was translated into Indonesian and made in a new edition. Abstract

This observation was written to (1)  described the category of the expression of gambier farmers in Kenagarian Simpang Kapuak Kecamatan Mungka Kabupaten 50 Kota (2) described the meaning contained in the expression of gambier farmers in Kenagarian Simpang Kapuak Kecamatan Mungka Kabupaten 50 Kota (3) described the function of the expression of gambier farmers in Kenagarian Simpang Kapuak Kecamatan Mungka Kabupaten 50 Kota. The sources of this study is oral sources that expressed by informants who have been determined. Data were collected by doing some interview and record all phrased that noticed by the informant. The results of the observation are 49 expressions. That Expression consists of the human body categories and folkmedicine, homeand domestic work, livelihoods and social relations, travel and transportation,death and funeral customs. The meaning of the expression is implicitly.  The Function of the expressionis to tell, to educate, to warn, to ban and to entertain.   Kata kunci: ungkapan, kepercayaan, masyarakat, petani, gambir.

Abstract

This article was written to (1) describe the translation of story about Ibrahim prophet at text Story of Prophets version Azhari Alkhalidi Rahmatullah, (2) describe change language of story about Ibrahim prophet at text Story of Prophets version Azhari Alkhalidi Rahmatullah. The data of this study were story about Ibrahim prophet at text Story of Prophets version Azhari Alkhalidi Rahmatullah. The text was got from field research. The text was data processing by four step, is roundup of data, describe of the text, translation, and change language. The finding of the study is avalaible of text about Ibrahim prophet at text Story of Prophets version Azhari Alkhalidi Rahmatullah in Latin script and Indonesian language and more words that indicate old language charactheristic. Abstract

This article was written to describe the Minangkabau language phonological system in Kenagarian Singkarak based on (1) the system of vowels, (2) consonant system, (3) diphthong, (4) distribution of vowels, consonants and diphthongs, (5) form syllables. The method used in this research was descriptive method. The data in this study were 200 basic vocabularies of Morris Swades and basic cultural vocabulary. The data was collected with basic techniques such “pancing” technique, followed by “cakap semuka” technique. The finding theMinangkabau language phonological system in Kenagarian Singkarak research is 5 vocal, 20 consonant, 4 phoneme diphthongs, distribution vocal complete, while distribution consonant consisting of 8 consonants complete and 12 incomplete and distribution diphthong incomplete and form syllables consisting a vowel (V), a vowel and a consonant (VC), a consonant and a vocal (CV) and a consonant, a vowel, a of consonants (CVC).   Kata Kunci: fonologi, vokal, konsonan, diftong,

Abstract

The purpose of this article is (a) to describe the story of episode novel Di Bawah Lindungan Kabah written by Hamka, (b) to describe the story of episode Di Bawah Lindungan Kabah movie director by Hanny R. Saputra, (c) to describe the similarity and differences the story of episode novel with Di Bawah Lindungan Kabah movie. The Data of this study is the story of episode novel Di Bawah Lindungan Kabah written by Hamka and Di Bawah Lindungan Kabah movie director by Hanny R. Saputra. Analysis technique is with ekranisasi theory. The finding of the study showed that the decreasing episode of the story novel Di Bawah Lindungan Kabah written by Hamka in Di Bawah Lindungan Kabah movie director by Hanny R. Saputra become 61 stories of episode. Additional of the story in Di Bawah Lindungan Kabah movie director by Hanny R. Saputra become 89 stories of episode. The change of variation event, character and background the story of episode in novel Di Bawah Lindungan Kabah written by Hamka and Di Bawah Lindungan Kabah movie director by Hanny R. Abstract

This article aims to (1) profiles that reflect the character of prominent educators educators associated with the responsibilities of the novel Burlian the work of Tere Liye, (2) profile that reflects the character of prominent educators educators associated with care for the environment in a novel Burlian the work of Tere Liye, (3) profiles that reflect the character of prominent educators educators relating to social care in the Novel Burlian the work of Tere Liye, (4) profile that reflects the character of prominent educators educators relating to honest in the  Novel Burlian the work of Tere Liye. Data collected by: (1) read the novel Burlian, (2) conducted a study of the literature, this step is performed to obtain library materials referenced in discussing Burlian novel or as a guide for researchers, and (3) data on the profile inventory educators be held responsibility, environmental care, social care and honest in the novel Burlian the work of Tere Liye. The study's findings are prominent educators who reflect the character of responsibility, care for the environment, social care, and honesty.
